You call the branch and you will have at least 20 rings to talk to real person. You visit the branch and you have to wait
at least 10 min. to talk to someone.
The branch manager is icy cold, worst service-oriented. Never say I am sorry.
She does't have any consideration for the clients.

I went to the Wall St branch and it is very disorganized. I tried to obtain assistance from the male suits on the right who sit at empty desks. They all ignored me. Only one had a customer. They avoided eye contact. I asked one of them if I could get assistance. He said I had to wait for a customer representative and walked away. I waited about ten minutes and no one was assisting me. On the left side of the bank there were two female employees who seemed to be working much harder than the male suits. But I had no idea what they were doing. I observed customers arrive after me and they assisted them. I left frustrated and unassisted with my banking business. I will try another branch.

This bank will tell you one thing, then act upon something totally different and blame the other person for not giving the right info. This has happened many times, they all should be held accountable for anything one of their employees say, each is a spokesperson for that business. They stink, they lie and you pay the price...

The bank manager is not courteous. Very abrupt. Does not smile. Cold as ICE! If it were up to me, I would withdraw all our company money from this bank yesterday.

My experiences over the past 10 years have been excellent. I have a mortgage and two accounts with them. Excellent service and hours. I generally use Warrensburg, NY, Lake George, NY or Bolton Landing, NY branch.

Couldn't exchange foreign coins and seemed very annoyed by the follow-up question, could ANY TD Bank branch exchange foreign coins. Rude and trashy. (But I must say the folks who work here are usually very nice.)

I was out of town and did not have my account log-on info with me.  I called the branch on Saturday at 2:45 p.m (they close at 3 p.m.) to check whether a $5,000 deposit has hit my account.  She seemed annoyed by my call and immediately put me on hold and never came back to the phone.  I was literally on hold for 30 minutes. By then the bank was closed.  I never got to talk to a person again and still had no way of finding out whether my deposit had hit.  That was dirty.  Considering I have three business accounts there, you would think they would treat their own customers better. That was a dirty tactic to avoid handling my request...a request that they could have handled in two minutes as I had my acct # with me.

Edgar a manager at the Liberia Branch in Manassas was playing stink finger with a female employee.  He then stole 10 dollars from a deposit. When he was ch alleged he said the money fell on the floor. I am withdrawing all of money after that experience.  Edgar is just a little flatus person.

I called Customer Service and asked if I could have their Auditng Dept. phone number. I was told that Auditing would tell me the same thing, to come in and fill out a form. I was being stonewalled.  This is a total breakdown in the Branches controls. It goes against their policies and procedures when someone takes money out of your checking account who is not authorized. The Branch Mgr. and the VP in charge of consumer banking should be held accountable.

I had money taken out of my checking account WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION from me to pay my medical insurance. Now they want me to fill out a form so I can get my money back in a week or so. I need my money to pay other bills. I called to speak with the Reginal Mgr. they said she is traveling and they don't know the number. I asked her how do they get in touch with the Reginal.I then asked her to speak with the VP in charged with Consumer Banking. She told me that she can not find him. Obviously I was getting the round around. Terrible. If they don't fix this I'm going somewhere else.

DO NOT BANK WITH TD BANK. I repeat...... DO NOT BANK WITH TD BANK. I am a college student working my way through school & obviously trying to save as much $ as possible. I've had about 5 situations where TD bank just completely made that hard to do... I had a situation where an unauthorized credit (well 2) showed up on my account from Texas... I live in DE. I was told that the credits to my account would NOT be refunded to me & on top of that I had to pay the overdraft fee!! This has happened 2 times in the last 2 years where I have lost $70 each time because of overdraft fees.. After getting charges to my account which were NOT authorized by me. I've had terrible experiences trying to get refunded the money which I work so hard for. Lastly, I had $700 stolen from me about 1 1/2-2 years ago..... $700!!!!! Someone went through all of the cars Infront of my house & a few neighbors & stole my purse (with all of my information in it; debit card, card #, info to get into my account)! I had about 5 withdrawals from various gas stations from 4-6 am. They were able to withdraw $100 2 times & $500 was taken out at their last stop! I called the police, reported it & they ended up finding my purse in a trashcan at a Wawa about 15 mins away from my house! I called TD explained everything to them, brought this branch a copy of my police report, & kept in contact with the police. They never found out who did it; the police weren't too worried about reviewing the tapes for me at the gas stations because it was a "small claim" since only $700 of my hard worked for $ was stolen. One of the employees at this branch had the nerve to tell my dad & me that it was most likely one of my friends who stole my money!!!!! & that they have no proof that it wasn't a false claim! Even though I had the report right Infront of her! & about a week before that when I went in the first time.. The guy that helped me file the claim told me 9 out of 10 times when situations like this happen the money always gets credited back!!! The money was NEVER credited back to me to this day. The fact that an employee at TD bank would tell a crying 20 year old, devastated about the large sum of money stolen from them was probably a friend or was a false claim is beside me!! Most of the employees are useless & will fight with you to try to make a point, rather than diffuse the situation. Do not bank at TD. I've had nothing but bad & frustrating experiences.

I have found the staff and the overall bank responsiveness to be excellent.  Their hours a great-- even open on Sunday. Their rates are comparable to most other banks, however, their refinance rates beat any other major bank -- especially Bank of American and Citibank.

Canadians beware!!! Not they same customer service you may be used too in Canada. Slow, unprofessional and rude. Don't choose this bank out of convience. It will be anything, but convient. On one bright note the Bank Manger was very professional in helping us close the account and tried to rectify the situation.

TD Bank mailing monthly mortgage bills with incorrect amounts or not mailing them at all.

I refinanced with TD Bank one year ago. For some reason, they mail bills for mortgages monthly rather than sending me 12 payment slips at the beginning of the year. This year, they sent me a bill for the payment due March 1st, and I paid it, only to get a letter from them telling me I had paid the wrong amount. Well, I paid the amount on the bill. Apparently, they changed the escrow amount they wanted for the March first payment, but didn't update the bill. Fine, so I went to a branch and paid the difference. Normally, they send the bill to me 6-7 weeks before it is due. I am entering this on 3/1/2014, and I haven't received a bill for 4/1/2014 yet. Considering what happened with the previous bill, I was nervous. So I went online to pay the bill and their web site said it didn't recognize the loan number and zip code I entered, even though I was reading it off a previous bill as I typed and double and triple checked it. Okay, so now I go down to the branch to ask what is wrong, and the teller tells me she can't access any information about my mortgage other than my last payment. She told me I could call the mortgage department on Monday to get more information. As she tells me this she's sort of trying to hide the fact that she's laughing at me. Now I have to call the mortgage department on Monday and ask for their help to straighten out the second month in a row where they are making it hard for me to pay my mortgage. This is becoming a second job for me that I don't have the time for. When someone's credit is on the line, it is cruel to make it so difficult for the person to resolve issues with their account. If you want to avoid problems like this avoid TD Bank. I wish I could, but I can't get an interest rate this good if I refinance. I wish I had stayed with Beneficial Bank. I was with them 10 years for mortgages and never had a problem.
