I made a Cash Deposit one the 8th, my receipt says the 9th and the money is not in my account. After realizing this I called the Bentonville branch where I made the deposit the manager told me it was a system error and he would have it fixed on Monday, oh and that even though it was cash it wouldn't show up right away (I used to work for a bank this is not true).

The branch manager for Regions Bank by Innsbrook should not be a manager. This is the last issue I will have with Regions because I will be closing all 7 accounts I have with them starting tomorrow. When asked if she would rather me keep my money in her bank or lose my business over a $15 charge she pretty much wished me the best and lied to me and said there was nothing she could do. For real you mean to tell me I am suppose to believe that you can't credit back an account. This use to be a great branch and since this lady has taken over it is terrible I was once told because I don't have a good re-pore or don't come in the bank everyday that I could not be trusted to cash a check over a certain amount but if they knew me than I could. What? I have been with Regions since 1993 and the service of this bank in the last year is just terrible they use my money to make money than turn around and charge me a fee for not keeping enough money in one of my accounts. I don't even know what to say to that other than best of luck Regions I will be finding me a new bank tomorrow.

I've been banking with Regions since May,2011 and they have royaly screwed me over and over. If you call on the phone one person tells you one thing and if you go in someone else tell you something else. God forbid you check your account online, it's never accurate!!!!Wish I would've read the reviews first. As of today I will no longer be a victim. ACCOUNT CLOSED BY END OF BUSINESSS DAY...TODAY!!!!

This Charlotte location of Regions Bank is headed by Ed Hawes. He terminated from BofA five years ago. When I found out he was involved in Regions Bank I didn't walk away I ran. My experience with Mr. Hawes when he was at BofA was a total and complete nightmare. Do not do business with Regions in Charlotte or Ed Hawes. He obviously didn't last long at BofA and that was for a very good reason!!!!

My husband was treated badly all three times I have taken him to this bank. He was still in his work clothes and before the teller would give him his money she asked another teller if she should call the manager-Which she did-although she had already cashed his check and counted it out in front of him. He was in high spirits when he went into this bank (job finished and got paid). He even commented "Let's see how this goes today" I asked if he needed me to go w/him, he said "If I need you I'll come to the door". Which tells me he was already expecting to be "Snubbed". I intend to go to this bank and have a talk with everyone of those tellers-manager too- and explain to them how hard he works for his money and how very rude and childish of them to treat him like this. Had he not been so upset, I would have went back in right then. It is Cruel to 'snubb' people because of the way they are dressed. He is a good, honest, hard-working man, and I am furious!!! This is so unacceptable! I will e-mail the Branch, General and District Manager to be sure they know what is going on in Saks, Alabama. I have been with him for 11 years. And it is my job to protect and care for him is situations like this. I'm sure I'm NOT the only Wife who feels this way. Johnnie Starr Welch.

We have tried to do business with Regions over the years, but we have finally had it. We used Regions to purchase a piece of property in Louisiana (we live out of state). We thought we were doing the right thing to establish ourselves with a local bank. The mortgage process and result was screwed up right from the beginning and the most frustrating loan we have ever processed (and we've had many involving lots more dollars). Prior to that, we had opened a checking account because we felt that using checks drawn on a local bank would be more acceptable vs. our out of state checks. We live in New England part of year and in Lousiana part of the year. Now they have started charging my account $5.00 every time I MAIL them a deposit to my own account!!!! There are no Regions Banks in all of New England. If I go to the bank itself, they don't charge me to make a deposit to their account-why should they charge me for a deposit I MAIL to my account? It's rediculous. We are looking to move our account to another bank immediately.

I checked my account online on Monday and all items had cleared and deducted from my account with a balance of about $53.00. There was one charge of about $36.00 that had not gone through. I stopped at Publix and bought about $42.00, knowing full well that I would have a $35.00 NSF fee. On Tuesday, I looked at my account online, and I had SIX $35.00 NSF fees! The charge at Publix's and been moved through first, and the other six very small amounts had been bounced! These were charges that ranged from between $2.00 and $6.00. And now each one has a $35.00 fee attached. As the ad says, You can open a checking account with Regions in less than 10 minutes. What they fail to tell you is that they will cheat you out of your money overnight.THANK YOU REGIONS BANK OF VILLA RICA, GA!

I have had a home equity LOC for 4 years and yes it still has a balance. Due to the fact that the economy stinks, and I no longer have any equity in my home, I have chosen not continue to use my LOC. Responsible right? So what does Regions do... they pop me with a $50 non-activity fee for not using it. So in essence they are penalizing me for being a responsible banker. They are penalizing me for not putting them or myself at further financial risk. Oh and speaking with supervisors and managers, well guess what? There is "nothing we can do about this". GARBAGE! I used to be in the banking industry and there is ALWAYS something that can be done. It's just a matter of wanting to. God forbid anyone at Regions go out of there way to do SOMETHING and go home feeling like "wow, I actually helped someone out today". We are all struggling to make ends meet these days and those of us who are trying to be responsible and have kept making our payments just keep getting screwed. What's the point in trying to do the right thing. NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

I am very dissappointed with this branch of REGIONS and the overall banking practices the REGIONS follows. When I opened my account in Mandarin last year, I was very, very specific as to what I wanted in the way of service and options. I was assured that there was no difference between BOA and REGIONS. LIE!!! There is a whole lot of difference! Their ONLINE BANKING is pathetic! There is a delay of up to 5 days before the payment makes it to your payee. Rediculous in this DAY AND AGE! Then the kicker was.. I discovered that there was a pending $500.00 fraudulent charge on my DEBIT CARD and I rushed to this branch immediatly. I was told there was nothing they could do and I had to wait to file a complaint after the payment went through....WHAT? THAT'S JUST STUPID!!! I left and called the SHERIFFS OFFICE. An officer came out to my home where I filed a report. That afternoon, an Agent from WHITE COLLAR CRIME, a division of the FBI called me and told me that he, "COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT REGIONS, REFUSED ME" The one thing the bank rep did do was give me the billing information. SUPPOSIBLY, I had purchased an item from an on-line company in California. I called them, they had flagged the purchase as suspicous and had stop the billing and had already REFUNDED ME MY $500.00 on that very same day. I walked back in with the FBI Report and again, I was refused by the Bank Manager. So I drove over to PONTE VEDRA, figuring I'd get better service. GUESS WHAT, the Bank Manager there, with FBI REPORT in hand. Immediatly filed the FRAUD REPORT!!!! It took REGIONS *5* days to refund me my money. As it turns out, it was the "NIGERIAN SCAM" that was now being instrumented from RUSSIA. Big surprise. About a week later I received a letter from REGIONS, saying... "WE FOUND NO FRAUD IN THIS CASE"... DUH? This banking institution should be one that GOES OUT OF BUSINESS! Truely LAME!!!!! I am leaving as soon as I can get all of my auto-payments set up somewhere else. Let alone they are lame, but their FEES ARE REDICULOUS!!!!! EVERY BIT OF MY COMMENTS ARE COMPLETLY ACCURATE!

I've had to file a fraud charge with BOA and all banks will tell you the same thing. You must wait for the charge to clear. Before you make such comments you should check your facts.
Please save yourself and dont go here!

This place makes me sick. The branch manager acts like she is 14. She is VERY condescending. They also sneak in a ton of things on your account. MAKE SURE YOU TELL THE CSR YOU WANT TO OPT OUT OF OVERDRAFT PROTECTION. This ONLY means that they CANT charge a fee if you overdraft your account. They dont want you to know that of course, but thats how it is. TRUST me noone at this branch will take the time to explain ANYTHING. This is the MOST awful customer service I have seen in a very very VERY long time. I would never dream of talking to someone much less a customer the way the branch manager did. The CSR is a piece of work herself. Easy when the branch manager is full of it. You know what they say, LEAD BY EXAMPLE, right? Good thing I moved and no longer have to deal with these uneducated fools. Furthermore, I will never EVER bank with regions if thats the kind of person they choose to represent their bank! Sick. Kind of makes me want to throw up! Ciao!

I agree with every unhappy remark made here. I'm on a fixed (VA) income and was told there would be no additional charges and so on when I opened my account. This month I get a letter from them that I will now have to pay $14.00 per month in fees for my ATM card and that my VA isn't enough to be deposited. The man I opened the account with was a used car salesman...I mean one of the bank managers. Never, I mean NEVER again will I deal with this bank.

I went to the bank to make a deposit. There were multiple cars in the drive thru and about 10 people in line. I was at the front door ready to open the door when a representitive named Paul stopped me and said in a rude fashion we are closed... Then proceeded to talk thru the crack in the door. Obviously they closed at 12 and I was there a few minutes after... dont they call this customer service... I guess he was too worried about going home than the customer. Needless to say I will research other banks to do business. oh and by the way I went next door to Bank of America and they accomidated me!!!

This bank is extremely racist. They only cater to spanish people. They ignore white people when they come inside as if they dont want them to bank there. I stood in the lobby for 30 minutes while the staff just sat around talking and laughing. Then a good looking spanish female customer came in and they took care of her right away. After they did someone came up to be and asked if I had been helped after close to 40 minutes there. They also lied and said if I had 500 in activity I would not be charged the monthly fee. They charged me anyways. They also put a hold on my card without notifying me. When I called to take it off they could not do it. They said it would be off from 12-6am. I tried using it at 9am and it did not work. They canceled the card. I was stuck in another state with no way to access my money. There is no communication from teller to automated service. This bank is HORRIBLE! I would never recommend it to anyone. The only thing they have going is Carlos. He is the only person there with any respect for races other than spanish people. The rest of the staff is racist as hell and rude. I also speak spanish and here them talking bad about the only one white employee teller they have. This bank and its employees are a disgrace to the Regions name.

Today I called in due to the monthly fee on my Regions Savings account, when i had signed up for this account, I was told that I would never have any sort of monthly fee on it. The wonderful women on the phone(read incredible bitch) informed me that if I took money out of my account more than 3 times in one month, that I would be charged $3 per transaction made. So I told her that was never mentioned when I had opened that account. That oh so polite woman then asked if I had even bothered to read what I had signed and suggested I read it again, because its in there, and maybe I should read things before I sign them. On top of that, they charged me $25 for my "free checks" on my savings account, let my mother, whom I had as a cosigner on a savings account of mine close that account. In the branch they told her she had an account that she hadnt used for a while with $1000 in it and would she like to cash it out. My mom figured it was her old savings account and closed it, I didnt find out until months later. Not to mention, when I first switched accounts from union planter to regions, they set up my debit card to my moms checking account number and her debit card to mine. Most recently, when I got divorced, they didnt take my ex husband name off the account like they were supposed to, ordered checks with his name only on them, put my wrong address on them. When they finally took him off and reordered the checks, it had my address and last name STILL wrong. Finally the 3rd time they got it correct, but it cost me $75 for all the checks. To top off that whole fiasco, they then attached my 3 year old daughters savings account to my debit card and took off my savings account, which caused me a huge headache. When you are a single mom, and your bank denies you access to your account, its hard to feed you child and pay for daycare, and rent. Needless to say I will be pulling all of my accounts and my daughers. Oh almost forgot when I told the customer service rep that I would be pulling all of my money and changing banks, she told me "good luck with that, maybe you shouldnt bank with Regions"

I recently met with a VP in the Urbandale office of Regions Bank. I was told that I finally (after the whole bankruptcy process) was in a position with my credit to buy a house. My wife and I spent time with a realtor looking at houses, trying to find the perfect home. When we finally did that, this guy told us that he couldn't get my financing approved after all. First it was I had too much debt, so I worked that problem out. Then it was the loan to income ratio was too high. But, after including my annual bonuses, everything was good to go and I'd be meeting him that afternoon to get the approval letter. But wait, not even 10 minutes later, he sent my wife an email stating that he'd made a mistake reviewing my bankruptcy dates, and that I was not eligible for a loan for another month. Then he had a thought that he could push this thru if my bankruptcy was caused through no fault of my own. Well, since I had had a major surgery, and shortly after I found that my then wife had not paid any bills for months and our house was behind over $6000, thru NO FAULT OF MINE. But NOPE, this wasn't good enough for the powers that be at Regions, and ultimately I'm being told now, after a purchase agreement was signed, offer accepted and everything else being in-line that I have to wait till July. ONE MONTH! I will lose the house that I picked if it's not closed on by June 28, and may lose my earnest money all because this guy couldn't do his job adequately enough to make sure everything was truly in order before giving me the go ahead to find a house. While a month isn't and shouldn't be too much to bear, the mental and emotional roller coaster that this guy has had me on has drained me. How can someone have "Vice President" next to their name and be so clueless as to what their job ACTUALLY is? This is a ridiculous situation and I suggest you avoid using this company for anything! Think I'm alone in this? I challenge you to find one positive piece of feedback out there!

This bank is a waste of time. When you open an account they don't disclose all of the terms of what you can and can't do. Other banks give you plenty of options and flexibility with what you want to do with your money. Umm HELLO IT'S MY MONEY! Not this bank they tell you what you can and can't do. They wouldn't let me transfer money to an account when they told me to come in and that they could do it that day. They then said, "I'm sorry but we can't do anything." I asked, "Why?" Response "You are a new customer." I told them that I was closing my account with them because I can't believe that we were lied to and then turned away. FROM OUR OWN BANK?! The reps response, "I'm so sorry you feel that way. Have a good day." WHAT? They didn't even try to help us or make it right? I guess customers aren't valued at this bank, but they'll tell you to have a good day! Switched banks totally happy now that they let us use our money and transfer it when we want too! duh

Keep mailing "close this account" notices since February 2011 to the Branch but to no avail. I keep getting not only statements but also overdraft notices ( I guess on non-activity charges...). How can my account be "overdrawn" when it was closed several months ago with a potitive balance? Amazing... I give up!

I made a deposit via check for 580. When I got to my office I saw online that the teller deposited only $58. When I called about that she was too busy to help and when she did help she just said that it will be fixed downtown and it'll be all right. She never acknowledged that she made a mistake and never bothered to apologize. Sloppy work is ok, because someone else will fix it. That's the attitude.
