Just visited the Modesto branch on Palendale and have got to say that the staff and manager are incredibly awful people. Super mean and their customer service tactics are the worse of any ever. EVER. This branch should be entirely re-staffed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Management is horrid. Banking 7 years, and held the same job for 7 years. Every 2 weeks put in a deposit for same employer. Have had nothing but problems with this bank. Fransisco is the worst bank manager. He told me he wasn't going to release my payroll check and it's for my own good. I have never had a check held. He is the only person that can release it and even corporate told me he should have released it, but He's the only one that can. I had $500.00 in my account when I made the deposit and my employer has never bounced a check. I told him I had to pay my mortgage and feed my kids, he wouldn't budge. Then he lied to me regarding Bank of America's policies, which he claims he worked for. When I was a member for years and know for a fact he is wrong. Corporate wants me to call during business hours so they can try to get him to remove the hold, they have my side, we'll see how that goes.
     Also Carrol has something to learn. I received a money order for escrow out of my account. UPS lost my money order. I lost the house cause of that. When I told here I needed money back, she said I needed the stub. It took me 2 days to find it and when I went in she needed more paper work I didn't have. She said, "I'll keep your stub so you don't loose it again" and put it in a folder. When I came back with the paper work, she lost my stub. Then she claims she never took it. I had to call corporate, and they told her to give me my money.
     A friend of mine had someone go in and write the wrong account number on a withdraw slip and tried to get a few thousand out of his account. The teller actually crossed the wrong account number out on his slip, then wrote the number for my friends account and gave him my friends money. Carrol  told him they where wrong, but he has to do a police report, which he won't receive for 10 days before they start an investigation on the matter. They know they where wrong, and  now are making him jump through hoops to get his money they illegally gave to someone else.
     My lodge is changing to a different bank, because Union charges fees to a 501C organization, and Provident or Rabobank actually pays them interest. Plus Fransisco lied to them also.
     I had a new teller that said my card was worn and she could get a new one coming. I said ok. She didn't do the paper work right and they filed it as stolen or lost. I went to they ATM and it took my card. I went into the bank and was givin attitude by yet another great customer service rep, I beleve her name starts with a D. I was on my lunch break and in a hurry and let her know I didn't have much time. Her response was, "Do you want me to help you or not?" The meeting ended with, "We screwed up, but you have to wait ten days for a new card" The card was ten feet away in their ATM and they could have called corporate to reactivate the card. Corporate told me this.
    I can not believe they are still in business. Everyone I know that banks with them hates them. They have the same excuse as I have. "It's so much trouble transfering my accounts and bills." No more, I am pulling all of my accounts from this horrible excuse for a bank. I have 5 with them. Fransisco and Carrol should never had been giving a job in management.
     It doesn't end there though. I am part of a few orginizations that I have been on the phone with. All unhappy and all pulling their accounts.
     Rabobank and provodent are part of this community. They give to this community and care. Union bank is ran by Yahoos. Pull your accounts go to people that care.
