I am shocked to see any negative comments about this bank! This is by far the best bank I have dealt with. Anne is an absolutely outstanding banker there. I've called her on many occasions asking her to open an account, give us a loan, transfer funds, etc. and she just handles it! Banking with Regions makes doing business easy.
Don't go here!

I have had many bad experiences at the Regions Bank Causeway location in Metairie, LA. Things not being processed correctly, rude and very slow service by tellers at the drive up, opened a new checking account after my current one had money stolen from it, lady that opened the account gave me wrong information and didn't fix things on old account that assured me she would. Now the latest, they told me completely wrong information about processing a signature card for a new savings account and I haven't had access to the account now because of that wrong information given to me by them and the Regions customer service line. I'm quickly losing faith in Regions bank. If you use this branch, be very careful!

THIS IS THE WORSE BANKING INSTITUTION I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF DEALING WITH. THE 9421 Baymeadows Road
Jacksonville, FL 32256 MAKE NUMEROUS ERRORS, ASSUMPTIONS, ACCUSATIONS AND OUTRIGHT DISCRIMINATORY ACTIONS/COMMENT. REFUSED TO TALK TO ME BECAUSE MY ENGLISH IS LIMITED EVEN THOUGH I HAD SOMEONE WITH ME THAT TRANSLATED WHEN NEEDED, THEY SAID TO SIT DOWN THEY'D GET A TRANSLATOR ON THE PHONE, I TOLD THEM I DIDN'T NEED ONE, OVER THREE HOURS LATER, I HAVE YET TO SPEAK WITH A TRANSLATOR. THEY KEPT ME AT THE BANK FOR OVER THREE HOURS, REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANY OF MY MONEY CLAIMING SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY ON MY ACCOUNT TURNS OUT THEY WERE READING THE INFORMATION WRONG, TALKING ABOUT WIRE TRANSFERS FROM MY ACCOUNT TO BUSINESSES, THEN IT WENT TO CHECKS BEING DEPOSITED THEN THEY HAD TO GET A TRANSLATOR THEN THEY NEEDED TO VERIFY ALL MY DEPOSITS, CALLED MY ATTORNEY, REQUESTED COPY OF ID'S TO VERIFY SIGNATURES, THERE WAS NOT ONE WIRE TRANSFER ON MY ACCOUNT. MY HUSBAND HAD TO LEAVE WORK TO COME TO THE BANK BECAUSE THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY WITHOUT HIS NAME BEING ON THE CHECK EVEN THOUGH HIS NAME IS NOT ON MY BANK ACCOUNT. I GUESS THE WAY I FELT WAS THE WAY A CRIMINAL FEELS, THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS, I DID NOTHING WRONG AND YET WAS TREATED LIKE ONE. WE WERE THREATENED TO BE THROWN OUT THE BANK IF I DIDN'T SIT DOWN AND REMAINED QUIET BY AMANDA LAKEY AND A GUY NAME ERIC, AT THIS POINT, LISA CAN ONLY RUN BACK AND FORTH CHATTING WITH THE STAFF AND GETTING NOTHING DONE. IT TOOK ME REQUESTING TO SPEAK WITH HER SUPERIOR BEFORE ANYTHING WAS DONE. THE MANAGER WAS BAFFLED BY THE LENGTH OF TIME THEY KEPT US THERE FOR NO REASON WHAT-SO-EVER AND MORE IMPORTANTLY ALL THIS TIME NOT REPORTING ANY SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITIES. THEY DID NOTHING WHILE THEY WAITED, ONCE THE MANAGER ANGELA CAME ON THE PHONE, SHE INSTANTLY CONFIRMED THERE WAS NO REASON FOR ANY OF THE EVENTS THAT TOOK PLACE, THEY HAD ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR ANY OF IT. LISA AS THE MANAGER SHOULD HAVE ASKED US WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM NOT JUMP TO CONCLUSION AND JOIN THE BANK WAGON OF HARRASSMENT. THE BRANCH MANAGER LISA ANDREWS LACKS PROFESSIONALISM AND MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOU WALKED INTO A BAR INSTEAD OF A BANKING INSTITUTION. IT DOES NOT PROVIDE THE CONFIDENCE SOMEONE NEEDS IN THEIR BANKING INSTITUTION OR FINANCIAL MATTERS FOR THEIR HARD EARNED/LIFE LINE. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR FUNDS AT THIS BANK. IT'S QUITE SCARY. I GIVE THIS BANK -100 OUT OF 10. THEY ARE BY FAR THE WORSE BANK I HAVE EVER SEEN OR HEARD OF. HARD TO BELIEVE THERE IS ONE WORSE THAN BANK OF AMERICA, I WAS WITH BANK OF AMERICA FOR 12 YEARS, BUT REGIONS BANK IS BY FAR WORSE THAN ANY BANK I HAVE EVER SEEN OR HEARD OF.

Not a great place to work. The manager was horrible who was Mitch Oakes at the time. He was so unprofessional. Don t work for this company if you hate toxic workplaces. Jeanna Dearman is especially a horrific bully. I and another colleague quit due to her unprofessionalism. We both reported her to Human Resources and the CEO but nothing was done about it And we were all together ignored. Unless management has changed. I would steer clear of this location. Even though I was making good pay. It wasn't worth the stress and mental torment dealing with the manger and her. Only God can be the judge. If they don t pay in this life then they will pay in the next life to come, which is hell. To end with a serious note, this was not a fun place for me to work. Anyone suffering from workplace bullying knows what I mean. I just thought it would be helpful to let people know what there're getting into before choosing to work for this company and at this location. I wish somebody would have told me.

Bank tellers were alright and the woman manager was helpful. When you walk into the bank on Blue Angel Parkway, there's a office with 2 cubical's. The first one on the left is where I had my problem. The man was rude, disrespectful, and didn't care whatsoever. I have never had anyone be so inconsiderate in my life and he is the reason I am changing banks. Long story short he could of helped but didn't just made the situation worst. Call centers told me I have to deal with him so no help there either. I loved my old bank but changed because I moved, now regretting it.

This branch has been horrible since it opened! The ATM is constantly out. You can file a complaint but it never changes. The countless times I have had to go to the Trinity Location is unreal due to their ATM being out. Unless you take off work and go into their office they will not return your calls to discuss a matter on your account. This is the manager. I have left 4 messages in two days with no call back. It is a different person each time the phone is answered so I am sure she has at least gotten 1 message. I called at 8:34 am on the 2nd day. Four minutes after they open and was still told the manager was with a customer. Really?????

I have been waiting since Nov.27th. for a fee to be removed from my personal checking account , a fee Regions said they would remove ! I believe Regions is manipulating their cut off dates to capture fees on the time a direct deposit is required to have been made for personal accounts. For some strange reason, Regions cut off date always seems to be the day before the Social Security makes their electronic deposit. Thus, they capture a fee.
To date, Regions continues to hold my $8.00 fee and apparently lied about giving it back !

On Nov. 7th, 2012 I went to make a weekly deposit for our business. I had over 50k in checks and cash that day. Everything was "business as usual". The teller (at the drive through) took the usual amount of time, he was friendly and he gave me my "customer receipts" with all the correct information. A couple of days later, I checked our account and realized that one of the checks that was deposited as a credit, actually showed up as a "debit". I called our personal banker Jennifer at the South Beach Branch, and she was completely puzzled. Had no idea why that would happen. She said that she needed to "do some research" and call me back. Which she did to tell me that it was a "bank error". The check was scanned improperly and went in as a DEBIT instead of a CREDIT. I've never heard of such a thing before! Needless to say, the owner of our business and I were NOT satisfied with that response! The check was over 8k!!!! I asked Jennifer how would I, the customer, ever know? If we didn't check our account on a regular basis, we would have never found it! That's SO disconcerting! So BEWARE people. After A deposit, GO ONLINE AND CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT! MAKE SURE YOUR CHECKS SHOW UP AS "CREDIT" INSTEAD OF "DEBIT"!

Went to regions to cash a regions reimbursement check and at the regions bank in Belle Chasse they told me they could not cash it because the bank had no funds. If you write a check that does not have funds they charge you. Had awful service especially with Misty she was rude, abrupt, and didn't even try to help.

Worst bank in Delray.
1. High fees
2. Unpleasant employees (especially the manager Adele)
3. Lousy hours
4. Antiquated services, processes, and systems
5. Will make you wait even they have no other customers to serve.
6. They will ALWAYS put the maximum hold on your check as allowable by law. It doesn't matter if you have $50,000 on deposit and have been a perfect customer for 10 years -- they still treat you like a crook!

When it comes to banks, my expectations are low. Very low. I don't need special attention, my needs are simple and I seldom require interaction with an actual person. So when I do need to interact with a person, it would be off great benefit if the person were able to actually provide assistance, rather than repeat (nearly verbatim) the automated responses from the phone system.
Also, a large part of the reason I no longer bank with Regions is the inability to cash a check on Saturdays and their fees. I could handle an ineffective staff, but I refuse to pay a fee for it.

When I started banking with Regions over 2 years ago, service was good, customers were treated with respect and problems were handled promptly and appropriately. However, that's changed dramatically as of this year. They have ZERO customer service skills. I've been dealing with account disputes totaling almost $400 for almost 2 months now, and the incompetent branch manager, customer service center and dispute center have been passing the buck to other departments and no one is helping me to get the issues resolved. I think they staff their positions with people who have a pulse, no other skills required. I am filing federal and state financial institution complaints, and am dissolving my relationship with Regions immediately.

AS a small business with about 100 employees we set up up a long term loan for 25 years to purchase a facility and their bank representatives never met with us. It turns out THEY CALCULATED THE PAYMENTS WRONG. It is the worst financial experience I have ever had with a bank especially dealing with such a large transaction. They never met with us to review the documents to come to an understanding of the errors and problems. STAY AWAY from Regions because they will try to rip you off from your profits and revenues.

I was at your Columbia SC location today to cash my 15 yr old sons
check from his grandparents, he signed the back of the check and I
signed underneath. The teller informed me that she could not cash this
check because my son was not with me. I have never had this issue when
cashing any of my sons birthday or christmas checks for them as they
seldom receive checks that need cashing anyway. The manager was called
over to help handle this major transaction of $250.00 . After a few
minutes he decided that he would make an exception and go ahead and
cash it for me. By then It was too late and I was frustrated and ready
to leave, I had just finished work and thought I could run in cash a
check for my son from his grandparents and be back on the road before
rush hour started. After all I had been a good customer for many years
and I have never had this type of problem before. I guess my question
is before I drag my son downtown (since regions closed my local
location down) what type of identification does he need birth
certificate, school ID, or a letter from his mother?
I am receiving a sizable settlement at the end of the summer, I will
have a hard time handing any of it to a bank that wouldnt even cash a
check for me without seeing my son first, after my years of being your
customer I feel you dont trust me at all. Should I trust you? Let me
know what form of ID my son needs to bring. Please let me know if this
is your policy.

Disputing an ach check on my account that I didn't write at tuscaloosa branch on bryant blvd in tuscaloosa. Don't think it would be fair to name woman in office but she was absolutely no help. Went in a month ago (or over) to dispute this ach and filed a complaint and filled out paperwork with her. Had heard nothing from them. Went by again today and talked to same woman and got answer she didn't know where dispute stood. Asked how long it took to dispute this and she said didn't know. Told her all I wanted was image of check for district attorney and she said I would need to subpoena the check thru my lawyer. Then puts me on phone with Bruce(who I think is fair to name). Bruce is head of security at regions bank and he gets on phone telling me to listen to him, telling me to shut my mouth, that there is no way he can get an image or paperwork on the ach and then tells me to leave the bank, says I am asking to many questions. Bruce is on a real power trip. Has very high opinion of himself. He then hangs up on me and calls woman back up and she starts tearing up and sniffling and telling me I have to leave bank or I will be arrested. All of this because I am disputing a 25 dollar check. Dealing with a control freak security guy(thought he was supposed to be helping customers) and an emotionally unstable woman. Branch manager came over (she couldn't have been nicer) and I tried to explain to her but pms unstable woman is sniffing and wiping her eyes that I need to go. Earlier she had been rolling them like it was a pain in her backside to help a customer who had check fraud committed against him. All of the negativity by other customers about regions does not surprise me after my last two visits to regions. Had been a long time customer but no more. Am going to get this 25 dollar thing handled(it is a matter of principal) but had to vent my feelings about regions. Very obvious why stock dropped from its high a few years ago to where it is now. Also asked if mine and Bruce's call was recorded( when I called to file complaint about unstable woman and Bruce) and they said if he didnt tell me it wasn't recorded. Next time all my dealings with regions are going to be recorded. Long winded and not over until I get image of check or $25 deposited. Ack in my account.
