My sister and I went to the Maumelle Branch after trying to open a Trust account at a different Bank-unsuccessfully. We thought let's true Simmons. It is convenient. We walked in with no appointment. John Hathaway explained that he would be with us in a moment as the Bank was just opening. Within five minutes we were at his desk with our documents needed to open the account. The documents were forwarded to legal which is mandatory for all banks. Received a call later that day that legal required no additional documents and we could open the account. We went bank and opened the account with no hassles. All questions were answered. John told us to log into the account before we left so we did with no issues. We walked in the bank not knowing what to expect but John was familiar with Trust accounts and he was very patient and answered our questions.

Severely understaffed & no one answers the phone. If I send a message thru their website I get a return message that says they will answer in 1-3 days. How can ANY bank even exist in todays business climate? I have been a client of this bank more than 20 years when in Collinsville & thru several changes of ownership. Since they were bought by Simmons, the service has been abysmal. What does it really take just to answer a simple question on the phone?

Plan on sitting in line for 20+ mins to cash checks. They only have one lane now that they done away with the video tellers. Video tellers were great in many peoples opinion but why listen to what the customers want. Local staff is great.

Phone calls to this branch are a nightmare. Busy or message that the number has been changed. 2 occasions I have received other customers activity reports instead of mine. Unacceptable. My paperwork for my real estate renewal has been lost. Called the main office they said they would look into it. Never got a reply. Needless to say I am very disappointed and frustrated.

I've had an account with this bank since 1999 and then moved overseas to work but kept my account which I've had active for almost 20 years. I recently requested a debt card but was told that I've to be physically present in one of their branches in order to apply for a new debit card. I tried for more than 3 months to explain to them that I'm living outside the United States now and it simply does not make sense to fly specially all the way from Dubai to Little Rock in order to get a debit card but they insisted! I even called the president of the bank and explained my situation but had no help. It is a disgrace considering that I've a reasonably large amount in my account, especially when I still regularly (monthly) deposit part of my salary with them. I'll definitely close my account with them as soon as get back home.

I have an account at what used to be Metropolitan National Bank and have been trying to send an email to Lindsey Dean at what is now Simmons First National Bank. I now live in South Africa and am a missionary supported by The Bible Church of Little Rock on Cantrell Road. I talked to Lynsey this week about a wire transfer from my account and she promised me it would be sent, but then Leeza who was art the bank a few week ago when I called promised the same and the wire transfer never came through. Lyndsey asked me to give her the details in an email. I tried to do that with the email address she gave me and it keeps coming back as undeliverable. I am a pastor of a church here and we are redoing our church kitchen and need the money immediately. The contractor will not proceed until we pay him more money. So we need the money for the church. Please pass this information on to Lyndsey or give me the correct email address and I will contact her. Sharon Casey was the bank manager when we established the account; then it was Johnathan who did facilitate a transfer for us; then it was Leeza who made a promise and didn't keep it and now it has been Lindsey whose email doesn't work. I don't know how else to contact Lindsey or the bank on Cantrell road - so I'm hoping this will produce some results. I rated the bank as I did because of our present experience of trying to get this wire transfer of money that we worked hard to acquire and now wouyld like to use a small part of it for the work of the church. We will be in the Little Rock area at the Bible Church in June and will visit the bank on Cantrell Road to try to find out why we are having such a difficult time. We never had this problem with Sharon or Jonathan and can't understand why we are now having such difficulty,

I made a deposit at 10 am that was not posted to my account that day. I should have known to beware, this teller told me a US Passport was not a valid form of identification!!!!
Should have just asked for my deposit back and drove to another location. I have been a customer for 20 plus years and this was the worst experience ever at a Simmons location.
