I tried for 3 years to find out what charge on statement was, that appeared 10 years into mortgage.  
Balance on monthly statement is always wrong, do not apply extra payments to loan for months on end.  
Do not use correct balance to calculate payment due, every 3 months.  Refused to refinance.  Escrow calculations are done every 10-14 months, though charges are annual
Corporate office told me I was being unreasonable for expecting balance on monthly loan statement to be accurate.
I have to deal with this bank for another 15 years.  Don't ever get a mortgage with them, they are not honest!

After being screwed over by my old bank in 1996, I switched to Union Bank and have been with them ever since.   I am not going to sit here and say everything is perfect, but they have always done a good job and tried to fix any problems I have had. Really thats all you can ask. I have had a couple identity theft issues and they have always fixed them, albeit maybe slower than a larger bank(took 10 days to get money back)  but in teh end all is good. in bank people are awesome, but I really don't go inside anymore the last 3 years or so, since I do mobile deposits and the such.

I find it unbelievable that you have posted a review page for the Port Townsend branch when that branch, along with quite a few others in this region (20) were closed back in February of this year. It was a sad day when our branch closed and many loyal customers stayed until the end because the loved the employees of the branch. Please remove this posting.
