Let me start off by saying that banking with regions was never my option. I was banking with Union Planters out of Indiana when their were purchased by Regions. Ive had way too many problems with Regions over the years but this one takes the cake! on 8 27 2014 I stoped by the branch on Long Hollow Pike in Goodlettesville, TN ran by one jerk named Daniel Coblence. I stoped through the atm at 730 pm to deposit cash into my account to cover a negative balance that was going to go through at midnight and the money had to be in by 8pm. The atm at this branch was offline so I went to the branch on Rivergate Pwky of which their atm was offline. I went back to the Long Hollow branch and it was still offline. I had to make anohter trip at 10pm of which it was finally online and I made the deposit. The next day I see an overdraft for their highway robbery of $37. I proceed to stop by this branch again. The teller tells me I need to speak to one of the other reps. I sat there for 5 mins with 5 different people in offices of which one was on a phone an NO ONE offfered any assisitance. SO I took a card and called one of the assosociates because Im sick of them wasting my time to get back my money they wrongly took. Finally I get an associate tell her what has happened it takes her almost the entire day to get back to me because she had to check out my story. Fianlly the next day after that I got my 37 dollars back. On Sep 2 I needed to pay my rent once again I go through the drive thru at the Long Hollow branch where Im met by the rudest teller I have ever dealt with by the way! I needed money orders for over $2000. She proceeds to tell me that She cant do that but she can give me cash and I can go somewhere else to get my mo. Lets think about todays day and age. I know people that have been murdered for less than $2000 and this person wants to give me that in cash then go around to gas stations and get money orders WHAT A JOKE and THANK YOU FOR CARING ABOUT THE SAFETY OF YOUR CUSTOMER! I proceeded to tell her no thats not going work let me speak to the manager. So fianlly after about another 5mins of waiting I get Daniel Coblence on the phone and say sir I need to get money orders to pay my rent of which the drop box for the landlord was less than 100yards away from this tellers window which was the reason I used this branch. He said theres nothing I can do but if you have a debit card I can give you cash. Thanks Richard ,whom Daniel Coblence will be known by in the rest of this letter, you obviously care about my safety as much as your rude teller. So after several mins of arguing and a said the something like quit dicking around with my money and I cant believe this damn bank He stops and says Sir If you cuss at me one more time I am going to call the cops on you ARE YOU KIDDING ME REALLY. YOUR GOING TO CALL THE COPS ON ME BECAUSE YOU WASTE MORE OF MY TIME THAN ANYBODY ELSE I DEAL WITH. Seriously this is how you treat customers. Well after a 30min wait on phone in cusotmer support. I finally got to speak with Jane of the customer support line and after 30mins of being on hold I WAS FUMIMG and if you tell me any other human being wouldnt be after all these issues just trying to do simple transactions that are obviously too hard for Richard your kidding yourself. This is obviosuly ok with this corporation but its not ok by me THE CUSTOMER of 14 years that never wanted to be with your bank in the first place. After speaking with Jane 7 days later I get a call from a Rich Glasco of your security dept. WHAT SECURITY you have made it perfectly clear that you dont care what type of situation your going to put me in and when I spoke to Jane that day I made it perfectly clesr that i wanted to speak with someone from your corporate office that cared about customer service and the lack there of. Well there you go 14 yrs and you threaten to put me in warms way and call the cops on me at the same time. Then theres no reason to ever do business with you again and I will be waiting for the day that this awful corporation to crash and burn! Thats really sad that I have wasted as much time effort and energy just trying to the simplest of tasks with your bank and thats too hard. Oh and the other thing NO WHERE AND I MEAN NO WHERE was it listed that Money Orders were not available throught the drive thru! Really thats top notch Regions customer service right there is you cant tell my sarcarsm. When I close this account I will be sure to make note of every awesome person on your staff that I have been unfortunate enough to deal with and the best part is NO ONE THAT WORKS FOR YOU CARES ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS YOU JUST WANT THEIR MONEY! And if you think thats makes you a good comapny your just once again kidding yourselves! The best part it will probably take another 7 days to hear from you because of all the other customers who are tieing up you customer service lines and making me wait 30 mins just to talk to a person! WHAT A JOKE! ME personally I work in the music business and theres plenty of money out there and never enough time to get things done so if you think for a second that by wasting my time dealing with this you havnt cost me money your once agian wrong! But that wont matter because this sorry excuse for a bank and corporation will NEVER see another dollar from me and it is worth it to have to drive a little extra out of the way to never deal with the headaches you have caused me again. Thanks for taking Im sure ten years off my life also just from the stress of having to deal with your lack of customer service. Do this to enough customers which im sure you already have like both of my parents who got fed up and clsed their regions accounts years ago so there is an entire family that never chose your bank but we like many other people Im sure can choose not to use your sevices! Thanks for all the wasted time energy and money you have stolen from me over these past 14 years shouldnt be too hard to find another bank that wants to take my money and probably treat me better than any single person with you clown car of company! One other thing looks like your reviews are pretty steller on here too Mr. Coblence

Forrest City Regions bank has lost my business. This morning I couldn't go in the bank because it was TEMPORARILY CLOSED!!!! They are always closed. The bank has run to the ground.

We opened our account with Regions Bank at least 25 years ago. The people at the Jasper Branch have always been polite and helpful. Recently discontinued there Saturday hours, so we were forced to go to the Ball Ground locations. Once again, nothing we have been treated great! If you are looking for a new bank, I'd strongly recommend Regions Bank, couldn't ask for a better group of people.

We opened our account with Regions Bank at least 25 years ago. The people at the Jasper Branch have always been polite and helpful. Recently discontinued there Saturday hours, so we were forced to go to the Ball Ground locations. Once again, nothing we have been treated great! If you are looking for a new bank, I'd strongly recommend Regions Bank, couldn't ask for a better group of people.

My wife and I are business owners and have been inquiring information about PPP loan forgiveness. They are not even registered with the SBA for automatic forgiveness application. The "manager" took care of getting our account (now closed) reset to go into their portal to apply forgiveness, which their portal is never up to date, Turns out she just updated the address. All they know, is how to create a ticket and will call you back which never happens. I tried again twice at different dates and have been on hold for over an hour with no response. When walked into the office the first time, the "manager" did not even know how to go about this information. Also, online there is no help, nor calling the customer service line. Very unhappy and unsatisfied with their lack of training and response. But you are offering to refinance my home? No Way! Good luck with everyone who applied for PPP through Regions, you will have to pay it back. I have track record of all I am typing in this review.

I wanted to use the app so I changed my email address. I had to wait thirty minutes to get help. The staff justified the poor service. When I went home, the teller had NOT changed it. I will have to return tomorrow.

The wife and I have dealt with many banks over our 57 years of marriage. One of our businesses was in South Memphis and we used a convenient branch of regions (nothing special,) it served our needs. We moved this business to Mississippi and opened a business and a small personal checking account to the branch at Senatobia. The business account ran from 200,000 to 300,00 at all times.
One day three of our employees came to this branch to cash their paychecks. The checks were written by my wife on this Regions account---they charged my employees $3.00 per check. They said it was bank policy because the employees didn't have an account there. We took our money and no one said "I am sorry".
When my wife ask to close the account and give her a cashiers check, they said there would be an $8.00 charge for the check. I am not going to tell what happened, you don't know my wife.

I took my mother to regions where I Bank to open up a new account through Green Life, we were both supposed to get $50 for opening the account however we were tricked and putting my name on her account for emergencies which made us not qualify for the $50 and they never said anything to us about that or my name would not have gone on that account I could have put it on there after I got the $50. Also I called them inquiring about my account I was told I would receive a call back in 48 hours that was a week ago and I have received no phone call. to those of you out there thinking about banking with regions I truly want to tell you to think twice they do not care about their customers just themselves.

Regions... Not much different as other traditional banks, the advantage for me was the ability to open a Business account to my foreign corporation, they have a really NICE International department in Miami Area, understand foreign clients needs and adapt their policies to them. Warm personnel and very reliable tellers and bankers, Never had an issue or a complaint. I think they can improve the online banking to a more friendly and useful network, they look a bit outdated. Poor ATM limits, but if you are short of cash and need to make a cash deposit you can always swipe your debit card and get some hard cold cash at the moment. Really useful when needed to deposit into my Regions account. Hours are not ideal for a business owner that needs a bank open at saturday afternoon or a thursday 5-6 pm time. But nobody is perfect!

So I was told by the Branch Mgr Ewa Frackiewicz that if I enrolled all of our bills under bill pay and set up our kids accounts under us along with all our savings accounts that we would accumulate rewards points that would not expire. She herself said she had points from years that she didn’t know about and someone called her to redeem them which totaled $500. So I was very eager and bought into this lie! Well fast forward a year. We move to Chicago Illinois where they have no Regions and so it becomes inconvenient to have everything grouped under one entity. Our kids open accused elsewhere which decreases the number of accounts we control. I call to have our points converted to cash and I’m told we have no Reward account. So I have no cash to be converted. I received emails for more than two years about our points balance. Then after our move I notice they have stoppped. I’m now told the points expire. And my Rewards account is closed. So who closed it? Because we didn’t. So they transfer me to the Reward Dept and the recording says call volume is higher than usual and to call back later or go online to redeem points. Then hangs up! Thank you Regions for nothing and lying about your services and offers. I’m so glad we never put all of our eggs in one basket. I will be closing everything. Oh, and the branch phone number where I set up all of this and was told the lies is no longer in service. Regions is a not a bank to do business with! I feel like this is fraud when you’re lied to just to have business. So I was told by the Branch Mgr Ewa Frackiewicz that if I enrolled all of our bills under bill pay and set up our kids accounts under us along with all our savings accounts that we would accumulate rewards points that would not expire. She herself said she had points from years that she didn’t know about and someone called her to redeem them which totaled $500. So I was very eager and bought into this lie! Well fast forward a year. We move to Chicago Illinois where they have no Regions and so it becomes inconvenient to have everything grouped under one entity. Our kids open accused elsewhere which decreases the number of accounts we control. I call to have our points converted to cash and I’m told we have no Reward account. So I have no cash to be converted. I received emails for more than two years about our points balance. Then after our move I notice they have stoppped. I’m now told the points expire. And my Rewards account is closed. So who closed it? Because we didn’t. So they transfer me to the Reward Dept and the recording says call volume is higher than usual and to call back later or go online to redeem points. Then hangs up! Thank you Regions for nothing and lying about your services and offers. I’m so glad we never put all of our eggs in one basket. I will be closing everything. Oh, and the branch phone number where I set up all of this and was told the lies is no longer in service. Regions is a not a bank to do business with! I feel like this is fraud when you’re lied to just to have business. We deposited $100 and received a receipt. Later they told us the deposit was $80. and reduced the balance by $20.

From the minute we walked in we felt cared for at this bank. Jo, who is one of the managers is the BEST BEST BEST lady to ever grace a bank office. Jeff set us up with our account and was AWESOME, and Missy, is one of the best teller's I've ever met. Some of the older ladies there are a bit cranky, but I just always try to be kind to them and bless them. Bank jobs are not easy, and not very exhilarating, so I'd be cranky too in that position. The bottom line is you have to have grace for people. If you don't, you end up with the bad reviews the people posted here. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with them, especially Jo. She is a gem among gems.

I have never in my life written a social media review of any business but I've made an exception for Regions Bank. I'm just a regular everyday person trying to make a living and getting along, like so many Americans on a paycheck that's gone the day it hits the bank. I chose Regions Bank because I liked the idea of a "personal banker" - an obvious figment of the bank's imagination.
I will spare you the long story about unauthorized charges using my Visa Debit card or the NSF fees charged on legitimate, authorized charges that were made PRIOR TO the posting of the fraudulent charges or to Regions taking money out of my direct deposit paycheck to cover unauthorized charges and NSF fees even though they were notified well in advance of the fraudulent charges even posting, or the inability to obtain a temporary debit card (bank personnel telling me Regions is not technically savvy enough to do that), or the fact Regions, unlike any other bank in this country is unable to put funds back into an account until the dispute is resolved - a process that could take up to 10 BUSINESS days (which of course creates additional delays since the bank was CLOSED 6 out of 10 days, or to the "personal banker" who told me that the bank would not reverse any NSF funds until the "investigation" was totally processed not caring a bit that I have not had access to my funds over a holiday season.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BANK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! SPRINGFIELD, TN BRANCH.

Although I only have a business account with them, I will say that most banks are like this when it comes to charges you didn't make( I had a similar thing happen with my personal bank and I was still cleaning up the mess even after a year).

Over the last two weeks I have had nothing but problems from Regions. First on October 21st I went to REGIONS ATM where my card was detained and destroyed for no reason at all. I spoke with bank customer service they apologized for their faulty ATM and informed me that another card will be mailed out in 5-10 business days. Mind you this is a Friday evening my car insurance is set to automatically withdraw from my card on the 26th. I told them that I need it sooner then that and is there anyway they can expedite it so I can be able to pay my bills. They told me I would I have to pay 35 dollars for a new card to be delivered by Tuesday 10/25. After speaking with a manager it was sent out for free and delivered on Tuesday morning. The card that was delivered have a expiration date of 10/16 and has declined EVERY TIME I'VE TRIED TO USE IT. I called bank and was told that they misprinted my card and I'll be receiving a new one that I have yet to receive. This banks has caused me so much mischief that I'm looking into a new bank.

It is nearly impossible to find a number for the bank. When you do, no one will answer. If you call the main line, you wait on hold for 15+ minutes, and they are always sorry, but can never help with anything. I have a car laon with regions. it is fine. but the Angie at the branch left me an message to call them. I thought it was about my loan. I tried to call them they would not answer the phone. I called the main line and they did not know what was going on but texted Angie and she was told there was a promo going on and to call the bank. I explained the bank would not answer the phone today. so i spent 45 minutes at work trying to find out what is going on about my loan just to discover i am being harrassed by phone to open an account. I would quit using money of regions was the last bank on earth. who would want to deal with this insanity. no thanks.
