I run a small business in Bellevue WA. While reviewing our trust account bank statement, we found a check that was cashed against our account that was clearly fraudulent. The name and address on the check weren't even a match for our business.
We took this to the Bellevue Main branch and were told that machines process the checks, and no human looks at the names on an account. If the account and routing number match, then thats all it takes. When asked what we needed to do in response, we were told USBank would have to close our account, and open a new one with a different account number. When I explained that this was a trust account, and not a simple personal checking, they had no idea what that meant. The whole experience was highly discouraging, and we will be looking to move our accounts to another bank.

I had been with U.S. Bank for 15+ years and they have become one of the worst banks in the industry.  Their only concern is how much money they can extract from their customers and their customer service is the worst it has ever been.  They had charged me a $150 fee for a line if credit that I was not even using and I went into the Montbello branch to have the fee waived and the line of credit closed.  The fee was for the year upcoming year, so I certainly was not going to get any benefit from this fee.  The Branch Manager, Alex Gonzales, refused to waive the fee, but was willing to close the account after I paid the fee. Why would I have to pay a fee for an account that was going to be closed and not used?  The fee was being billed in advance, so it's not like I used the line and then asked them to waive the fee.  He refused.  He didn't care one iota about customer service or that I had numerous business and personal accounts with them for years.  I immediately closed all if the accounts and will never use this bank again.  I work for a company that had a even worse experience with US Bank a fee years ago, so all I can say both to consumers and businesses is beware of US Bank.

I am a kind of regular customer to the branch in Lake Elsinore, ca on Mission Trail..most of my business I do with the tellers, most times I see them doing nothing. I receive an item - check - I tried to deposit with the teller and she will not let me do it , no reasoning with her , she was just unskilled and plain ignorant...That item was written in spanish, -sent to me from overseas-I have done the same time of deposit many,many times and never a problem..her attitude made me walked away and opted to deposit through the ATM ,well she took it too personal and  she retrieved that same check from the ATM and put a hold on that check for days ,being vindictive  for no reason,since she felt I went around her rule and use the ATM. I have deposited many, many checks( bigger amounts) same as this type and never a problem. Its sad that they would do this to a person that banks regularly with them , at end of the day it is just plain unskilled on her part and I will change banks before my new statement gets generated.

Poor customer service in assisting customers with a problem. An error during debit card transaction resulted in 6 overdrafts totalling $216,00, $36.00 each. A call to this facility, U.S. BANK on North Grand in Springfield, Illinois proved to be useless. After speaking with two ranking associates, there was no negotiating in an attempt to lower or waive these rediculous charges. One of these associates even hung up on me during my attempt to reason with her. Bad public relations.

I am a ex-banker.  I have been with this bank since it was PFF. It keeps going downhill and I am going to have to change banks.  Too bad, 25 years down the drain.

I too am an unhappy camper with customer service I received at  the U S Bank's North Grand location in Springfield, Illinois. A mistaken debit card transaction resulted in 6 overdraft charges at $36 each for a total of $216 . Upon contacting the bank and speaking with two ranking associates there was no negotiating in attempt to lower or waive these rediculous fees. This was my first experience with this bsnk and I can guarantee you it will be my last.

I went in to withdraw +20,000 and they did not have the money!!!! What???!!! Its my money.  They said I would have to request it??!!!  I seriously thinking about changing banks.  I have been one of their customers long before it was US Bank.  I have plenty of money in my account.  They say you can only withdraw 5k at a time.  If I needed an ATM  I would have gone to an ATM. I plan to speak to Corporate about this.  Its not like I was asking for 100k.  I am not happy.

Do you really think banks keep millions of dollars at each branch? I have a friend that works for another large bank and she told me that they only keep on hand what is necessary for the pattern of their customers. Your request for 20k was out of pattern and not accounted for. She said its normal for customers to order larger amounts of money when needed.  Makes sense to me.

Charles and Ashley is the worst bank employees I experienced in my life. Charles asked me too many questions. one question was completely unrelated with my western union money transfer. I declined to answer and he declined to offer the service.  Ashely,  the assistant manager wanted to call the security to evict me when I asked her to write a statement why they decline to give me service. shocking!

I had the WORST experience over 3625 West Russell Road branch (I have to say that the tellers at this branch have ALWAYS been a pleasure to work with and this review is certainly no reflection on them)

I went there last week and spoke to Renee (a middle age lady) She was so unprofessional and rude. She was too busy playing with her cell phone and ignored me the whole time! I decided to change bank.They just lost a half million account.

I have never written a bad review on a bank before, but since I obviously have time to return to bank numerous times I guess I also have time for this. I have been in the customer service business for 15+ years and I would have ZERO customers if I treated them the way this banks employees treat their customers! Do yourself a favor and bank elsewhere!!!!Just rude and ignorant!

I was there yesterday to ask about my money which were on hold and no one could give me any answer . They bring  my statements and told me to count how much money I spend on weekend. W T F  I'm not stupid and I know how much money I have on my account. I guess they are standing there only for one reason to take money and go home... GOOD LUCK :/!!! unskilled workers!!!!

Aaron is always very impolite and rude to me when I come in to do any banking. I have called several times do a change order and he says they have no change and I need to call a week ahead of time or at the very least 3 days a head of time. I don't have that luxury and when I go in there to make a change order it's cause that's my last choice. The lady that answers the phone is always great but when I call and Aaron answers I hang up. He shouldn't be on the front lines with customers.

DO NOT REFINANCE WITH US BANK! I started a multi-property refinance 11/30/12 and it was still in process in June 2013 with predatory lending practice reported to the WA Attorney General Office. US Bank representatives admit to many mistakes/mishandling throughout the stressful process. Bank was required to return appraisal costs.

Wish I could give -5 stars on wait time. I CONTINUALLY GET EXTREMELY SLOW SERVICE! This Occasion I timed it, 11 minutes at the Window before I even got a hello. If this were an isolated instance I could understand but every time they take far longer than any other branch. Go to the Fenton branch it is 12 minutes away so it'll end up being the same amount of time as the are quick. I feel as though they should close this branch and save everyone some money. I will never visit this branch again!

I entered the bank on 2/13/2014 to set up an international wire transfer for my educational travels.  It is the deposit I am transferring to hold my spot in the class overseas.  So I was very specific that the quicker the best for the situation to the manager who processed this.  I gave her a sheet printed off with all the account and address info. for the training to submit the deposit to.  She didn't give me a receipt and I didn't notice till later.  So two weeks later today the money is still sitting in my account not transferred.  I have called 5x over the last two weeks trying to avoid an error because I used to work for US Bank and know the branches don't always hire the best candidate for the job.  So last I called on 2/25/2014 two days ago and had to call another branch to deal with this issue because this branch put me on hold and transferred me to the 1800 customer service line and they can't answer my questions there I know this because only a bank manager can access this transaction.  So I called the Sherman branch and they called the manager at the 4th street branch for me and got back to me within the hour stating "the manager says the transaction is good to go and it can take to weeks and everything is correctly imputed so just be patient."  I told her that I was scared she put the information in wrong and that it was going to cause me to loose my space and that I was trying to avoid this at all costs.  She said "nope I was told it would have been rejected immediately if it wasn't all correct" I took a sigh of relief and agreed to wait two more days.  So today I log on to online banking 2weeks later and see the money still in my account.  I call the branch and leave the manager a voice mail.  She calls me back and leaves me a message and says "it seems that there is an issue with the account number and the order was rejected and now we will have to start over"  What the hell!  This is exactly why I called so many times checking up on this.  So a $50 fee I have to pay for the worst customer service ever, and waiting another 2wks for my teacher to get my deposit and perhaps loosing my place in the training.  None of this is my error.  So needless to say I left an honest message for the manager reciting all the transfer info called again and left another message stating that I want a resolve asap!  It has been over 90mins and still no call back.  I will be closing my account for sure after this debacle is over.  If I ever did business like this in any of the customer service jobs I have held I would have lost my job.  This is unacceptable!  DO NOT BANK WITH US BANK WORST SERVICE EVER AND THIS IS A COMMOM THING I HEARD AND DEALT WITH IT OFTEN WORKING FOR THIS BANK FOR 2YRS.  RUN!!!

“So I walked in today (2/26/2014) to open 2 checking accounts- (customer, yay right) nope- This place made me feel like a minority so bad like if I had no money and maybe thought I didn't know what I was doing. 1 lady as a teller- busy, 1 banker busy, 3 other staff members doing nothing., can you believe at NO EYE CONTACT to me or my father!! guys guys.. Im a customer, hello!!! 5 minutes passed, I had to walk to the teller to tell her I need assistance to open 2 accounts., she acknowdge, another 5 minutes I asked- how much longer do you think because I might just need to take my bussiness somewhere else.., apologized but yet it took another 7 minutes... that 17 minutes waiting when there are 3 others doing nothing. So after all that wait., the lady that was busy attended to us. Sat with her about our plan to open an account and long story short- we couldn't because they need a letter from social security when verification was made after calling SS. What a joke! is this how I want my bank to do.? You guys needs some lesson in customer service. Eplain the whole thing, Stakey K- you need to go out and meet customers not just enlarging your maximus gluteus. And for this I am pulling all of my fathers account including refinancing his mortage because I AM SO UNHAPPY WITH HOW YOU TREATED US!!” Less

WORST BANK I HAVE EVER BEEN WITH! Nickel and dime you to death here. Their online account information is tricky so one day you have a certain available balance and a the next day debits from 3 or 4 days ago post. The fees are outrageous, I was even charged a $90 "administration fee" and another for $45!. With their business accounts you are able to use your debit card even if you have no funds and guess what $36 for every single fee- I'm moving my accounts out of this bank over the next few months, they know what a pain it is to leave especially when you have everything on autopay. US Bank has thousands of negative reviews online if you search "us bank reviews" for similar reasons as mine

Just an FYI- I have my business acct elsewhere and it's the same thing with the debit card. Apparently you can only opt out on your personal account. It's not just them. Hope that helps. :-)

The branch is the worst! I have banked here for 13 years and thought it was okay until I needed service. I moved out of state and they refused to do a wire transfer of my available funds from my account to my new bank. I had to wait 10 business days for my personal check to "clear". This issue resulted in me having to put off the closing date of my new home and lengthen my family's stay in a hotel by a week.  To make matters worse, they refused to allow me to close my childrens savings accounts --they stated that It is REQUIRED that the closing of accounts or withdrawls had to be done IN PERSON only. NO options. After this disgusting call with the branch manager, I called the main US BANK customer service line and they were able to assist in the closing of the account. Advise....Never bank here!

I've had 2 Business accounts at the same time with this bank. When I was depositing large checks, they were extremely nice and would even order me free checks. Then my business banker Kelly moved to another branch and this banks customer service went to CRAP. They started charges me fees left and right for things I never had been charged for in years. So I closed one of my accounts and moved it to California Bank & Trust. When I was about to close my 2nd account I asked the teller Mai Vang, "IF I CLOSE MY ACCOUNT TODAY, CAN I STILL GO HOME AND PRINT OUT MY YEAR STATEMENTS FOR TAX PURPOSES? OR SHOULD I GO DO THAT FIRST, THEN COME BACK AND CLOSE THE ACCOUNT? MAI said, "YES YOU CAN CLOSE THE ACCOUNT NOW AND STILL RETRIEVE YOUR STATEMENTS ONLINE!". Well she was wrong and I could not log online anymore after closing the account. I called US BANK's main line and they advised me she was wrong. I then went back to the branch and spoke with MAI VANG herself about it and she said, "SORRY I GAVE YOU THE WRONG INFO" then went to talk to her supervisor . She came back and told me she could print out all the statements I needed now but it would be $12 a page and my total for the year would $54 because they would give me a break since she was wrong. Seriously? When I could have done this for FREE but she advised me to do it this way and they wouldn't even waive the fees. I will never do business again with US BANK and I am having a lot of my friends who do business with them as well, pull their accounts and go to CA Bank & Trust.

Money stolen from my account

750.00 dollars was stolen out of my account from this branch and when I asked how this could of happened Cheryl one the mangers told me well how it happened was someone walked in with a deposit slip filled out and an Id, that's how it happened. When I asked what was on the ID like did the date of birth match she told me it wasn't their job to check the date of birth and that they were to busy to match the signature on the withdrawal slip with my signature card. I do not trust this branch. And Jason the other manager told me that he would take care of me and figure it out and call me back...I haven't heard a thing and its been four days.
