Just found out all military accounts will start paying fees on checks and money orders. Moving all my money to another bank.

Things have really changed at this branch since Maggie has left! Everytime I have to go in or through the drive through I leave thinking I should take my business elsewhere. I have been a loyal USBank customer for over 20 years but leave feeling like they could care less. I have had deposits miscounted, long waits in drive through and barely a hello when I walkn in. Maggie was why I loved this branch and now she is at a different branch!

Wouldn't cash my check even though I have an account

I've been banking with them for years, but when I went to cash my check today they wouldn't cash the entire check said they would only give me 500 and I can get the rest tomorrow. They told me to go where my payroll check is from or to Kmart. I have never had this happen before and I am not happy about it. Maybe it really is time to change banks.

Drive through service

I recently went through the drive through and the service agent, mistakenly did not provide the payment to the correct accounts.  I provided two checks and clearly wrote the different account number only to realize that she had totaled both checks and applies to only one account. I had to call the customer service number to correct this. Perhaps the focus should not be on upselling additional services, but getting service correct the first time. Everytime I visit this branch the agent is more focused on selling me more.

Sitting here waiting to open a new account shouldn't have to wait more than 30 min. For this....wasn't
Smiled at or spoken to when I arrived only person in line...waited 5 min...still no acknowledgement I was even standing there...finally called on..was told I'd have to wait again....hmmmmmmm.....o.p.b. here I come

 For a bank who wants to take care of your money they don't want to very badly. When your doors are not open so that the customer can interact with the cashiers It makes it difficult to do business at your establishment. 5 o'clock closing when the Internet says 530 is really kind of annoying. If my mom didn't Bank there I wouldn't be going in your doors.

kelly in this branch was very nice when i opened my corp account then she closed it without reason she turn very mean  i will never refer this bank

Although the staff at most locations are always friendly and cheerful, they are too laid back and don't really seem to care about your needs and concerns.  However, it is US Bank's horrible fees and rates that really hurt, esp. us seniors.  Every time you have to use their overdraft protection they charge $12 --even if you have only gone over by $2 or $3.  Most other banks would just pay the small amount, esp. if they knowe they will be receiving an automatic deposit soon into your account.  Their fees will soon eat up your entire proceeds. Applies to Brookhurst branch also.   Close your accounts at these big banks before you are eaten alive!

I have to say I always go to this bank because it's closer to where I lived now. And I go in to take out some money at the counter. And I am not banking with this bank what so ever, but the bank that I am banking with allow me to go to U.S. bank to take out money if it's more than max amout. So I went in like usually, then I hand him my id and card, this guy see that my id is not nv but it's ca so he ask the guy next to him if it's was okay and the other one didn't know what to reply, so I explain that I came here Couple of time , I don't have my new Id yet he said He have to called for security and I was like I come here all the time and no one giving me any issue, and he said "well, they don't know what they doing," I was shock. Wow really? So you know what you doing? By asking the person next to you and then he said he doesn't know. Please management team train your employee on these manner and knowledge they need because I have no problem if he wanna check make phone call but if that reply was rude like that I will have to say good bye you have a nice day, and I will make sure none of my friends have us bank ever!  Today is October 2,2015 and it's was around 2:30 incase someone know who's working that day.

manager at Yuba city branch Vanessa is so rude she does not care about customer service at all . looks like she does not know how to keep customer service happy .

Terrible office hours and drive thru. Closes at 4:00 everyday except Friday. How do they expect a person that works to get there before 4:00. Ridiculous.

Huh?  It's opened until 6p.m. but I still hate this branch.  They always seem to be understaffed and have new people.  I make large deposits for a business at the drive-thru. There is rarely anyone there and sometimes I can see the staff just standing around talking and have to wait 2-3 minutes for them to show up. Where do they go anyway when they take the deposit and disappear? There's a computer right there!! Anyway, if you are in a hurry, this isn't the place to go. Very Frustrating. Otherwise, staff is smiley and nice.

I wanted to send $300 to Nigeria. The man was a missionary many in my Christian fellowship knew and some had visited and worked with over the years. U.S. Bank offers money transfers through Western Union, but when I tried to send this missionary $300 I found that it was blocked and returned because Western Union thought it was a scam. Because Western Union blocked the transfer, U.S. Bank decided all my accounts should be closed. There was no discussion to change their view, even though I told them I knew this man for years and trusted him. The fraud department of the bank gave me one option... close all my accounts... immediately. No access to the accounts. No deposits allowed into the accounts. All outstanding checks were returned. It was a financial nightmere for trying to send a friend $300 that was blocked and never sent. Up until this experience I had a good relationship with US Bank personnel at this branch and an excellent credit rating, but it didn't matter. I was forced to close all my accounts. It still leaves a bad taste.I tell my friends about it and encourage them to bailout before it happens to them. I have a new bank and they are glad to have me as a customer.

I will never use US BANK ever again... I can't get any answers to what I need. I really thought this was a bank. Customer service is a joke.

Always one person working the desk. Always a long wait in long lines. Rude phone service. Called in three times to ask for something. Told they were making note. Showed up. Noone had a clue what I needed or that I'd called. The gal at the drive up window is a gem and overworked, but still pleasant.

I waited for 30 minutes in line.  The line was very long and there was only ONE teller active.  This is year end and a busy Friday.  Short-staffing like this may make me switch to PNC or another bank that can staff properly.

I have had numerous issues with my online banking and being locked out.  I have called the online number and then went to the bank.  It is still not resolved.  I also am trying to call my bank and only get a recording.  Why don't people answer the phone? Where are the old days when you spoke to a person and not listened to a recording tell you no one is available on this line?!  I have waited a long time in line often with only one teller working inside and one for drive thru.  No good business.  You are supposed to make life easier not stressful with your customers.

In the past I enjoyed dealing with this branch, the people were friendly and helpful.  However a terrible experience soured my opinion.  A teller got my cash wrong FOUR times in a row - the third time it was $100 short!  When I tried to complain to the manager, I was repeatedly put on endless hold.  When I finally spoke to him, he had a very blase' attitude, saying it was "training issues that needed to be addressed".  Really?  Counting currency is something most grade school children can do accurately.  His "no big deal" attitude really made me feel as if they do not care at all about customer service.  Which is a shame because for years I enjoyed visiting this branch.  I believe that the banks are purposely trying to drive away in-person business to the internet.  This way they can close branches and reap more profits.  Nice work, US Bank.

I recently visited our only full service bank in town with hopes of opening a new account and transferring my funds from a competing bank to one that is closer to my home. Despite having well over $50000.00 to deposit I was questioned about many things that were not only irrelevant to opening a new account but also almost felt as if I was just a bother to her busy day.I have dealt with many of the tellers at this bank in the past and never had any problems until I was introduced to Mel Huber to open a new account. She was short and rude and even had the nerve to ask why I had so much money? None of her business, and thanks to her lack of customer service skills I will never consider using US Bank again.So much for conveinence of having a local bank but I don't need attitude from someone whom makes a living with others money.

I have been banking with the Colfax branch of US Bank for many years.  I have had many occasions to work with Mel Huber and have had nothing but pleasant dealings. She is always smiling, friendly, and professional.  All the girls at the bank are very warm and courteous.  I sincerely enjoy going into the bank to see the nice ladies including Mel Huber.

I had occasion to need personal service and happened to speak with the branch manager about a new credit card. When it didn't arrive after a reasonable amount of time I called and left him a message. When he failed to return my call I called again the next day and again left a message. He still hasn't bothered to return my call.

I will be changing banks just because of this poor service on his part. In the past I have been satisfied with bank service but when it needs a personal touch I expect to be treated with respect.

I went to this branch to make a business wire transfer on 4/21/14 and the Banker said he was too busy and I had to go to another branch. This branch wasn't even busy when I walked in. I was so upset because this was a business transaction.  What a shame I had to go to another branch and I just live down the street. If this happens again I'm closing my personal, business and investment accounts and taking my business somewhere else. This Banker must of had too many eggs for Easter.

I tried to open a plain savings account. I was forced to open a checking account as well. I told the rep I had an active checking account at another bank. Instead of sending me an ATM card, she sent me a checking account card which I cannot use. I finally was able to close the checking account. She gave me a form with info on it to contact my branch by phone, but she never wrote the phone number in the space provided. She promised that $50 would go into my  a/c for opening a savings account. Instead, I received a gift card. Nothing is as promised in this strange branch. Sorry I ever opened an account here. I'm worried that they may make more serious mistakes regarding my account. Avoid doing business with this branch if possible.

I just wanted to point out that normally my experiences with coming to your establishment have been pleasant, but today my experience with a teller named Ning was less than stellar. I walked up to the window with a smile and asked her how she was doing, totally unresponsive, and she was just rude and unfriendly throughout the transaction. Had this been my first experience here, I would have closed up my account and not returned. I know that it is normally not like this when I go there, but I thought you should know that you currently have a very weak link there, and she sure needs work on her customer service skills.

I was one of those who needed to do something with my accounts following the Target data breach of January 2014. In my mind, the solution was to simply assign my existing accounts a new number. That, after all, was the only thing in danger of being known. But the bank decided to totally close both accounts and open new ones.

Nothing has gone right, and I mean nothing. Wrong checks, delays in getting replacement checks, online bill pay "not authorized", you name it, if it could get screwed up, US Bank screwed it up. At this location.
