Horrible, horrible, horrible!
Longest wait time, ALWAYS an incredibly long line.
Most, not all, tellers have an attitude.
They don't utilize their personnel well, hence the l-o-n-g line.
This is a management issue.
Worst WF I've ever been in.
Save yourself the grief, go to another branch.

Notice the plaque behind the tellers: "We have one very powerful business rule. It is concentrated in one word: courtesy"- Henry Wells 1864. I say the courtesy and service we received on 12/28/12 died when he did. First, visiting here from florida we stop in to get a copy of our statement for the nursing home where my mother is after a stroke (by the way we had power of attorney. After 20 minutes of waiting they can not give us the information but will email it to the nursing home. While waiting, I stp next door to Citizens Bank for statements copies for the same purpose. Upon returning , which only took 7 minutes( we actually needed 6 copies instead of 1). My pregnant daughter of 6 months ask " can you do me a favor, I need to use the rest room" Tell me, how do you look a customer in her face and say " we don't have public facilities". And now I'm trying to followup with the letter being emailed to the nursing home and no one's answering the phone 215-885-4302. Really people, we have been with Wells Fargo since they bought out Wachovia. So glad I bank with Florida Bank real customer service people. Thanks for giving me a reason to remove my money and get an extra $25.00 for referral.

I have banked here for 20 years.  After they started charging all these fees to keep my money in their bank I switched to a Credit Union.  I'm finding that a lot of people are doing this.  Too bad by the time they realize this was a bad move it will be too late.  I will never go back!

I went in to make a deposit on December 21st, 2012th 4:43PM.  I went to the open teller who was at the seated wheelchair window.  She was a lovely young gal. Yuliya.  I sat down and immediately told her I had a voice disability and told her I hope she can understand me when I speak.  Suddenly the male teller (Alex?) who was assisting a blond headed woman in her late 50's spoke to me over the divider wall.  He interrupted me as I was directly speaking with MY teller.  He said "My Precious" directly to me and laughed.  I looked up at him and said "excuse me?" .  He then followed with more laughter and said, "you know, Lord of the Rings".  He was making fun of my voice, Robert. Yes...I do sound like Gollum.  It was very embarrassing and extremely cruel.  I immediately told him (with utmost kindness and respect to keep from embarrassing him) that I had a voice disorder called Spasmodic Dysphonia and it was very difficult for me to talk.  I also told him that it was not polite for him to make fun of me.  He told me his name and said he was sorry and that I completely miss-understood.  What was there to misunderstand? I sat back down to finish my interrupted private bank transaction with my teller and began to cry.  The manager was walking around and heard the incident, but never came over to address the situation.  Once my transaction was complete, I stood back up and reached out to touch the guys arm in kindness and in a way to console him and to ask him to think twice before he makes fun of someone.  I also asked him to try going a day with a funny voice like mine and attempt to order a coffee at Starbucks, go to the store, a drive through and to his bank and see how difficult it is.  I told him that he need to have compassion for those with a disability.  I then left.  I was embarrassed, hurt and extremely sad that he chose to not only interrupt my banking transaction to be mean and cruel, but he also had the audacity to say I misunderstood.  YES...I do sound very much like Gollum from Lord of the Rings.  I do NOT need a perfect stranger in a professional banking setting to interrupt a private and personal transaction to make fun of me.

I am certain every beat of the incident was video tapped.  His speaking to me, my tears and my reaching out to him in kindness to direct him to think twice before speaking.  I have told several people about what happened that day.  Most are telling me to sue.  Get him fired.  Make a big "to do". The more I think about it, the more angry I become.   But what I would rather see is the staff to be trained on ALL disabilities.  Not just deaf, blind or a physical, but a speech impairment is just as traumatic to live with.  I have been wanting to make a documentary of a day in my life with Spasmodic Dysphonia.  It is very difficult to do the most simple day to day tasks that we all take for granted.  I am laughed a lot by adults.  In fact, that morning, the gal at the Starbucks in Ellensberg, WA imitated my voice as she repeated my order back to me.  It was hurtful, but not nearly as brazen as the guy at the bank who was deliberately interrupting me to make fun of me. I sometimes make fun of myself.  But I never welcome this from a stranger.  Poor POOR customer service.  RUDE.  This is not my regular branch BTW...My branch is WONDERFUL...WALLINGFORD!!!  They rock!

I agree with descriptions from others about other branches.  It must be systemic.  All a bunch of very immature kids who talk too much and don't know what they are doing.  Whenever there is an issue (after all the time wasting) then they have to get "permission" or "talk to the manager" who is usually chit chatting with one of the others.  This takes forever to get one of them out and then they never fix anything.  They simple come, waste more time, read the screen which says exactly what it did when the "teller" was there, and then I leave.  They have been wanting to hold "escrow" checks which are good as gold, from local banks for a week.  Really???  I am closing my account and never looking back.  It's too bad.  Used to be an awesome bank.

They fired all of the tenured bankers and hired a bunch of their little "friends" who are immature. They joke, laugh, talk about the weather, give you candy like you are a kid at a doctors office, waste time..they need to just do their jobs. Wrong deposits, wrong change back...unreal. Whoever is the manager should be fired. He is not training these people properly !!!! This is a business not a social visit. The one on West gray is just as bad.

On October 18, 2013 I was at the Wells Fargo Bank in at 2801 Kirby, Houston, Texas. A teller was having a personal conversation with a customer well after the transaction had ended, leaving me to continue to stand there in line as if I didn't matter. To make matters worse when the customer walked away, the teller continued to have the conversation across the lobby floor.  The tellers there are not professional, they laugh, joke and carry on and have no regard for the business at hand. I tried for three days to speak with the manager at that site, but my phone calls were not returned or if I would drop by, I was told he just left. They wanted me to open an account there, really?

I have been banking with Wells Fargo since 1998. I have stayed with them because their employees have always been very professional....until today, their store manager, Sherine, is probably the most unprofessional Wells Fargo employee I have ever come across. Just to give you an idea, while I sat and waited to be helped, she was busier telling one of her employees to go back to Starbucks and return her drink becuase she did not like it. Felt terrible for the teller as he was trying to explain he was embarresed to do so. Later on, I called in becuase the banker that assited me gave me the incorrect information. Sherine answered the phone and was not only unprofessional and unhelpful but also so rude! What happened to the customer service Wells Fargo strives so hard provide their customers? I guess they are too busy worrying about their Starbucks not tasting "right" as she described it earlier.

I used to have a business account with Wachovia Bank.  Once they were taken over by Wells the banking experience has gone to sh^t.  Wells Fargo is NOT a customer oriented bank.  They are a self-serving bank among the other self-serving, McDonald's banks, Chase, Bank Of America and Capital One.  I once deposited money into my personal account, kept my receipt.  Sure enough, the money never went in and even though I had my receipt, they argued with me about giving me temporary credit until they did research.  What nerve!!  I put money in my account and with the receipt in hand, they still aggravated me to no end.

Do yourself a favor and keep your hard earned money in a safe before using Wells.  This banks sucks to the highest degree.  All the branches are the same.  Just like all the McDonald's restaurants are the same.  ZERO PERSONAL SERVICE!

i was victim & customer. but Supervisor Valerie & customer-rep. Samantha both COLD, RUDE & UNHELPFUL! Ms Valerie is worse! no greetings from either. Ms Valerie never looked at me as i sat across the desk and said nothing walking in. they spoke to each other, ignored me; no explaination of what we were doing.

At the end, Ms Valerie spoke "at" me condescending, rude interrupting, loud and argumentative. (i'm trying to recover. criminals had stolen my ID and tried to rob my account. these two bankers were suppose to be helping me! but treats me like the criminal.)

after 2months frozen from my own account, neither Ms Valerie nor Samantha knew how to remove the hold.  Together they called corporate for play-by-play help. (yet they badgered me for 2-months that "ONLY" Valerie could remove the hold... she didnt even know how!) between oct-dec 2012, Valerie went on vacation TWICE, for 2weeks each. She told me i must wait her return to get into my own account-money (or come in today, the last day).

After almost 2hrs, at 545pm Friday, neither would make my deposits, nor give me a new account #, nor remove fees accummulated "after" closed account, nor issue new checks. They sent me to stand in line to make my deposits; knowing i wasn't feeling well. the line wrapped around 3-1/2 times.  i walked-in feeling stressed and walked out with a high fever & very ill.

Valerie THE WORST! Samantha terrible and not far behind.

You are making the biggest mistake of your life setting foot in this bank. They are there to smile and take your money and NOTHING more. I recently had a banking issue I tried to resolve there and they basically said sorry about your bad luck. I had to go to the Gaithersburg Md. branch where they were more than happy to and very efficient in helping me resolve it. This location would be better served as a 7-11.

Wells Fargo Charges Excessive Hidden Fees (Up To 25%) to Traveling Small Business Owners

by jroseland, Dec. 08, 2012

I'm personally insulted and financially hurt by the negligence of the employees at the Aurora Hampden branch, Manager Joshua Collins.
Warning small business owners: If you use your Wells Fargo business account while traveling you will be charged excessive ATM fees, up to 25% of the ATM withdrawal amount you make. Wells Fargo maintains a policy of penalizing small business owners who choose to use their ATM card while traveling abroad.

I opened an account in 2012 at the Hampden-Quincy Aurora Branch of Wells Fargo, during the account opening process I informed my banker that I was going to be traveling in central America for at least 90 days, my banker neglected to inform me that I would be charged extra fees. While traveling, I had limited internet access but when I did check my account online, I discovered to my dismay that I was being charged sharply for both usage of ATM and any merchant transactions. The fees cost me anywhere from 10% - 25% each time I made a withdrawal.

The real mistake here is that even though I informed my banker repeatedly upon account opening that I would be traveling abroad, they did not tell me about these excessive fees. I called the branch and explained to the branch manager, Joshua, that I was being charged excessive fees and that there was a customer service mistake made upon account opening. This is what happened over the course of the call:
He had worked for the bank for 8 years and the bank's policy was to charge fees and never work with or give personal consideration to customer circumstances.
Despite the customer mistake made he made no effort to do anything to help me or to appologize.
He didn't ask me any questions about when my account had been opened, or by whom or how I was using it.
Made no effort to extend me services that might actually help me as the customer of the bank.
He took no steps to verify my account ownership.
I operate a marketing firm in the Denver area and have over 100 clients, I intend to inform them all and any other small business owners in my circle of influence of Wells Fargo's policy of charging steep fees to small business owners who travel. I think it's really sad that the managers of Wells Fargo, are much more committed to charging small business account owners fees than they are to doing the right thing or informing account holders of relevant policies at the time of account opening.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Roseland

I cannot believe you close your banks on Sat When all through the years your bank I have been banking with have closed on Saturdays. Some people get paid on Friday get out late it would be a Great thing if you want better coverage on how I feel about this that your closed on Sat, I have been with your bank over 14 years now, Your bank was always open on Saturdays, I do not think this is Good Business for your bank and This is something I am NOT Happy about. I am sure so many Others are not happy & I know of 10 people I put into your bank that closed there accounts due to that fact that your closed on Saturdays. Due to the Fact that I have been a Member of Your bank So long without having a check bounce I have Never been asked to get a Credit card or as many times As I have asked for one never got it. I have many too. Even with Capital one. I am sad that Your bank has treated me so sad for someone who has been such a good person to your bank and So Faithful.

A bank that falls in the shadow of Wachovia. This bank that is called wells fargo is complete junk and if your unlucky to fall into the scams they will get you quick. Fargo has been in trouble before with the same crap I got into one to many times. I made a cash deposit at the Holly Springs location and have been told before and it is common sense that cash deposits made at the bank are "instant". I had $13 in my account and needed to cover some checks that I was going to have cashed the same day. At 11AM I went to the Holly Spings branch Wells Fargo and made a cash deposit of 340. I went ahead and told my friend to go ahead and cash the check I gave her for 327. Not knowing the Jerks at the bank placed my deposit of 340 CASH as pending and went ahead and pulled the 327 out and then had the nerve to charge me a overdraft fee. When I called them at the Holly Springs bank and wanted answers I got the run around for half and hour and no direct answers. I didn't know that instant cash deposit take longer to hit the bank account then a check being cashed. THEN I went to check my online account and it shows all THREE (3) Transactions as PENDING!?!?!! So why was  a cash deposit put on hold in the first place? Why was I charged a overdraft fee for a check that was cashed at a generic bank at wal-mart and was cleared before my cash deposit that was made at the bank itself? Why was the cash deposit made at 11am not posted to the account and checks cashed in a different county at a wal-mart at noon posted first? AND why was charged a overdraft fee for pending charges when the money was deposited first?
I don't care what any one says, if you walk into a bank and hand them your money, that money should be in your account as soon as they put their greasy hands on it and put it into their cash drawer. Not pending. ALSO pending is just that "pending" Shouldn't be charged for that especially when I put the money in a hour earlier.

I brought them the receipt from the ATM, had my friend fax me copies of their receipt from the Wal-Mart, just to show them the time difference. When asking them to undue their wronging they pretty much laughed, I guess stupid people that work at banks don't have to go to school for accounting to work at a dump like wells fargo. I didn't go to school for accounting and even I know if you gave me money in my hand and then cashed a check a hour later I wouldn't charge you a fee for not having any money...correct?

I was with Wachovia for a very long time never had any problems. Since being grandfathered over to WF I have had nothing but headaches and this was the straw that broke the camels back.

First they LOST my state income tax check and WOULD not for the life of me tell me where they would have sent it or what to do.
Couldn't cash checks in the past because a moron spelled my name wrong on the account at first (adding a h to my first name and a k at the end of my last name) took almost a week to clear that up.
There online banking is USELESS and is not "100% accurate" exact words from a jerk at the headquarters in la-la land California. If I wanted to keep a check book and a ledger again I would just scrap my computer and right with a feather pen in the candle light. Sorry I don't travel horse and buggy with a Wells Fargo Shot Gun. Why don't they change their logo to something more modern anyways?
And countless amounts of times they clear check before they would post cash deposits. makes no sense to me.

Can't trust a bank that has been in trouble in the past nor can you trust a bank that took a bail out from the federal government.

Wish I could give 0 stars. 0 Stars 2 Thumbs down.
Should have run and never looked back when they bought out Wachovia.
Suggest anyone think of banking with the to do the same. I would go back to fithandthird before I bank with wells fargo anymore.

I have banked with Wells Fargo for years and never have been treated so badly as I have at the Mission Valley Branch. I needed someone to help me with a problem that I was having with my account and no one who offer me any help. They just kept referring (blowing me off) from person to person. The manager wouldn't even talk to me. If you want to handle business I suggest you go some place else.

Poor management and terrible customer service. Cashiers have bad attitudes, (Ronnetta) always looks like she  doesnt want to be there, then when I asked her for extra validation because I had been in line so long, she said, sorry we cant, when I told her I didnt want to have to be stressed or come back if its not enough she said "you werent in line that long" and wouldnt give me a  validation to cover the time! Long lines and passive agressive cashiers...really unpleasant.
So much for the complimentary cappucinos, why not just make sure your customers feel welcome with a smile and not hassled when they need parking validated!

I have no idea what has happened to this branch, but in the last 6 months it has become the worst I have ever dealt with. You only ever find 1 teller working at once, the rest are either talking to each other or finding other ways to avoid you. And if you ever eed to discuss business privately, good luck with that. There are always queues and only 1 person again meeting you. The customer service is shocking here, and I have had enough. I have closed, or at least I am trying to close, having been to the branch 4 times this week to do so but still have not seen anyone, 7 accounts in total. I tried closing them over the phone too and i may as well have been talking to my foot, I got that much sense out of the person who eventually answered the phone. If I were responsible for this branch I would be very worried about the reviews on this page, and ask myself why a branch that until recently was so efficient, friendly, and well thought of, has suddenly become this bad, so quickly. I will not be back, but other customers would surely appreciate some answers.
