I came to the branch to cash savings bonds, and was told that I could not cash them because I had a temporary license given to me by the DMV to use until my updated license was received in the mail. When I questioned that I am a long-term customer, and they all know me by site, my friend helping me to communicate, was treated with disrespect by the manager. I then went to my other bank and because they know me had no problem cashing my savings bonds. They explained that if they didn’t know me, they could’ve easily just asked me other security questions that would have identified me. Why wouldn’t Avidia bank provide me that courtesy?
