Everytime I've needed to speak with a banker, it takes a long time before they help. Today, I needed a banker and had to wait a very long time as there was only one. The other one was standing around chatting to the other banker's client, ignoring the waiting customers.  I couldn't even believe it. Disrespectful & unprofessional.

Those people need to go and get a training to learn how to open an account
No clues, called 4 times to main office to ask questions how to do it.
Sad
I'm thinking of changing bank

I've been a Chase customer at Main St. in Peekskill, NY for over 25 years. In the past 6 months, service at this branch has gone seriously downhill. Coincidentally, most (if not all) of the previous staff have also been transferred in the past 6 months. On several recent visits, the ATM was not functional -- unacceptable! Yesterday, I went to have a document notarized and was told they don't have a Notary at the branch! What kind of major bank doesn't have a Notary available?  And this is a free service that Chase prides themselves on!  I'm now looking at other banks in the area where the customers are valued and treated properly.

All I want to do  is cash a check and no longer can I pull conveniently into the drive up and do so.  Now I have to find a parking space (a challenge to begin with) get out of my car, go inside and find one (1) Teller open, or I should say working at a teller station.  I am advised that if i don't want to wait for the teller I can use the ATM machine inside the branch.  Today I called the branch, the phone rang and rang and went to a voice mail to say that no one was available to take my call and to call the 1-800 #!  I am a Private Client and wanted to speak with the officer, no luck!

I was a bank manager for 12 years and managed a bank of WAMU prior to the Chase conversion.  I am astounded as to how the industry has changed and the lack of human contact that Chase wants us to have.

I am sad for the employees of Chase if this is the environment they have to work in and the loss of jobs due to automation.

I just might have to change banks for better service, what a shame after 17 years of banking with them.

I have been with "Chase" Bank since it was "Bank One",  around 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  When Chase Bank goes to less personal contact with their clients, I will go to a bank that REALLY APPRECIATES those clients and offers great PERSONAL service.  Too many businesses are going completely to "Automation", and forgetting about the personal aspect that people want and EXPECT.  Please be a bank that CARES about their clients. I do hope that Chase cares!!

When This particular location opened a few years ago, I was so happy since its closer than the other one I usually go to. Over the years I can see that the staff is not like the one at the Providence location where they are so much more friendlier and will try to resolve your problem in some way or another. The staff at this location is definitely not like them at Providence. I have told my self over & over again that I'm not gonna go back to them but this time I'm firm on my decision. Even my husband has noticed their lack of interest in helping. I rather drive a little further than have to deal with the staff at Hwy6 & West Airport.
Won't be dealing with them anymore.

Every month since April 2013 - Chase on springdale in Jeffersonville, IN has decided for me; when I receive my SSA Automatic Direct Deposits.
Internet Help/messaging and speaking to numerous people there - does no good.  Half of them tell me that yes, they know my direct deposit hits on Wednesday but they hold it due to SSA until Thursday.
SSA informs me that they never gave Chase instructions to ever hold my automatic direct deposits.
Despite me giving the bank that paperwork (Benefit award letter) and copies of my payment history - they still refuse to pay me when I supposed to be paid.

Horrible Branch!!!
 2star Overall Rating
by Scarlet, Aug. 31, 2013

I went here to open my account years ago and the lady assisting me aggressively pushed a credit card on me which I closed as soon as I got home because I felt so uncomfortable with the whole situation.

About a month ago I decided to close my checking account because I had switched to another bank. I went in on 7/26 and was in and out in 15 mins. The gentleman even refunded me the monthly charge they charged me for that month. On 8/26 I get an email telling me that my account is not just open but in a negative due to the monthly charge. I go back to the same branch and another gentleman takes my info and says that everything will be set. By 8/29 my account was still red and open so I went back to the bank to see what is going on.

Another gentleman assisted me and told me because it will take a little bit to process the refund they are giving me for the monthly charge and the account needs to be in the green before they can close it, to give him a call on 8/30 so that he can close it. I decided to go into the back on 8/30 instead of giving him a call to make sure that everything is done properly. Because he was busy with another customer, one of his colleagues assisted me and informed me that the account is in the process of being closed. So even though I did not call him, he had remembered my issue and took the initiative to solve the problem.

He is the only reason I am giving this location 2 stars instead of 1. You guys need more people like him and less people like the first two gentlemen who apparently you pay to stand there and look pretty and not to do their job.

I am very upset.  I just found out through a conversation with my friends that the mortgage broker, Sue, gave my information out to the next customer.  She gave my occupation, relative age, pre-qual decision, and reason for getting a pre-qual with Chase to the next customer. Although she didn't give my name, these information gave away my identity to these people.
Why in the world would a bank employee give so much information?
I expected more professionalism.  I am very upset.

I have been with Chase Bank since 2005 as a Commercial Account holder.  All of their services as slow, long lines and no better than any for profit bank.  This one has a few more motor lines and seats if you get tired of standing in line or need to talk to an actual bank notary, employee but as usual do not make decisions or call back.

The big bank feel is everywhere here. I got this account when they bought Washington Mutual. Once the change over happened several things are very difficult. One all transactions are entered as memos, not real transactions. After getting used it, it works ok but it is still confusing trying to figure out how much is really in there or if there is a problem or is it just an uncleared memo. The other thing that was frustrating was that they tried to get you make changes to your account to receive "new and improved services". What they did not tell you was that when you did this, all of the no-charge features on my account would also be improved to the new freakishly high fees for everything! I was really mad at the deception. Boy is big bank bad! I was able to just close one acct and I set up direct deposit to reduce the fees on my other account. I have opened another account at my local credit union to see if I can deal with not having all the branches and ATM available. With Chase, having local branches is not really important in that most of the things I need to resolve, it requires a call to the 800 number anyway. There are a couple of positive things and that is the app for my phone works great and the photo deposit from my phone is great although I am not sure I am comfortable with it yet. Their online banking is great as well. If they were friendly and easy to deal with and their fees were not so expensive, I would probably to try to stay with them but can not deal with it.

Went in to help my 93 year old deaf mother have on line banking so we could set up bill pay. Should have done it myself at home but my Mom wanted to go. They set it up but put in either the wrong ID or wrong Password. Now cannot access and their CSR for the web is useless. Found something Bank of America does much better.

This branch of Chase bank is the absolute worst bank I have ever been to in any place in the nation because the Tellers are rude. They make me feel like they can't stand me and this 1 girl acts like she literally hates me! I thought maybe that is how she is, but I went in there this week and she was being somewhat talkative and fairly friendly to the person before me. When it was my turn, she actually seemed angry at me! I honestly have no idea why as I'm just a customer. I don't know any of these people outside of the bank and I've always been friendly and courteous even when being treated like this. I have been with WaMu/Chase for almost a decade now but am seriously considering switching banks even though I do almost all of my banking online. I was in a wonderful mood coming from the bank out business banks with as they are all so friendly and then went over to Chase to be treated so poorly. I don't want to do this anymore and think I may move all our banking to the local bank even though it may cost us money each month. Who want to go somewhere they're treated as though they are despised? :(

I went in last monday, and I signed up for merchant services and they told me that in no more than 3 days my account would be open and active ready to start processing. Well is now Friday afternoon and I get a call saying that they have an underwriting problem and that they need some info faxed, ok no problem right? Wrong, hold on Wrong!!! they say that the Underwriting office is in Dallas and I am in San Diego, they close at 5.00pm which is 3.00 my time, I get this call at 1.57pm ok one hr, I call the lady back for over 45 minutes and 13 calls later no response, away from the desk or on another call. So now I am with no credit card processing when I have two major events Saturday and Sunday for a convention and I am a vendor. Really nice chase.. way to keep customers happy, I was better with Wells than this rats....

Even if you are the only person in line to get service it is very slow! If you have a question the tellers rudely answer, and if they are unable to help you they pin the blame on others and have a horrendous attitude at the customer. The last three experiences I've had make me want to switch banks swiftly! Good customer service is a must in my life.

Every time you deposit a bigger check, they hold it 1-2 days, you can talk with the manager to 'verify funds' earlier... BUT, every manager says something different. Sometimes they make an exeption and sometimes they make you feel like trash for asking to verify your funds, rather then wait...The checks I deposit are as good as cash, since they are commission disbursements and written by Title Companies. I don't understand why we have this rule to let the bank play with our money and make more money, when we working people need our money available the same day!. One issue is also that the employees' turn over is so quick that once you establish a good relationship with a banker, next month you go in that bank, the banker does not work there any longer and you have to start all over again. Also, today when I called they transferred me to customer service and the recording said 'this toll free number has been disconnected'. So I had to start all over again. Overall, I've been with Wamu, now Chase for more than 10 years and it's the convenience of the locations and free checking that keeps me a customer there, BUT when it comes to customer service, I must say they can improve a lot. Once they do, I am more than happy to write a very nice review.

I live in La Verne and I am banking on three different banks on Foothill blvd all 3 banks are a mile from each other. Bank of America; Wells Fargo Bank and JP Morgan Chase. On several occasions I go to this 3 banks in one day or sometimes just minutes apart. I have my home mortgage with Chase, Wells Fargo have my mortgage on my investment properties and Bank of America has my wife and my joint account. Of all 3 banks Wells Fargo has the best customers service followed by Bank of America. Chase has the worse service. I found there teller very stock up and unfriendly man or women. You can see for yourself and try going to this 3 banks and you will see the difference. Attention: Vice President customer service JP Morgan Chase you need to go to this 3 banks and pretend to be a customer and experience it yourself. On top of it all it is so hard to get a parking in this bank.
