Wells Fargo as a chain is the WORST bank you could ever use. After the incompetent tellers had repeatedly screwed up my transactions, i'm charged multiple overdraft fees and the manager over the phone says, "well i'm sorry you can't see it, we can't see it, so we gave you the money and then overdrafted you" -THREE TIMES. Not only that but this was after a teller had recently given me 300 extra dollars when cashing a check and as a good Samaritan I RETURNED IT. Apparently i'm supposed to be a good human being but they don't have to take responsibility for their screw-ups. WORST. I am closing my account and will NEVER bank with them again.

Rama Shaknkar is one of the two reasons I am closing my accounts with Wells Fargo & the drive thru guy. Wells Fargo does not treat ppl like their own customers! they make transactions so inconvenient! DO NOT USE WELLS FARGO Save your time & energy. They don't care about you

This bank has the absolute worst staff mind one or two tellers I have ever witnessed. I have been an account holder since 1996 when it was a different bank name.  Never in my life have I considered changing banks as often until I walked into this branch.  There are 6-7 people running around behind the counter only 1 maybe 2 tellers are actually dealing with costumers standing present in the facility, seems like a poor model, really makes them look like their not doing their job. I say this because if your doing inner office work, why not do that in your inner offices not behind the counter, and why are there always like 3 people standing at one terminal and not helping customers, it's horrible to stand in their and watch them stutter around. Half the time their systems are conveniently down at lunch time with a billion people on line.  Their staff rotates constantly, so you never build a good working relationship with anyone in the building. A service you may have been provided by one teller for a month may suddenly be denied by another teller a few weeks later, the rules change constantly there.  At one point they said they couldn't cash my ADP payroll work checks there to me, I looked at them like they were crazy. Their service is embarrassing and it makes me nervous to trust handing off my hard worked money to a bunch of lost tellers. That bank needs all new employees starting from the big lazy managers to the badly trained tellers.

i walked in the bank at 3:45 with a huge amount of money written on checks from wells fargo, the cuctomer service person hemmed and hawed until my deposits were not put in until after 4 i was told my funds would be available at 12:01 am...WELL it is 8 am and they are NOT available. THIS is truly a horrible bank, i knew i did not like this bank as they had charged me to cash checks in the past and a friend i went on a trip with had issues getting money out because they want to hold on to peoples money longer than necessary. THINK TWICE ABOUT WELLS FARGO!

this branch 110% sucks. They would not cash my check because of my I.D. a ID that was issued to me via DMV. So I was told that I needed to go to my bank and cash it cash they woulnt do it because of my ID. This is the kind of BS stuff that goes on with them and why I left Wellsfargo years ago.

Great people at this bank location.  Always remember my name and have a friendly attitude.  Office is kept neat and clean, always inviting.  Rarely have to wait more than a few minutes to see an account manager or teller.  If the wait will go longer, I am always acknowledged and asked if there is anything I need...very supportive and amicable.  The only downside I found was too few hours on Saturday; 9-12 could be 9-1, a four-hour day.

I used to have an account here back in the day before transferring my bank account to another bank. This bank has horrible customer service is solely based on the foot traffic from the highway and they give the other Bank in town a horrible reputation based on their service. Wells Fargo Bank on State Street truly understand customer service and they greet every customer by name and if you had to choose a better location I would say go to State Street.

My elderly mom recently opened an account at the Emerald Hills branch in Hollywood, Fl.  We were assisted by Yuriem, a lovely young lady. She was extremely patient with my Mom who is not very good at computers, passwords and such things, but with Yuriem's help she was able to open her new account. She even called at home to make sure my Mom received her new debit card e.t.c. I would recommend this bank and this employee. This was on a Saturday,taken care of very quickly also.

My husband was sick so his boss went to deposit his check.  she had a deposit slip. The teller was rude and then messed up the deposit, putting it in once and taking it out again. Then the teller put it in again.  To top it off, the teller put a hold on the check.  We get a check every month from his work and never before did it need a hold.  Not to mention that there is enough in my savings to cover the check.  The CD's alone would cover it 10 times over.  I am not happy!  I will be going in to raise hell in more than one branch tomorrow.

I was lied by General Manger and other employee about CD rates and bank fees. They took my money without providing complete info about accounts. On top they lied about credit card rewards and signed me up for CC protection that I never requested or had desire to have. On top of CD they opened multiple accounts that I never wanted and I bet no fees was a lie. All they want is to get your money and charge as much as possible. I'm in the process of taking my money back. Worst bank experience ever. Wells Fargo in Linden NJ 07036

It really doesn't matter what personal banker we visit, we are always taken care of efficiently.  Of course, Jenna and Tristan have been our favorite.  They quickly handle the problem and follow up to make sure we are satisfied.

Personal banker, Jordan Nesbitt, met my every need when I was going through a difficult time. He was sympathetic AND professional all the way through the ordeal.  He followed up with phone calls to make sure everything was all right, both personally and professionally.  I can't say enough about him and the way he treated me and handled my banking business!

The Dunn Ave Wellsfargo location is very ghetto,  the staff gets a F Rating. I've visited twice regarding a loan that I was approved for. After not receiving a return call after 3-day I called a supervisor, never received a calls rom the banker. I'm closing all my accounts including business.

If I could rate this place a zero, I would.  The customer service at this organization is absolutely terrible. The tellers are absolutely rude as soon as you walk into the branch.  If you have a concern regarding your banking needs and call by phone, you might as well talk to the wall.  I got hung up on by a teller because I said this is asinine and she thought I was cussing her.  I signed a form that would allow wire transfers from our phone and they could not do this because I had to go in person (makes perfect sense that I can wire transfer when I the account holder authorized the information).  I would never go back and bank with Wells Fargo ever again.  They are a terrible bank and the people at these facilities are terrible individuals.

Worst Customer Service!

I can't believe how poorly I have been treated at this branch!! Once a week I use thus branch to order change for the business I work at. On several occasions it was clear that the teller had no clue how to efficiently do his/her job. I recently went here on the usual business, but was also curious about opening an account for myself. As I entered, I held the door for another customer. She was better dressed than I, and as we entered, she was greeted warmly, I got barely a glance. She stood behind me in line, and when it was my turn the teller looked right past me and asked her to step right up. She insisted I was first, and only then did the teller give me a first look. Might I add that he recoiled as though I were covered in filth and rolled his eyes as he 'invited' me to the counter. My transaction was short, but throughout it was blatantly clear that he had better things to do. Needless to say, I am now repulsed by the idea of opening an account with them! Last week I witnessed a female teller very poorly handle a transaction in which there was a language barrier and as the frustrated customers walked away, not having resolved the issue with their account, the teller turned to the manager and they proceeded to talk **** about them! Today was the last straw. I attempted to make change, and as the employee was finishing up my order his manager walked up and informed me that I would be  charged  unless I opened an account, rather than inviting me to open one. Screw this place, I'll take my business elsewhere.

Marie, the Manager of that branch has been an asset to my Mom and I. She is always willing to go above and exceed expectations. We have a great relationship with her and your branch.

I stood at the teller for AT LEAST 45 minutes.  Their stay is all new and ever changing.  This must be one of the worth branches.  While I was waiting that long, there was a guy next to me was there before I was and was still waiting after I had left!  When I came back later to make a quick deposit, I saw he was still there waiting.  He told me "its easy putting 10 years of savings in but try and it all out at once and they'll give you hell."  Poor guy, he was cute too.

What Did She Mean by That?

Yesterday I went into this branch to make a quick deposit. I will note that this is not my usual location. I grabbed a deposit slip, filled it out and proceeded through the line. When I got to the counter, **** said, "I can take you over here." I let her know I wanted to cash and deposit two checks so they would show up immediately. She replies, "OK, IF YOUR ACCOUNT WILL LET YOU."  I answered back with, "what do you mean?" She stated, "well it depends on what type of  account you have and how much is in it." WHOA!!!!! At this point I felt very offended. Why would you make such a comment when I have to swipe my ATM card for one, which means I have a checking account, and for two, you will also be able to see exactly how much money I have in the account?
I let her finish the transaction, said thank you and on the way out, asked a consultant who the manager was of this branch. I could not believe the lack of customer service or really just lack of manners. I called back to the branch and asked for the manager by name. I was told she was in a meeting and insisted she could help. I explained to her that  I had been a customer for over 10 years and I never heard such a comment, and it made me feel uncomfortable. She replied, "Well we cant see if you have been a customer with us for 10 years or three months." Did she really just add upset to injury? "I will coach her on this matter." I said alright and thank you, but I only felt worse.
It should not matter if you see someone on a regular basis or not to show COMMON COURTESY. I thought that was a part of the Wells Fargo motto.

Considering this bank corporation has the worst rep, it shows, there's usually under staffed and completely rude, for my to do one 300$ deposit it's a average wait time of 25 mins lol, if I come in for change they yell at me for not calling in a day ahead to make the order lol your a bank do your job, several times iv had to return bc they give me more money then I gave them in change, iv seen 2 employes fired for this and there lucky in a honest person bc both times they gave me over 300$ in cash when I only need 100 lol.

When you sign up for any services at this bank, please watch your account carefully.  I have had two terrible experices within the last six months. First I got a home equity line of credit from Wells Fargo and my wife and I specifically told them to do an automatic deduction out of her checking account.  The next month I noticed my checking account was overdrawn and couldn't understand why.  Yes, you guessed instead of taking it out of my wife's account they took it out of mine.  This, after signing all the appropriate paperwork and giving them my wife's account number.  Had to make a special trip to the bank and spend almost 40 minutes there to straighten it out.  Next, I was talked into opening a "Premier Checking Account" because the banker told me all the benifits I  could receive from it.  He assured me that all fees would be waived and it would cost me nothing.  This was the only reason that I agreed to to open the account.  Well, needless to say, when I checked my on-line account information I noticed a -$30.00 on that account.  When I opened the details of the account, I noticed that I was being charged a $30.00 monthly fee.  Well I called the bank and they looked at their records and said that indeed I should not have been charged a fee and they would tranfer me to the PMA account section.  When I spoke to the PMA office the representative told me that I had to keep this crazy high amount in this account to have the fee waived.  I told him what the Wells Fargo Rep told me about the fees and his response was that that Rep. didn't work for the PMA section.  He said he could waive half the fees.  I was livid.  NO!  I don't want to pay any fees because I would not have signed up for the account if I know there were any fees.  After about 20 seconds of silence he finally said that he could waive the whole fee but he would have to close the account.  Fine with me, because I didn't need it anyway.  After that, I called my Branch at Geary and Arguillo to ask if I could speak to the person who set up the account.  They said I would have to come to the branch to determine who that was.  Really? You can't pull up my account to determine who the rep was?  I then asked can I talk to someone in general about my account.  No, they don't give any information about the accounts over the phone.  Needless to say, I am seriously thinking about changing my bank.  All the happy talk and smiles you get when you enter that bank seems to be just a smokescreen for incompetance.  I am totally through with them.

I've been going here for 8 years+ and I've never had a problem with them.
Oviously the only people who wrote reviews are the ones with a bad experience because they are the problem to begin with.
 Great staff, friendly and always knolageable about what's going on and how to help us customers. They have helped me when other banks haven't.
This bank deserves 6 stars if possible. Go check em out for your self I'm possitve they will be the wellsfago you go to.

I've been banking here for years.  I started with this branch when it was still First Union.  When it merged with Wachovia I thought they did a super job transitioning.  Now that it's Wells Fargo, I'm still impressed with the tellers / manager but I am not so happy with Wells Fargo.  I think it's inferior to Wachovia and the services they offer do not appear to be inferior.  Still, I am not switching to another bank.  I really appreciate the smiles, attention and overall service the employees provide. Plus they know my name which I also appreciate.
