I would love to rate their service, if they had any structure that could be considered a service to customers. Getting one single question answered by phone is the biggest hassle, and calling a branch location only gets your issue pushed to their automated line. Only reason I went with this bank is due to a recent move to Florida and losing the incredible service at my credit union. My account here will be closed within the week and business will be taken to Gold coast or Palm Beach credit union.

I would love to rate their service, if they had any structure that could be considered a service to customers. We had our business acounts wiht Wells Fargo and decided to close the accounts because the fees were too high and there was no branch at a convenient location in CT for us. The accounts were closed in July and when I tried to log on to our online banking to print our final statement, my logins were no good because the accounts had been closed. The other day we received a bill for 2 month's "client analysis" fees which were posted on October 31st. We can't dispute this amount without a receipt. Since everything was done by phone and online, there is no receipt. Is this just a way for Wells Fargo to cheat it's customers? I would strongly discourage any of our business associates from banking with Wells Fargo. It was very difficult to even close the account, now they are charging fees for accounts that have been closed for 3 months. Sounds like fraud to me.

Stephanie is a teller at this branch. She doesn't understand what "good customer service" is. Too make matters worse, her operations manager Elizabeth doesn't know either. My business has carried our main banking account with Wells Fargo for over ten years. It was my first time to make a deposit on this branch today and the service was so poor so much so that I had to ask the guys(paid bankers for sure) roaming around the branch chatting and acting like they're modeling their suits,..."if there were really just two booths opened out of the 7 or more".Clients(including me) were waiting in line and by the time I made loud comments of"is booth 4,5,6 opened?"...coz I can see tellers seated there doin' nothing....(for an interval of 5mins not calling the next client-so sad that was slow)that was as if the cue that they would call those patiently waiting to get the service they deserve!!!I very well remember Robert de Niro who once said"you waste my time-you steal from me!!!And i felt exactly the same coz I still need to run errands for my daughter after that horrible banking experience.We are entrusting you of our hard earned money so please give what's due to us.PLAIN AND SIMPLE.Let this be a constructive criticism and hope you make a quantum leap and PLEASE be fair-DO YOUR WORK!!!I will never fall victim...I mean fall in line in your branch again.

I have had deposits with Wells Fargo for years, but this is the most unprofessional branch I've encountered. The turnover in staff (including managers) is constant. The tellers are typically young and inexperienced, with a scripted (fake) friendliness ("Welcome to Wells Fargo... How was your weekend..."). Two months ago, the teller withdrew money from the wrong account (after me reminding her TWICE of the correct account), costing me endless headaches and return visits in order to resolve with the manager. All said, this is the way of all corporate flesh: a race to the bottom in terms of wages paid to workers in order to reduce costs and maximize profits. Very, very sad.

I gaive the staff a "fair" rating only because they gave us water and suckers during our first visit. The second visit, we recieved friendly service, but no suckers or water. The third and fourth visit - they were still friendly, but by this time we realized they do NOT know what they are doing! They were trying to correct mistakes they made during the first visit, but I finally gave up 30 days later with no access to my pay for 2 weeks. No checks, no debit card issued, no return phone calls. My regular branch in Redmond took care of their multiple mistakes in under an hour. Do NOT use this branch.

Plz take it from someone with inside information!!! The reason all of you 300 plus people are having poor customer service issues and bad experiences with Wells Fargo is because they actually don't care about their employees or you for that matter!! All they care about is the $$$$. I have a family member in his 20's that has worked several yrs with them and as a manager......he always brings the #'s up and has great ppl skills however they refuse to approve him a full staff to run the bank efficiently!! He works long hours and does anything he can to take care of customers since they are so short of help!! He has dealt with dangerous blood pressure problems for a few years since beginning this job! I keep telling him it's not worth it yet he keeps believing things will get better! I also have a friend in his 60's that worked as a financial advisor when they were Wachovia and he left and has his own business now when the culture begin to change to $$$$!!! I can't imagine how a corporation can continue to stay in business that treats their customers/clients and employees in such a manner!!! They have serious issues and everyone thought it would get better when Wells Fargo took over but it continues to decline. I advise seriously considering taking your $$$$ and finding a smaller more personable bank where you can build relationships with someone who actually cares!!! Alot of Wells Fargo employees care but after awhile just get fried with the invisible squasher that now rules Wells Fargo culture!!! A literal vulture!! Just speaking 'TRUTH'!

I have been in customer service for 10+ years and this is the WORST staff I have ever come across.Rude beyond belief. I drive over 15 minutes out of the way to avoid this bank at all costs. Jessica Young is the worst here. She completly ruins my day everytime I am forced to go there. She has no manners, yelled at me, pops her gum right in my face, and is so arrogant. She never helps me with any of my questions and is only there to chat with other employees. Until she leaves or gets fired I will never bank there again. She acts like she can just apply her makeup at the desk and yell at everyone who comes to her counter. I really hope wells fargo looks into this matter.

Didn't think it could get any worse, until.......

A few days ago I posted the "they were terrible in 1997..." review, and now I have another story illustrative of the Wells Fargo experience. I went to the Madison location to close my account and withdraw the last bit of money from my account. I waited in line for nearly 10 minutes while the ONLY attendant helped the ONE person that was ahead of me. Two were at the drive-through counter, and two people walked around looking useless and not helping anyone (he did ask me how I was doing -I lied and said "fine"). I finally got to the counter and said I would like to close my account. The lady told me I had to meet with a financial officer, or something like that, and told me they were all very busy and maybe I should come back tomorrow. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Even leaving this dumb bank is a hassle!

You know, Ive been shocked and disappointed with this bank before but have never written a review, I guess its time I start opening my month when I feel like something is just WRONG. If you have an account with Wells Fargo, you can buy a money order from them for five dollars, or you can go to Martins Grocery store beside Target and pay fifty nine cents for one,.... enough said for now.

Lesley, Lesley, Lesley... I've been with the bank since moving to Florida.. you can't avoid this nasty lady if you bank here..
Anytime they have a pleasant person, they last no more than 6 months and onward they go.. the long-time employees like Lesley are not happy and ruin your day just for needing to visit a branch. I stay because they are within walking distance to my home and that's the ONLY reason.
Seriously Wells Fargo.. with everyone out of work, can't you find some Pleasant folks who are genuine and not bible thumping psycho paths to work for you?

I banked with Norwest for years until they were bought out by Wells Fargo. I stuck around for a while but the increasingly terrible service and escalating rates drove me away from them in 1997. Fast forward to 2012 (after many happy years with Summit Credit Union). I decided to buy a car in Florida and didn't want to carry cash with me while flying from Madison, WI. I could not find a bank down there that would cash any sort of certified check or money order on the same day and was forced to take the option of opening an account with Wells Fargo, depositing CASH in my new WF account, then pulling it out the next day when I arrived to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The staff in Madison were actually helpful and friendly, but when I got to FL it was a different story. I was at the teller counter for 55 minutes trying to get my money withdrawn. Despite having a CASH deposit ticket from the day before, the business card of the supervisor from the Madison location, the name of the teller that assisted me at the Madison location, an airline ticket stub showing I just flew from Madison to Ft. Lauderdale, my valid driver’s license and passport THE CRAZY BLONDE FOOL BEHIND THE COUNTER STILL REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT!!! She stated there wasn't a signature on file in the Wells Fargo computer,,, WHAT???? How is that my fault -and why did it take her almost an hour to figure out the solution.
How is it that a company can suck this bad for so long and not go out of business? I'm NEVER dealing with Wells Fargo again. Do yourself a favor and bank with a local credit union.

I banked with Norwest for years until they were bought out by Wells Fargo. I stuck around for a while but the increasingly terrible service and escalating rates drove me away from them in 1997. Fast forward to 2012 (after many happy years with Summit Credit Union). I decided to buy a car in Florida and didn't want to carry cash with me while flying from Madison, WI. I've been on the waiting list since over an hour, I don't think it's fair that a man just walked in and walked straight into the associate's office. Good thing I'm closing down my account. WF Eden Prairie is so unbelievably bad. I could have written earlier but just came across this spot. They cycle employees through here almost on a daily basis. I have seldom seen the same face twice. I agree wholeheartedly with another reviewer that asking me 3 times how I am doing is not great customer service. It is annoying. Stand behind the desk and assist with my transaction so I can get out.
Last week I made a $1000 cash deposit at the drive through. After being acknowledges by a teller it took him almost 10 minutes to come back to me to say all he had was my deposit slip and needed the cash. What? Are you kidding me? So we went round and round and I just refused to leave. He finally came back with an apology that the cash had fallen on the floor? Hmm? Really?
I just called their local number to inquire about a safety deposit box and the person answering the phone wanted my name and account numbers, 4 digits from my social, etc. I told her it was not necessary for my question and she got defensive. I explained the information I was looking for and she still wanted the information so I caved in but was angry. It added more time to the call while I looked it up. Then she admits although I called a local number she was in another state and she would have to call them. So she did and then came back another 15 minutes later only to tell me she could not reach anyone and I could call them later with the number she would give me. So she gives me the exact number and when I told her that was how I reached her she was confused and did not believe me. Then she asked what I wanted a safety deposit box for! Really? I told her the question made no sense and just hung up. Almost 30 minutes to ask a basic question, still no answer, but if I drive over I know there will be 3 people waiting to pounce on me to ask about my day. This bank has no common sense and I am closing everything and heading to the credit union down the street (SPIRE). This place exhausts me.

Will be pulling my accounts from this bank! Horrible customer service. Trying to set up online business banking is a joke! Would recommend any other bank but Wells Fargo! The only person willing to go out of there way and above and beyond is Robert McCommons my Mortgage Consultant. The greatest experience through any of the banks that we are with would be with him.
