It is nearly impossible to find a number for the bank.  When you do, no one will answer.  If you call the main line, you wait on hold for 15+ minutes, and they are always sorry, but can never help with anything.  They bank opens after I go to work, and closes before I get off, but everything has to be done at the branch.  What is the point of the main number if they can never help?

The manager Ms. Cambpell is very uncaring and I would not use this bank because of her attitude. I dont' really know how regions can have such a rude manager.

Originally I established an account with the Bank of Huntsville which was subsequently purchased by AmSouth Bank who in turn was purchased by Regions Bank. I have been a faithful customer of these banks for over thirty years. Some years ago (10-15) I took out a home equity loan with a limit far exceeding my expected needs. I have used this loan for home improvements, auto purchases, rental property purchases, etc. I have made payments regularly, never been late and usually made payments far beyond the amount due. Recently I received notice that my loan must be renewed or it would be cancelled and the remaining balance due immediately. Not in need of the loan but thinking I would keep it in effect in case some need did arise I submitted income tax records, copies of rental contracts on property I own and signed papers permitting the bank to further examine my tax records if necessary.

After jumping through these hoops I continued to receive notices that my loan would soon be terminated if I did not attend to the banks requests. I subsequently received notice from Regions Bank that my loan had not been approved. My credit rating if 811 out of 850. I have no loans, all rental properties and home are paid off, I pay all credit cards (3) completely every month and am financially secure. The bank relied on TransUnion Consumer Relations in Chester, Pa. to make their decision. The reasons given for my not being approved were 1) Lack of recent information on installment accounts. I have no installment accounts. 2)Too many accounts with balances. I have no accounts with over a 30 day balance. 3) Proportion of revolving balances to revolving credit limits is too high. I have no revolving balances, have no idea what this could possibly refer to.

How sad that having a 30 year good relation with a bank and an 811 credit score does not qualify. The decision to reject my request was based on some dude sitting in a cubicle in Pennsylvania 800 miles away dealing with erroneous data. My relationship with the local bank and its employees have been very good. Apparently Regions Bank has no faith in "on the ground" loan officers to make evaluations on loans, but rather relies on someone who has no real knowledge of my character, track record, standing in the community or any other factor on which loans used to be approved. Not sure I will find it but I have started to search for a bank where I can deal with a loan officer on a truly personal basis. Regions Bank is too big and I would not recommend it.

Sadly banks only look at graphs and charts not loyalty. They feel you are a problem and not a customer. It's really sad, what you described to me they were refusing you because they can't make enough money off of you. What people need to do is close their accounts and force banks to view us as customers and not commodities! I had the exact issue withe the credit unions around here but I need a bank that will take international transfers Teachers credit union won't do transfers. That's real sad if you ask me and they all need to hire experienced bankers not dumb uneducated gum crackers!

All of my transaction I complete at their Smart teller. I once made a regular deposit and it didn't show up for 4 days later late in the evening. I try to make sure that checks hit my account only when funds are available. Today I am told that they are returning 2 checks that they have already PAID!!! just so they can charge me the fees. I am awaiting to call customer service to get someone that is profesional to handle this is as I travel alot with my company. This is one of many issues and I will not move my business account to this bank!

I needed to get $40.00 from the  Regions bank in Alpharetta, Ga on January 17-2014. they charged my account twice first for $43.00 and then another $3.00 dollar. That is $6.00 to use their ATM.
I tried to call their 800-734-4667 phone number to find out why but the number does Not have an option for non customers and the automated voice keeps repeating for new account enter 1,atm location,2,.....

12-31-13 Today I learned that customer service is no longer important anymore at least at the Regions bank in Marion,AR.I recently opened a business account at this branch and J.Townes helped me and he was both nice and professional.I went in today to cash a check and make a deposit, there was only two tellers Chasity upfront and Nita on drive thru.Nita came upfront and I was the unlucky customer she asked to help.I placed my check and I.D in her hand and she went back to her computer which was at the drive thru.To my surprise she laid my check down and waited on customers in the drive thru.I found this to be very rude and unprofessional as I felt my time is just as valuable as the people in drive thru. After she so nicely waited on two people at the drive thru she came back upfront and laid my I.D on the counter and said that she would have to ask Chasity a question about my check. All this time that I was waiting for Nita to cash my check the other people that was standing in line behind me had been waited on by Chasity and gone on about there merry way.Nita came back and asked for my I.D again and once again I placed it in her hand and again she went back to the drive thru and waited on yet another customer.By this time I just wanted to ask for my check back and close my business acct with Regions immediatly!J.Townes happened to come around to the counter and that made me feel a little better as we spoke to each other,I asked him if he could go back and get my check from Nita so I could leave and he said that she would take care of me and that they were short staffed. After watching Nita wait on four customers at the drive thru and Chasity wait on all the customers that were standing in line behind me I was a bit agitated to say the least.Nita finally got around to cashing my check and making my deposit, once again she so rudely laid my I.D on the counter and gave me my money and deposit slip without even a hint of a smile.I will be contacting the branch manager the day after the new year, hopefully this never happens to me or anyone one else that deals with Regions bank.

This person is convinced of his own importance, and obviously has little sympathy for tellers who were perhaps dealing with a skeleton crew for the holidays. I have banked at my location for 25 years and it's been Regions for about 10 years. I find their service excellent in all my accounts. This customer is new, intolerant, and eager to complain. No doubt he changes banks often. Perhaps he could be more patient, and if he can understand this (his grammar is atrocious, uneducated), be more tolerant of people who are serving him.

I had an unauthorized charge on my debit card from some company out of state.  I refuted the charge, filled out the paperwork, signed the affidavit and waited the ten business days.  Nothing. Called customer service.  Said I was declined. I asked why and it was because paperwork was not received.  Spoke with supervisor who contacted Irondale Branch and they allegedly refaxed paperwork. Another ten business days, nothing. Called again today and representative said she spoke with someone else who wants me to fax my paperwork again to a third party for review and another ten day waiting period.  So, in the mean time they have my $755 dollars...somewhere, which I may never get back.
