I have no problem writing reviews on any business, good or bad. In this case I have to give high marks to the Bensalem Branch on Hulmeville Rd in Bensalem,Pa. Lets be honest this is big business and most big businesses could care less about the little guy but this branch is different. I had to get a new license because I thought I lost mine. It showed up a week later in my mailbox. I'm guessin the teller forgot to return it when I was last at the drive thru and didn't realize it. I told them that I thought they should reimburse me for the cost to replace my license and they DID! They've always been nice to me and as accommedating as possible. I'm sorry to see so many bad reviews and wanted to let anyone who reads these to see that all the stores are not bad. I guess it just depends where you go.

Horrible place. Very nice until they get you into signing up for an account. They make promises they cannot keep!!! Rude staff also.. Very disappointed

My family has done business with this bank since the 1950's; yet they treat me very badly. There are a variety of things they have said and done that i don't want to mention here. The thing is they are far too nosey and "small town" to do business effectivly.
I'm going to use the Barton branch whenever possible.

My family has done business with this bank since the 1950's; yet they treat me very badly. There are a variety of things they have said and done that i don't want to mention here. The thing is they are far too nosey and "small town" to do business effectivly.
I'm going to use the Barton branch whenever possible.

Absolutely awful. We have been banking with TD Bank in Brevard, NC for almost 4-month now. Customer service is HORRIBLE. We filed a loan application and had to call them 3 times to find out the status. They take no pride in providing quality banking service to their customers. Two of the managers at the Brevard branch are never there and impossible to get ahold of. Left multiple message with no response. We are closing our account. Do not waste your time.

i have been banking at the brevard location, one day i go to the bank and it is closed. i was never informed of this, and was told that the closet location is in hendersonville. i am very displeased with this due to , i am disabled and don't have reliable transportation. so now if i chose to keep the bank as my bank , i will incur atm fees when i use my atm card at any other bank. this is VERY BAD BUSINESS... AM CLOSING MY ACCOUNT AND RECOMMEND NO ONE TO UTILIZE THIS BANK.....

We have been banking at TD in Kingston NH since we moved here 2 years ago. The people that work in the bank are very competent, professional and extremely pleasant. We have five accounts and do a lot of business with this branch. I frequently use the drive-up window too. We have used branch services in side the bank many times, always with great service. They have a couple of notary publics on staff, and we have used that free service several times. We have never had to wait long. My little boy loves to use the automatic coin counter inside. Five star rating from us! We love this bank and the people who work there, especially as compared to the lousy service we were used to at the other bank (won't mention the name).

I would give the Princeton, NJ store a zero star rating if I could. I normally use the Hillsborough, NJ store, which is really great, however, this store is a bit closer. However... every time I have used the Princeton store I have either been treated rudely by the young tellers, the relief management staff is completely useless, and some of the full-time staff gets it wrong more than not. I HATE HATE HATE this branch. Tellers are very slow, very rude, and never prepared. Even when I call ahead solely for a quicker visit, it does nothing. They NEVER want to pull money from the vault, and leave me standing there while their machines count out tens of thousands of dollars like I have no where else to be.. The line is ALWAYS long and they take FOREVER to do the simplest of tasks. There is nothing good about this location besides the ONE teller that is polite to me, Lisette. Irene is very rude and should NOT answer phones. I am always put on hold for such long periods of times and sometimes even forgotten and left hanging on the line for close to 30 minutes before I realize they aren't returning to the call. I cannot stress enough how much I hate this location, it's a sin that it is right down the road from me.

STAY AWAY! I applied for a loan, I was conditionally approved, they received all the paperwork with in a day. After 45 days they denied me ON THE EVENING OF THE LAST BUSINESS DAY BEFORE CLOSING stating that the income is not stable. They had the information for 45 DAYS! They also told me I should purchase house insurance, which I did. They made a fool out of me. Stay away from this bank, they do not care about customers what so ever. Any bank is better than TD Bank!

Some of the most fantastic, friendly, professional, and wonderful bankers I have met. To those who complain about fees, I leave this advice as it is clearly the consumer's fault for not reading account disclosures and/or what they signed when opening their account.
If your account went negative after a year of what appears to be a "dormant" account over a $35 fee, you should have done one of three things:
#1: Place a small deposit and then a small withdrawal the following day or so to create "activity" on the account and avoid a dormant account fee.
#2: Read the account disclosures you received when opening the account. Banks often change their disclosures and mail you updated fee schedules with your statement. Most people seem to ignore these.
#3: Most times bank waive monthly fees for the first year if the minimum balance isn't maintained each month. After a year, they impose those fees (see #2 above). For example, my monthly minimum daily average requirement is $2500 checking and $500 savings on my business account. If I fall below that, I am subject to a monthly $24 fee.
These are general rules for most banks and is based upon my experience with TD Bank...I am not an employee; just a happy customer.
PS: They always have dog treats for my dog and he loves visiting the branch! No ATM for us!!

If your account went negative after a year of what appears to be a "dormant" account over a $35 fee, you should have done one of three things:
#1: Place a small deposit and then a small withdrawal the following day or so to create "activity" on the account and avoid a dormant account fee.
#2: Read the account disclosures you received when opening the account. Banks often change their disclosures and mail you updated fee schedules with your statement. Most people seem to ignore these.
#3: Most times bank waive monthly fees for the first year if the minimum balance isn't maintained each month. After a year, they impose those fees (see #2 above). For example, my monthly minimum daily average requirement is $2500 checking and $500 savings on my business account. If I fall below that, I am subject to a monthly $24 fee.
These are general rules for most banks and is based upon my experience with TD Bank...I am not an employee; just a happy customer.
PS: They always have dog treats for my dog and he loves visiting the branch! No ATM for us!!

I live in Georgia but travel to NYC every other month to tend to my mother's financial issues. The staff at this bank has ALWAYS been very friendly and helpful. GREAT attitudes even when the bank is packed. Your customer service is EXCELLENT.

I have used this bank in MA throughout the USA where available and now in MT. Pleasant. The folks there are fabulous and have even stayed past closing time to finish up with me. They are responsive when I call them on the telephone and remember me when I go inside and I haven't done that very often. Their statements are easy to read and usually correct which I cannot say about a lot of banks...If you have a problem, let the mgr. know and I bet it will be taken care of.

I swapped from bank of america because I could not stand the fees anymore. I went to TD Bank in Hampstead NH. I openned a business checking account. I made a deposit and went to get fuel or supplies for my job. The check took over a week to go through and the account went negative by $12 USD... By the time I went back to the Bank on Friday (only a few days) The account was at $310 negative because of a constant fee after fee. So I went in and said there is a check pending and I should of got $100 from that deposit as I have many many times before... It didnt show up until I went in and complained about it. They also wouldnt return any of the fees. The account was put back to positive and I walked away pissed but still keeping in mind, you need a bank account now adays. It seems like deposits go into their bank at times that will make them money in fees. if they see charges on the same day as a cash deposit, they will delay the deposit to be sure that they will get fees out of you. We then currently I deposited a check of a large amount for a big job I did. (about 2k) I had multiple people that needed to make payroll. Well the bank put a hold on the check to verify or some-crap like that, then told me it needed to clear through a longer system. I have been waiting over 2 weeks! So I have been going down there and calling randomly to see when to expect the money (keeping my cool) and they keep giving me a runaround and saying each other is not doing their jobs or not doing it correctly. I have one person who already has told me not to ask him to show up to work anymore. I called the customer (embarasingly) and told her the story, she checked and said the money was removed from her account the day she wrote me the check. I have talked to the branch managers and multiple people and finally last week (thursday) the lady told me to expect the money today (monday) and I called today and asked to speak to the person who gave me today as a date and the person who answered the phone (probably a teller) asked my name and said hold on. she came back and said she was tied up and would call me back (I have heard this every time i went into the bank and called and NEVER got a call) So this time I asked to speak to who ever was available. This time it was the branch manager. She answered the phone "Yes, [name]?" I asked when to expect the funds so I can write the checks to my guys. She said "I know that you have been told that today is the day." (angrily) "Your account is $xx.xx so it doesnt look like its there does it?" I said no, I just wasnted to know if it was definately today so I can tell my guys when to expect it. She then said "TD BANK HAS THE RIGHT TO HOLD YOUR MONEY ANY TIME THAT THEY WOULD LIKE. ESPECIALLY SINCE YOUR ACCOUNT ISNT OF HIGH VALUE TO THEM" I was floored, so here I am writing reveiws allll day to make sure my story is heard! I do not know if this is how the rest of TD is, but its not the most convenient bank for us, Its most convenient to them!

The TD Bank on the corner of Calhoun & East Bay Streets is by far the worst bank office of ANY bank I\'ve ever visited. Very poor customer service. The blonde in the very first office is the most rude person I\'ve ever had the displeasure of meeting, not to mention unprofessional and totally clueless. I needed to pick up some information for my boss who is their customer and she acted like she was bothered by me, couldn\'t find what was needed and then to top it off what she finally did give me was wrong. It is obvious that she has a problem with black people. I was told by another employee when this blonde walked away that they have had lots of complaints about her and her rude attitude. I will never step foot into this location again and my boss (who has probably 6 accounts, loans and almost a million or so on deposit with them) said he\'s sick of her attitude too and is ready to pull all of his accounts. I hope someone at TD realizes what a horrible, cold, unfriendly and RUDE person they have working here at this location!!!! I\'ll stick to First Federal. AT least the people there are nice and act like they have some professionalism.
