i had my account with wells fargo for 14 years (business and personal), i recently opened another business account with them, what a mistake.
they use every excuse in the book to hold your funds (up to 20 days), before you open the account it's all smiles and empty promises, after its open - start chasing them for your money.
whatever you do - DO NOT SIGN FOR WELLS FARGO CREDIT CARD MERCHANT ACCOUNT, DO NOT!!!!
they are not cheap (one of the most expansive out there) but the problem is that they will not release the funds to you unless you show them copies of private information (copy of your contract with your client, invoices etc..) if not - you will not get your money, YOU - the "valued customer" now become a suspected thief, serious; i had my client call her credit card company to inform them that she will be making the payment transaction before we ever did it, my money is now held hostage for 10 days - until i will provide them with that private information that they are NOT ENTITLED TO, of course - they have your money and if you want to get paid (remember - my client account was charged 10 days ago) you must degrade your business integrity of client privacy and commit an offense by sharing your clients private information with a 3rd party.
when making a deposit - pray for your funds on time; it always takes having to talk to someone in order to see your money available under a week, this makes me feel like i am dealing with some shady "mafia style" godfather situation...
enough. people stay away from this bank if you know what is good for you and your business.

Called two weeks ago and still haven't returned my call, went to another bank.
Seems there getting worse, may have to switch my business accounts soon

I have been trying to call the bank for a half an hour during their business hours from 9 am to 9 30, no answering machine, no automated choices, the phone just rings and rings and rings, they must be busy reading all of the "wonderful" reviews they get.

Zero stars! Last year we had to withdraw large sum of cash from our account, went to the bank and they said they had no such cash (50,000) on hand and we had to make an appointment to do that. Cool, understandable. We made an appointment which was two week later. Came to our appointment, they told us they had no cash. We waited for 2 weeks and they were not ready to come up with our own money in 2 weeks. We had to sit in the bank for an hour waiting for them calling other branches and scrambling our money together.

There has to be zero starts available to give this bank. Instead of listing all their incompetence in one review, I am going to take my time and write separate review for each. Came to use my safety deposit box (why do I still have the box with this bank? because they required 6 months ahead payment for it, trust me I will run from there as soon as I can, I already switched to BoA) and they did not check my id prior to letting me into the safety deposit vault. Wow! They did not check if I had wells fargo card either, just go ahead!

Came to the bank to use notary services, the paper I needed notarized was in foreign language. Notary refused to notarize it because they can not read it. It is not the job of a notary to know or be responsible for the content of the document, their job is to verify the person's identity who is signing the document. I called Secretary of State (Nevada) who trains notaries ans they verified I was right. People in this bank do not know what they are doing. Go elsewhere.

Wells Fargo is nothing but a den of thieves. Liars and cowards are everywhere. Move your money before they steal it from you. Google Wells Fargo complaints and see the thousands of consumer complaints. Horrible, horrible people. I will ask God every day to curse the people at Wells Fargo that I have dealt with. There is a special rung in hell for Wells Fargo people I have no doubt. Big bad branch manager, congratulations on your b in finance 101 that landed you a job at one of the most corrupt national banks in the country. What a sad and pathetic person to are in the middle o no where mississippi. Good luck with you miserable life making barely over min. wage. I bet your wife is screwing around on you too. Pathetic coward of a man.

Worst bank, worst customer service...  We paid off a second mortgage many years ago.  Wells Fargo mismanaged the paperwork many times, year after year...  The loan is paid off but the account is still "open".  I went to the branch 4 times, called the customer service center many times... and the issue has not resolved yet.

The lady at the drive-through, no name tag on and no name in the window, must have licked her fingers 10 times while counting out my money, picking up the deposit slip, picking up the envelope to put my money in . . . all during the worst flu season on record.  I was totally repulsed by her actions.  To top everything off, all the bills she gave back to me were turned in different directions, some up-side-down and totally out of order.  No work ethics at this branch.  I will not return.

Wells Fargo Cumberland Mall Location, Atlanta Ga. I was disrespected, ignored and embarrassed by non-other than the Store Manager Mr. Brian Coonfield treated me as if I had no business doing business in their bank. My issue began with their unskilled bank tellers, who obviously lack competent deductive reasoning skills, their only answer was ask the store manager...which he heard and saw because they pointed to him while referencing him. Instead of him me the common courtesy of addressing my issue, he quickly disappeared into his office. Even the cashier noticed it. I waited outside his office, when he finally emerged I said excuse me and he loudly said "in a minute" and held his finger up quickly walking past me. Everyone in the bank heard it, I was thoroughly embarrassed. I started to walk out in shame, then I thought if he treats me like this , how many others has he done the same? Well, the buck stops here!! When he finally arrived, he didn't even address me, he just stood there looking at me with disdain and disguist. I have several business accounts with Wells Fargo and have a great relationship with my Business Banker. If it were not for him, I would probably close this account just so I never have to see Mr. Coonfield ever again. Nevertheless, I merely asked Mr. Coonfield for his card to make a complaint, he quickly gave me his card and walked away. Obviously my business is not important enough to Mr. Coonfield, to grant me the common decency that humans should give to each other, nevermind that I have been a loyal customer of this bank for over 13 years. My advice to anyone who reads this letter, if you are of African American decent avoid Wells Fargo at Cumberland location at all cost!!!!!!! Especially Mr. Coonfield!!!

Consumer/Customer wanted to know if they would have to write to corporate if they were not able to come in. This could be due to any personal reason such a medical or religion practices .It is a legitimize question. Daisy, banker, after being asked this question instantly transferred the next call she received to her manager instead dealing with consumer directly. She opened the customer's account making this very unprofessional and setting a bad impression. Lacks basic courtesy for consumer and respect needed to work in this business. Did not ask consumer first if she wanted to speak to manager. Not professional. Avoid this branch! They ask you with a forced smile if you are 100 percent satisfied but their employees need to take a good honest look (reassess their own dealings and be fair) at their actions and attitude first. Don't work in consumer service industry if you are going to retaliate and have a bad attitude!

due to their confusing rules about how to avoid fees i decided to close my account, apparently this didnt go well with rude manager laure brote or her croonie jeanne clutter at the branch at 2333 eat main st, snellville ga 30078 as took my customized debit card that had my picture on it, cut it up and threw it back in my face! dont let a bank manage your money that hires evil unstable employees!

The downtown branch of Wells Fargo 'lost' my paycheck around Christmas time. As a result, my wife and I were without food, and functionally missed the Christmas-celebration as a result. While customer service manager Deborah Kurz made every effort to feign concern, ultimately she was unable to provide with me any information as to her branches gross-mismanagement and negligent disregard for sensible banking practices. No information was provided to me as to why my paycheck had been lost, and Wells Fargo has not been forthright in the least in providing information that they are required--by law, to provide.

Instead of admitting fault, Wells Fargo management and Deborah Kurz have tried to defer blame time and again; yet time and again they have been unable to provide me with even the most basic information. I have requested a full-accounting for my lost paycheck over Christmas, as well as a full-accounting of the legal rationale for Wells Fargo's inconsistent policies pertaining to the handling of paychecks and holds placed on them.

Deborah Kurz might give serious consideration to growing up and taking honest responsibility for the gross managerial incompetence of her branch. Instead of subtly manipulating your customers to defer responsibility from yourself--or subtly avoiding customers, why doesn't Wells Fargo try treating their customers with involvement, concern and honesty. In spite of the fact that they ruined our Christmas, I treated them and their branch with kindness and respect. So far as 'giving them credit,' they will receive due credit from me 'the customer,' when they actually perform their job with competence and dignity.

UNPROFESSIONAL & DISCOURTEOUS BEHAVIOUR OF PERSONNEL IN WELLS FARGO BRANCH

I have been a customer with Wachovia Bank for the last 10 years, with a checking account & safe deposit locker. We have opened the account in Gunn Highway, Tampa branch and subsequently shifted to Riverview about 3 years back as we moved here. As long as the Banking was with Wachovia, it was very good with a nice customer service, courteous staff, etc. After it has changed to Wells Fargo, it became very uncustomerly & discourteous in the branch here at US Highway 301 branch, particularly on weekends.
Recently I had been to the branch to operate my safe deposit locker, on a Saturday and had to experience a very nasty experienc. There are no more personnel to greet the customers when they walk into the branch. After I saw the personnel banker - Jason, I have informed him that I came to operate my safe deposit locker. I was informed that he has an appointment and will help in 10 to 15 mts. He suggested that the other personal banker - James can help me. I have waited standing to notice that Jason has received his expected appointment customer after about 15 mts. and has entered his room with her in closed door meeting. I have wondered if within that period Jason could have helped me to open my safe deposit locker and finish my operation which will be hardly for a couple of minutes. But as I was told I waited for James, the other personal banker to help me.
After sometime James has approached me and enquired what he can help me. I have told him that I have to operate my safe deposit locker, for which he told that he has no access to safe deposit lockers and I have to wait for Jason. I was very upset for this, because when I very specifically told Jason that I have to operate my safe deposit locker, the moment I walked into the bank, he didnot tell me that he is the only one who has access to safe deposit locker and I have to wait for him, instead he advised me that James can help as he has his appointment with another customer. Now after I have waited for about half an hour, the other personal banker - James is informimg me that I have to wait for Jason, who is inside his room with another customer. I was very deliberately misled and made to wait for almost about an hour for Jason, who opened the locker so that I can operate. I was very frustrated, postponing all my other work & schedules, just to wait for Jason so that I can operate my safe deposit locker, which is hardly about 5 mts. work.
At no point I was offered an apology or any courteous word by either Jason or Jmaes, for wasting my time & upsetting my schedules. I have never ever meted this kind of very unprofessional & discourteous treatment from my bank, for the last almost 10 years since I have opened the accounts. The personal banker - Mr. David at Gunn Highway. Tampa barnch used to be very friendly & courteous helping in all my banking needs. Again when we moved to Riverview about 3 years back soem of the managers whom we met - Ms. Meredith were very friendly & helpful in our shifting from Tampa to Riverview branches in Wachovia & also in subsequent transition to Wells Fargo. But these two personal bankers are the most unprofessional, discourteous personnel I have ever met in Wachovia or Wells Fargo, and for that matter in any of my Banking experience, as my main Banker being Bank of America with which we have all our baking including our children for the last 13 years.
In the current comepetetive hard times, financial institutions like banks cannot afford to have this type incidents happening to their old loyal customers and they cannot afford to have such unprofessional personnel like Jason & James.

I go to the location in Surprise, AZ on Reems & Waddell. I have visited other locations (like the on up the street in Fry's store) but have never been treated as well as at this location. I am always greated with a smile everytime i walk in, the manager even knows me by name. the tellers are great and the banker that helps is always informative. This is the best bank in the world.

I went toady to get my document Notorized, first the lady who greeted us at the door was doing only because she hadd to. I asked her where would I notorize my document and she asked me to have a seat in horrible and arrogant way.

so I went and waited and then when she finally came to notorize my paper,she sat me down said hello how are you from the tip of her nose, and then she looked at my document and said that my document had a photo on it and that their policy had changed andd she couldn't do it for me, I told her I have done this many times at wellsfargo, she said sorry we don't, with bad grin onn her face,telling me that the post office is where to those, I went all the way to the post office only to know that the post office doesn't do them, waisting my whole day, to find out AT THE end that they DO NOTORIZE my kind of document even though it had a photo on it, it was only for identification purpouses for an exam.

The person who did notorize it for me went through the trouble of calling their Hotline, but she wasn't in the mood to do so I guess. on the contrary she insisted on her so wrong opinion of not notorizing it, not knowing it for sure!.

Personally this is the FIRST time ever in a wellsfargo bank I get treated so bad, which was a shocker to me today.
SHE SHOULDN'T BE WORKING AT A BANK ASPECIALLY WITH HER BAD MOOD AND unacceptable costumer service ATTITUDE, giving the bank a bad reputation like that.

That is the last time I will ever visit that site.

Teller transferred my money incorrectly to the wrong person and I complained to service manager who blamed me instead. Very unprofessional service manager who raised her voice at me and told me I can complain all I want but she cant help me.
Didn't apologize for the inconvenience and I have to wait 5-10 business days for them to get me my money back.
I recommend you bank somewhere else.

We used to love this location service and kept a pretty large amount of $ for years with South Trust and Wachovia until Wells Fargo took over.  I asked to void a few fees ( we have never asked to pay any fees with other banks for years!) at Trace Crossing office.  A super friendly young teller told me that he had to ask his boss and call me back by the next day.  I called this office a few days later, but he was not available gone for lunch and never called me back.  Well, it was about only $20 fees, but I closed my account and brought my funds to my current bank ( no fees and easy to deal with).  A few days later, somebody, branch manager or whoever left me a message at home to ask if something was wrong...too late!  Good bye!

Outrageous and ridiculous bank fees! Always charging you for every little thing even a question!  Interest rates suck! The tellers hate their job and are always trying to get you to open multiple accounts by saying "oh do you do online shopping". Nothing is free at welks fargo! They take your money every way possible! Very rude customer service when you call! Fees are beyond high!
