The interest rate on their high yield savings accounts have provided quite a bit of income.  Bought a bunch of CDs too.  All easy to do. No fees or penalties paid ever.  Wound up getting some credit cards too.  Autopay has been flawless.  They are not our only bank but so far the best.  

[3 years later] - HYS interest rate took quite a hit with Fed rate reductions making Synchrony more than 1/2% lower than others.  We moved most out of this bank.  Website does not offer an option to Cancel a Matured CD.  This requires a phone call and long wait.

I have a Walmart credit card frm GE Capital Bank..ive had it for 4+yrs never had a problem...I pay my bill through the Walmart credit services my payment posts the next day..im surprised to see bad reviews on here

I have several accounts with GE and never have experienced any problems.  My accounts are all in good standing and all my payments and transactions have been accurate. The only problem I've had is that I cannot always log into their website to check my account balance. For somereason the profie and password I created no longer work?
