We had our business and personal accounts at Wesbanco Yellow Springs before leaving the area. We have a new bank now, and Wesbanco Yellow Springs remains the best bank we have ever dealt with. The staff is friendly and helpful. I've never had a banking problem that they couldn't solve. I wish Wesbanco had a branch near my new location

I came through the drive through with a check (drawn on Wesbanco, I might add, from a Wesbanco account) made out to my MIL (who was with me) and it was addressed to her as such: First Name Last Name Hospital name where she lives and address. The address was the same address on her ID. The lady, after waiting forever while she made "phone calls" refused to cash it and treated the check as if it had "AND" on it, and said she couldn't cash it because it had another business' name on it. IT HAD THE NAME OF THE HOSPITAL WHERE SHE LIVES AT. since it is NOT a residential only address, that is HOW IT HAS TO BE MADE OUT. It did NOT have the words "AND OR or a ," separating her name and the name of the hospital. The lady told us she cannot cash it, and we would have to come back Monday. When we were trying to explain we live hours away (and visiting MIL) and in trying to ask what we could do in preparation of coming back Monday she rudely cut me off and said she would get fired if she cashed it. Funny, we went 10 min. down the road, explained the situation to another bank, who shuck their heads and explained she was wrong. I am truly glad I do not live in Ohio and that I do not have to deal with this person or branch ever again.

I have had to go to this bank at least 5 times because of my debit card. It seems that every time I went to it it was shut of. My mom left me some money in an account in her he when she way. I ask them not send any more statements or account info to her old address but rather to mine. They did t anyway and another family got a hold of my bank
information. I closed the account and opened a new one only to find out they had both account numbers linked to the same debit card rather then closing the old account as I had requested. It is on going they also seem so cold and indifferent.

St.Clairsville branch. Been trying to get a home loan since the 1st of October. First, the appraisal man was 1 month getting around to doing it, they told me he was in the hospital, apparently they only have one appraisal person doing this. Secondly to get anybody to call me back it's like pulling teeth they just don't do it. Justin one day I've called 7 times and left messages and still no one calls me back. I would not recommend this bank for any reason at all. I advised my friends to draw their money out of it and put it somewhere else, worst service I have ever run across.
