We tried to open an account with this bank when first moving from out of state. We told the truth concerning our
TRWS about what wasn't on those reports ie; credit cards stolen and our checking account fraud but they refused to open us an account. Even though we were willing to put $10,000.00 in a savings account to give the bank assurance that we were and would be honorable/good customers at Old Fort they still refused. Even a family member wouldn't help us. So I say this; "you can't have our business" this bank lost out in obtaining a substancitally large sum of money that we have just received due to a windfall.
It's good for us that it turned out the way it did because we will bank with a bank that is willing to help the customer from the get go. Their loss and another bank will benefit. To bad for Old Fort Banking we were looking for a small bank with the feel of home, and where the customers really do matter.
