I have been in customer service for 10+ years and this is the WORST staff I have ever come across.Rude beyond belief. I drive over 15 minutes out of the way to avoid this bank at all costs. Jessica Young is the worst here. She completly ruins my day everytime I am forced to go there. She has no manners, yelled at me, pops her gum right in my face, and is so arrogant. She never helps me with any of my questions and is only there to chat with other employees. Until she leaves or gets fired I will never bank there again. She acts like she can just apply her makeup at the desk and yell at everyone who comes to her counter. I really hope wells fargo looks into this matter.

A few days ago I posted the "they were terrible in 1997..." review, and now I have another story illustrative of the Wells Fargo experience. I went to the Madison location to close my account and withdraw the last bit of money from my account. I waited in line for nearly 10 minutes while the ONLY attendant helped the ONE person that was ahead of me. Two were at the drive-through counter, and two people walked around looking useless and not helping anyone (he did ask me how I was doing -I lied and said "fine"). I finally got to the counter and said I would like to close my account. The lady told me I had to meet with a financial officer, or something like that, and told me they were all very busy and maybe I should come back tomorrow. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Even leaving this dumb bank is a hassle!

You know, Ive been shocked and disappointed with this bank before but have never written a review, I guess its time I start opening my month when I feel like something is just WRONG. If you have an account with Wells Fargo, you can buy a money order from them for five dollars, or you can go to Martins Grocery store beside Target and pay fifty nine cents for one,.... enough said for now.

Lesley, Lesley, Lesley... I've been with the bank since moving to Florida.. you can't avoid this nasty lady if you bank here..
Anytime they have a pleasant person, they last no more than 6 months and onward they go.. the long-time employees like Lesley are not happy and ruin your day just for needing to visit a branch. I stay because they are within walking distance to my home and that's the ONLY reason.
Seriously Wells Fargo.. with everyone out of work, can't you find some Pleasant folks who are genuine and not bible thumping psycho paths to work for you?

I banked with Norwest for years until they were bought out by Wells Fargo. I stuck around for a while but the increasingly terrible service and escalating rates drove me away from them in 1997. Fast forward to 2012 (after many happy years with Summit Credit Union). I decided to buy a car in Florida and didn't want to carry cash with me while flying from Madison, WI. I could not find a bank down there that would cash any sort of certified check or money order on the same day and was forced to take the option of opening an account with Wells Fargo, depositing CASH in my new WF account, then pulling it out the next day when I arrived to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The staff in Madison were actually helpful and friendly, but when I got to FL it was a different story. I was at the teller counter for 55 minutes trying to get my money withdrawn. Despite having a CASH deposit ticket from the day before, the business card of the supervisor from the Madison location, the name of the teller that assisted me at the Madison location, an airline ticket stub showing I just flew from Madison to Ft. Lauderdale, my valid driver’s license and passport THE CRAZY BLONDE FOOL BEHIND THE COUNTER STILL REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT!!! She stated there wasn't a signature on file in the Wells Fargo computer,,, WHAT???? How is that my fault -and why did it take her almost an hour to figure out the solution.
How is it that a company can suck this bad for so long and not go out of business? I'm NEVER dealing with Wells Fargo again. Do yourself a favor and bank with a local credit union.

Been waiting for over an hour, just to be helped. Hearing one of the associates talk about personal home issues with a "customer" whom is surely his friend. I've been on the waiting list since over an hour, I don't think it's fair that a man just walked in and walked straight into the associate's office. Good thing I'm closing down my account. Thankfully I will not have to deal with this bank nor it's lousy "associates".

WF Eden Prairie is so unbelievably bad. I could have written earlier but just came across this spot. They cycle employees through here almost on a daily basis. I have seldom seen the same face twice. I agree wholeheartedly with another reviewer that asking me 3 times how I am doing is not great customer service. It is annoying. Stand behind the desk and assist with my transaction so I can get out.
Last week I made a $1000 cash deposit at the drive through. After being acknowledges by a teller it took him almost 10 minutes to come back to me to say all he had was my deposit slip and needed the cash. What? Are you kidding me? So we went round and round and I just refused to leave. He finally came back with an apology that the cash had fallen on the floor? Hmm? Really?
I just called their local number to inquire about a safety deposit box and the person answering the phone wanted my name and account numbers, 4 digits from my social, etc. I told her it was not necessary for my question and she got defensive. I explained the information I was looking for and she still wanted the information so I caved in but was angry. It added more time to the call while I looked it up. Then she admits although I called a local number she was in another state and she would have to call them. So she did and then came back another 15 minutes later only to tell me she could not reach anyone and I could call them later with the number she would give me. So she gives me the exact number and when I told her that was how I reached her she was confused and did not believe me. Then she asked what I wanted a safety deposit box for! Really? I told her the question made no sense and just hung up. Almost 30 minutes to ask a basic question, still no answer, but if I drive over I know there will be 3 people waiting to pounce on me to ask about my day. This bank has no common sense and I am closing everything and heading to the credit union down the street (SPIRE). This place exhausts me.

Will be pulling my accounts from this bank! Horrible customer service. Trying to set up online business banking is a joke! Would recommend any other bank but Wells Fargo! The only person willing to go out of there way and above and beyond is Robert McCommons my Mortgage Consultant. The greatest experience through any of the banks that we are with would be with him.

The manager said she has to go if I am going to talk to her rudely. WTF? Why am I even talking to this bank, I thought to myself. When u call to let their 800 # know, they let u explain everything, then ask if u want their supervisor. This sounds crazy just writing this. Probably best to just not bank with Wells Fargo. Any other b ank or credit union will be better, who wants to feel like that? Not me, thats for sure! :)

My husband and I have been weelsfargo customers for about 7 years. I recently lost my job and got in a car accident. As a result our savings account balance went into the red approx. $100. 2 weeks after we first went negative I went into the Loop 288 Wells Fargo Branch with $3500 in CASH appolgizing for our slip up and wanting to square things away on our negative balance. The branch manager Jeremy told me that he would rather not have my husband and I as checking and savings customers but was happy to keep us home mortgage customers (as our a,ccount has never been late) he then informed me my account was frozen and they would hold all the money in our checking account for 2 weeks. He also would not take any of my cash to clear up our negative saving balance or transfer any funds from our checking to cover it.
I would rate this branch as HORRIBLE! That same day I went to Chase with my $3500 and opened an account with them.
I received a call from wells fargo loss prevention appologizing for the managers unprofessionalism trying to keep us as customers. We declined.

I've been with WF for approx. 8 years. I have been broke through most of it-disability isnt an amt. ppl can live on. I was overdrawn, out of luck in direct deposit advances, and still owed more. I talked to the 800#, but they were no help. I needed help managing my tiny acct and still being able to afford meds for epilepsy and fibromyalgia.I was going to quit on WF because the main number and e mail contact wasgoing by a script-seeing an account # ,not a person in need. I went to the local branch and now:I will be at WF till a caring, competant woman leaves. Her name is DANNI CARTER. She was very helpful, which is expected, but Danni went out of her way to assist me. Not only did she assist in my current problems there, but, she took extra time and helped me set up a realistic savings goal.I was truly at the end of my rope.I was ill, in pain, and could not afford medication I needed badly. I assumed I would get the usual company line when I went in, but Danni treated me like a person. She should be lauded for her patience, understanding, and extremely helpful suggestions. I was truly going to SSI ppl on Monday to move my SSDI direct deposit-but as Long as Danni works at WF-I wouldnt dream of going to Any other bank!To sum up,in my opinion, Danni and I were complete strangers, but she was more caring than my family and my friends. She gave me hope when she gave me her time-Ijust had to share my experience.I am not a WF employee-I do not care for alot of their rules and their 800 # reps-but :1 employee made a huge difference in my life. That is rare so I was compelled to sing her praise!

I've had the same checking account with WF between 15 to 20 years. I've had several mortgages with them and still they have the mortgage to one of my homes. Last week I went into a local WF mortgage location to re-fi another house but the difference in the monthly payments wouldn't have been significant so I left things alone.
I liked Wells Fargo that much to send them as much business as I could. This week however things changed!!
Monday: I went to this location to send out a wire transfer and to prevent a payment from posting and was told to open a savings account and transfer the funds into it. Then I was told to keep (withdraw) the funds because the checking account would pull from the savings account, so I withdrew most of the funds in the savings account but left enough to cover any inbound checks. Being after the cut-off to send a wire (1:30 PM) I was asked to return the next day and they could send it then.
Tuesday: In an attempt to wire out $944 I was told to place the funds back into the checking account so I did. Before placing the funds into the account three checks posted and bounced costing me $75 in overdraft fees. Seems even though I was "advised" by the bank that funds would be pulled from the savings account OOPS, they forgot to enable the savings account with overdraft allowing the transfer to the checking account. So I could have left all the money in the savings account which would have then allowed my wire transfer to have gone through. With the overdraft charges I no longer had the funds to send the wire so I left and returned with more cash. At this point I was again told everything's fine and the wire is ready to go. Before I left I phoned Wells Fargo and they did credit me with half the overdraft charges ($37.50) which might sound fantastic but if it wasn't for the bad advice of *** and the forgetting to enable both my accounts together I wouldn't have gotten the first bounced check in my life of almost 60 years.
Wednesday: I receive a phone call from *** asking me to return to the bank, seems someone forgot to have me sign the outbound wire. I went to the bank - signed the paperwork and was told several times not to worry the wire WILL go out. I asked if I should return or call to verify it did but was told again, it's not necessary the wire will go out.
This wire transfer was to a company that oversees 12 world-wide businesses I do business with from home. If they don't receive payment within 72 hours after the close of the transaction (24-hour grace period) the account is blocked and any credit cards / addresses / phone numbers associated with the account are (as they say) blacklisted.
Thursday: That evening (not in the AM) after seeing funds back in the account I paid another mortgage and withdrew a few bucks.
Friday: I connect to find I no longer have access to any of my business accounts. I call one the most recent customers to find they didn't receive payment for Sunday's account (You know, the $944 wire that I was promised would go out two days ago). Again I go to WF and ask *** why didn't the wire go through but the bigger question was "Why wasn't I called or contacted?" *** said she'd find out as I waited for her return. After 24 minutes (no kidding, 24 minutes) she returned and tried to tell me there wasn't enough funds in the account and she proceeded to tell me how wrong I was while she pointed out the errors of my ways with the printout of my account. As she continued I pointed out she was looking at the wrong dates. Once she realized this (and she did) she really had nothing to say. By this time knowing not only has she caused me to get the first bounced checks of my life but her ignorance of her own job has caused my business accounts to be blocked permanently. Well with all this and her sitting there still denying any wrong-doing on her part I started getting pi$$ed so I asked her to go back to School or maybe get some training that would prevent her from doing this to anyone else in the future. Yea, she didn't care for that bit of truth and while only raising her voice slightly that was enough to get me going. I wasn't able to finish the third string of %#&^ I was throwing her way before being asked to leave.
I only dealt with one person throughout all this so while the tellers are probably highly educated and very helpful, beware of the only female sitting at a desk in front of the offices.

The 2nd Avenue Wells Fargo has by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Led by Randall Pollack, the branch manager, the employees at this branch are uninformed, rude and completely unhelpful. I recently called this branch for 30 minutes before the phone was answered.i was transferred 3 times and ended up speaking with a woman whom I was told could transfer funds from one account to another. We spoke for ten minutes before she decided she could not perform this task. After receiving no return call from the manager, I called the branch at 1st and Steele. The phone was answered immediately by a pleasant, knowledgeable person who transferred the funds. I will be banking at First and Steele from now on!

So, i was informed to go to the nearest bank. I did that, and what happens, i enter the bank and then wait in line like a patient individual would. I get to the front and what happens, i am undirected on where to go. Seriously people why put the sign in sheet where it cannot be seen?? what if there are people who are visiting from another state? I mean come on what if you are a new banker? yeah, that's my QUESTION OF THE DAY>>>>>
The moral of the story is,(a)(know your personal banker before going ANYWHERE)(b) Bank Managers, please please please hire appropriate Bankers, they make and/or make your Bank.. i seriously see why no one is rating this bank as a good bank.

Wells Fargo bank at 3506 Mount Vernon Ave, Alexandria VA
I feel uncomfortable with the African Men who works as a teller. He is unprofessional, leers at me, and makes inappropriate sexual comments. I am afraid because he has access to my home address.
