The ATM OUT FRONT SUCKS.   It does not recognize checks for deposit.   IWhen withdrawing, it will ask you how you want your withdrawal [5's, 20s, 50s] then kick you out telling you can't process your request, even if you select THEIR default mix.   Today is Saturday and I am waiting 20 min w only one teller working.   Do they care about wasting customers' time?

I have been a Commerce Bank customer which, if you've been in the game long enough you know became TD Bank. I really liked TD, no monthly fees, overdraft forgiveness, etc. That has gone the way of Commerce and TD became Wachovia Bank. To TD, be careful because a lot of banks end up failing because of this type of business practice and really, the last thing you want is an FDIC raid. Its not pretty. Its kind of similar to what you have been doing to thousands of your customers with overdraft fees.

Now on to specifics of this particular branch. There are three tellers at all times but you cannot use a teller for a replacement debit card, no. You need to use one of the "bankers". Now this is a horrible ordeal every single time. My debit card was phished/cloned - whatever. I called TD explained what happened, Sarah was great. I stupidly said I would go to my local branch for the replacement card. Figured that would be faster.

I went during my lunch, couldn't get my card. Two people at the desks, doing god knows what. One person, kept floating about the branch. To me she was doing nothing. I leave because my job is more important than this. I went back Saturday, got to the branch at 1200, left at 1345. An hour and forty five minutes.

They have no queue system in place, so these two women just cut in front of me and the people who were behind me. TD how about a check in process for this to ensure that others don't cut the line? Or perhaps permit the tellers to print debit cards? Or maybe, where the old "Penny Arcade" machines are you can install - a debit card printer? I know this may be blasphemy, but its efficient.

So I had to sit there, for over an hour, needing to use the restroom for something that literally took ten minutes to do. This is a waste. My time is just as important as everyone else's time. To whit, I mention this ineffectiveness and overall waste of EVERYONE's time to the person assisting me whom agreed with me.

To make things every better, the bank manager seems to be either drugged or completely burned out and I guarantee its because of your practices. You need to hire more people TD. YOU need to make a lot of changes because you will be continuously sued or end up like Merrill Lynch.

I, could not agree more.
The way this bank operates, is like the third world bank. The staff are often surly and seem to be on edge. Never a kind word to the client. They seem to forget, that they keep pour money use it for their purposes, and when it cmes to withdrawl, are most condescending.
I, jad just such an experience today. I, went to the South Plainfield Branch on South Plainfield Ave, to deposit a cheque. At the same time, I requested them to please give me
a mini state, ent and a balance on the account. At first there was no query or other wise. Subsequently, I, was asked to provide an ID. Which I thought I did, but unfortunately was not one. So I apologised for the error on my part,. and sent in my Drivers License, which has a photograph of myself
F inally, I, asked the teller to please let me speak to a Manager, some young lady came on, answered to the Name of Natasha, claimed to be the Manager. Now the tone and manner of her speaking, was definitely not that one in authority, but some one trying to tell me what I, should be doing.
Not only was she obnoxious and rude but did not seem to care whether, I was satisfied or not.
I, definitely will be looking into changing my bank, even though I have banked with this one starting out as a Commerce Bank. Not only myself, but I am sure there a large number of customers who would do the same, if they can find the time from their busy daily affairs.
What a surprise!

I've been a loyal customer for many years. The staff has always been friendly and professional. A woman, Karen, waited on me, and I couldn't believe her poor attitude. The first thing I saw was Karen, an angry looking woman holding her head up with her hand! She treated me in a robotic manner, and gave me the impression I was bothering her. Next time I go into the bank, I will definitely ask for someone else to help me if she is there. Before Karen, I would give this bank an overall rating of five stars. I don't deserve an "attitude" from an employee of my bank!

I've never had to wait so long in line at the bank before in my life. Horrible service I will be withdrawing my money shortly there are never enough tellers. I have complained to the branch before but they just don't care

Bernie, when i was the manager there i would beg for more tellers. The stores run on a certain model in terms of scheduling employees and many factors play into that model from customer service levels to payroll budget. It really isn't that they don't care in the store. It's stressful enough having people yell in your face because they think you are moving too slow and there is a line out the door and the are only 3 tellers. So believe me if they could do something they would. I advise everyone to write to corporate about that. The staff count is not within the control of any of the employees in the store. Not even the store manager. This is why the employees leave after a while. Everyday is a bad day at work and The stress is beyond unimaginable so they are just cranky all day because they see no relief coming to fix that (not an excuse, just the real reason why).  If the staffing model was improved the service would be so much better.

I had money taken out of my checking account WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION from me to pay my medical insurance. Now they want me to fill out a form so I can get my money back in a week or so. I need my money to pay other bills. I called to speak with the Reginal Mgr. they said she is traveling and they don't know the number. I asked her how do they get in touch with the Reginal.I then asked her to speak with the VP in charged with Consumer Banking. She told me that she can not find him. Obviously I was getting the round around. Terrible. If they don't fix this I'm going somewhere else.

I've been with this bank for a couple years. This particular branch used to have a very nice employee who usually served me. She knew exactly who my boyfriend and I were and she was always extremely helpful and went out of her way to make our experience a good one. She ended up leaving because she hated working for TD and began working at a competitor across the street. After she left, I really noticed the lack of respect and customer service provided by some of the other employees. There is one employee (always wear her brown hair in a ponytail, no makeup, clothes sloppy) who has been very rude to my mother and I on multiple occasions when we have stopped in to make deposits or exchange Canadian dollars. She is condescending and always blames the customer when she makes a mistake or is not explaining things clearly. She is the main reason I am rating the bank so low. I dread seeing her frowning face when I pull up to the window. I have dealt with one of the managers and she was quite nice and helpful. There is a blonde girl who is also very nice and helpful. Two of the other girls that have served me are constantly laughing at jokes their coworkers are making while they're serving me. They barely acknowledge that I'm there and push my deposit slip through to me with barely a "Have a nice day." It would be great if they would fire those few employees who offer poor service, I would like their bank much better, but from what I've heard TD offers poor benefits and employees who work for them are generally unhappy so it's hard to get good employees to stay.

The only thing I completely HATED about this bank was that they charge you $15 a month to bank with them if you do not keep a certain amount in your checking account.  The fee is automatically withdrawn every month.  Really, why should someone bank with you if they have to pay you $15 a month?  Stupid.  But other than that TD Bank is easy to deal with and they have great customer service, especially at this location. Though, I withdrew my money and I'm banking elsewhere now.

Why cant you (or won't) list the phone number when looking up the branch ?  I have spent 10 minutes trying to find the phone number.... Still have to go to the hard copy phone book.
What are they doing inside while I wait in the car to have a simple check cashed ? Not user friendly...

I have been a customer with the bank for over 20 yrs back when it was Bank East, Farmington National, Bank of New Hampshire, TD Banknorth and now TD Bank.  I have seen a lot of changes in this bank since it has become TD Bank.  I am appauld at the fact that in 90 degree weather these tellers have to wear "sweaters".  Are you kidding me? It looks totally stupid especially in a "resort town" of Wolfeboro.  What is the matter with a nice "cool" polo shirt with your Logo.  Shame on the person that has to make people where this stupid looking sweaters in this heat.  Is it a "Power Play" over employees.  Another aggrevating thing is you took all the pictures of "Wolfeboro" off the walls and only have advertisments of "TD Bank" stuff.  It looks cold.  What about some pictures of "The Oldest Summer Resort" in America" on the walls.  Shame on you.  Another cold idea by someone.  Look at your ratings, people.  You are not listening to your customers.  Your Wolfeboro employees are wonderful.  Start taking care of them and listen when they ask you for something.  I have been in business for 20 years.  You keep people by treating them like you would want to be treated.  You would like to wear a long sleeve sweater in 100 degree heat.  I hope you are abiding by the same rules.
You require me to rate you.  Your employees are top notch and would give them an excellant rating.  The way you treat your staff is poor. The company itself to me is very poor.  I would not want to ever work for a company like TD Bank.
I have thought very seriously about moving my business and personal accounts to a "small local bank" but your employees have keep me coming back.  Your employees make you money.  Take care of them.

Sincerely,

Upset customer..

TD Bank replaced Riverside Bank in Titusville. I don't really expect much from any bank except that they are available to cash checks, accept deposits, and provide courteous professional service.  TD Bank in Titusville meets those requirements.  Also, TD Bank is open on Saturdays and Sundays, which is great for me.
