Opened an account at TD approx 2 years ago. Visited 3 times to make sure we deposited enough $ not to get fees and connected ck and sav. Come to find out we were charged every single month in both accounts. Called back office many times and each time they said accts are linked and no fees should be charged. Furthermore they are charging high enough fees that we are loosing $. We can not recommend this bank and do feel they falsely advertise themselves. Also always a wait at bank and no one does job correctly. Head teller and manager worked on uour account and they each got it wrong meaning still collecting fees. WATCH YOUR $ CAREFULLY WITH THIS BANK! DON'T LET YOUR CHILDREN OPEN ACCTS HERE AS THEY WILL LOOSE $!

Never again will I open a TD Bank Financial Group account. They tell you that you have overdraft protection and that if you transfer money within 24 hours into the account that you have over-drafted, that you will NOT be charged. What they really mean is that they will charge you $35 for every overdraft regardless of their so-called protection. And if your account is "new", you are not eligible for any refunds because it is too new, even if it has been opened for more than 6 months. And forget trying to spend your money that you put into your account; if your account is "new" you are not allowed to spend over a certain amount. Seems like you're holding MY money hostage and taking advantage of the customers that keep your bank in business.

Never again will I open a TD Bank Financial Group account. I am a volunteer for a non profit org. and do the banking. I always have several transactions and went into the Godwin branch on a Saturday morn. and was told I would have to come back at another time. They were under staffed and did not want to deal with my transactions at that time. So much for most convenient bank! Only at their convenience!

I opened a business account at the bank and was treated very well! Jamie and Shannon are an asset to your institution! They should be promoted ASAP for their customer service skills! All members of the branch do a great job...I often go out of my way to stop at the Bayside Lakes Branch to do business!

Called to verify funds on an account as I have an out of state check drawn on this bank. They would not do this! Went to a local bank yesterday as I had another check that was NSF last week and the funds were there yesterday so the teller gave me a cashiers check in the place of the personal check. Would not bank with TD ever!

This branch has the friendliest and kindest atmosphere that I have ever seen. I mean soon as I walk in some guy in a 3 piece suit welcomes me in with a genuine smile an asks me if he can help me!! What bank does that?? Then when I proceed to make my deposit you have 3 tellers fighting over me? I'll tell ya they made me feel like VIP. Even when I have a problem with any of my accounts the very knowledgeable staff from the tellers all the way to the manager always go the extra 3 miles to assist me!! They help me make the right devotion when it comes to making financial decisions.. They really care I'm not just a number to them and it really shows.. And it doesnt end there as I leave the branch there is always more than one employee telling me to have a great day! TD bank the way banks should be if you ask me!!!

The extreem polarization of review results - insinuates someone is trying to manipulate the system regarding TD Bank. I am a recent account holder, but have avoided the long lines at Wells Fargo, the high minimum balances of Chase and the disproportionate banking fees at BOA. I'm a rarity in the middle

TD Bank has on several occasions signed me up for overdraft "protection" without my consent. They have told me that they have a right to do this, as well as to re-order debits so as to maximize fees. I am not alone in being a victim of their practice of charging overdraft fees on occasions when I was not overdrawn. In fact, No matter how careful you are about never over spending, you will fall into their trap of ever increasing fees and penalties. Avoid TD Bank at all costs.

Do not bank here, I fell into the trap & charged over $$$ in overdraft fees. I went into the branch & they simply did not care & see my point of view. I closed all my accounts.

BS, I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED THIS- ALL BANKS RUN A SHADOW LINE OF CREDIT- WELLS FARGO GOT SUED OVER THIS- LEARN YOUR FACTS IM IN DEFENSE OF IT TD- THEY DO MORE THAN ANY OTHER BANK AS IT HAS IT-

Whenever I need to utilize staff assistance they have always been courteous and helpful. Sometimes the answer to my questions is not known immediately, but the person has always found out the answer and gotten back to me. I also far prefer doing business with TD Bank because of uniformly good to excellent service at any bank in any state where TD has branches. I've been with other banks. For the most part other staff people are helpful, but the bank could care less about my account.

I am extremely disappointed by the lack of service and professionalism by the store manager. I know other TD branches with great service but this one is a nightmare. I have been waiting for days for a call back.....

TD Bank in Norwood is an absolute nightmare. I made a substantial deposit a while back and it never posted to my account. I went back and had to show them the carbon copy and after reviewing the security tapes they posted my money to my account. TOTALLY BIZARRE FOR 2011. Every time I go to this bank there is a problem with something. I find the tellers to be antagonistic and unhelpful. If you are looking to be totally frustrated I suggest you use TD BANK in Norwood. As much as I hate the fees at BOA I must say they are a far better operation with a much friendlier staff.

I am going again tomorrow for gift cards. The last 2 times I did this it was a big problem. Tried to tell me there was a limit and when that did not work told me I should come back during the week, which is not possible for me. My company has 2 accounts with TD Bank. They finally had me give them the list and said they could be picked up on Monday. Received a call 45 minutes later that they were ready and I must come right away to get them. Well, they were ready but instead of being in the boxes, they gave me empty boxes, the card holders all rubber banded together, no amts. on them and the gift cards were rubber banded with a post-it note between the different denominations. I then had to spend several hours putting everything together and calling to verify the amount on each card since many of the post-it notes had fallen off.
If this happens again tomorrow, accounts will be closed and moved to a bank that has some decent customer service.

When TD Bank first bought Commerce Bank the outstanding customer service and reasonable fees continued, but it wasn't long before things changed. While Commerce Bank never let more than 3 people stand in a teller line, it's not uncommon to walk into the 42nd Street branch of TD Bank these days and be the 15th person in line. Meanwhile, there are employees standing or walking around apparently oblivious. I've even seen this on Friday at the end of a pay period, when customers are cashing and depositing payroll checks.
TD Bank is absolutely not "America's Most Convenient Bank" anymore. Times have changed and their customer service has gone down the toilet!! Their competitive edge has disappeared.

I have banked with TD banks and used the different locations on many occasions. I found the staff at the Conshohocken branch extremely helpful. They helped me with my existing business and also advised me of additional ways I could make more money. I always speak highly of TD Bank

lost my money

I have never had problems with TD before, the other day i deposited $600 and the next day I went to make a purchase, my card was denied. I called them several times before I could get someone w=on the phone who could speak clear english. Then they left me on hold for an hour and never came back. Called back and the same guy answered and the same thing happened. It has now been over 48 hours and I am still having trouble trying to communicate with the bank and STILL don't have my money!!

Great bank! Great service! Great staff! The people who are complaining are the people who got declined because of poor credit (it doesn't matter what's in your account currently, it matters what your credit score is) and the people who get charged overdraft fees because THEY overdrafted their accounts. You are able to opt out of overdraft at anypoint in time, and not only that you can opt out when you create the account. The option to opt out of overdraft is always made EXPLICITLY clear by the highly trained customer service staff. Don't be fooled by these reviews, as they are written by people who cannot manage their own personal finances and people who have poor credit.
