I am very dissappointed with this branch of REGIONS and the overall banking practices the REGIONS follows. When I opened my account in Mandarin last year, I was very, very specific as to what I wanted in the way of service and options. I was assured that there was no difference between BOA and REGIONS. LIE!!! There is a whole lot of difference! Their ONLINE BANKING is pathetic! There is a delay of up to 5 days before the payment makes it to your payee. Rediculous in this DAY AND AGE! Then the kicker was.. I discovered that there was a pending $500.00 fraudulent charge on my DEBIT CARD and I rushed to this branch immediatly. I was told there was nothing they could do and I had to wait to file a complaint after the payment went through....WHAT? THAT'S JUST STUPID!!! I left and called the SHERIFFS OFFICE. An officer came out to my home where I filed a report. That afternoon, an Agent from WHITE COLLAR CRIME, a division of the FBI called me and told me that he, "COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT REGIONS, REFUSED ME" The one thing the bank rep did do was give me the billing information. SUPPOSIBLY, I had purchased an item from an on-line company in California. I called them, they had flagged the purchase as suspicous and had stop the billing and had already REFUNDED ME MY $500.00 on that very same day. I walked back in with the FBI Report and again, I was refused by the Bank Manager. So I drove over to PONTE VEDRA, figuring I'd get better service. GUESS WHAT, the Bank Manager there, with FBI REPORT in hand. Immediatly filed the FRAUD REPORT!!!! It took REGIONS *5* days to refund me my money. As it turns out, it was the "NIGERIAN SCAM" that was now being instrumented from RUSSIA. Big surprise. About a week later I received a letter from REGIONS, saying... "WE FOUND NO FRAUD IN THIS CASE"... DUH? This banking institution should be one that GOES OUT OF BUSINESS! Truely LAME!!!!! I am leaving as soon as I can get all of my auto-payments set up somewhere else. Let alone they are lame, but their FEES ARE REDICULOUS!!!!! EVERY BIT OF MY COMMENTS ARE COMPLETLY ACCURATE!

I've had to file a fraud charge with BOA and all banks will tell you the same thing.  You must wait for the charge to clear. Before you make such comments you should check your facts.

This place makes me sick. The branch manager acts like she is 14. She is VERY condescending. They also sneak in a ton of things on your account. MAKE SURE YOU TELL THE CSR YOU WANT TO OPT OUT OF OVERDRAFT PROTECTION. This ONLY means that they CANT charge a fee if you overdraft your account. They dont want you to know that of course, but thats how it is. TRUST me noone at this branch will take the time to explain ANYTHING. This is the MOST awful customer service I have seen in a very very VERY long time. I would never dream of talking to someone much less a customer the way the branch manager did. The CSR is a piece of work herself. Easy when the branch manager is full of it. You know what they say, LEAD BY EXAMPLE, right? Good thing I moved and no longer have to deal with these uneducated fools. Furthermore, I will never EVER bank with regions if thats the kind of person they choose to represent their bank! Sick. Kind of makes me want to throw up! Ciao!

I agree with every unhappy remark made here.  I'm on a fixed (VA) income and was told there would be no additional charges and so on when I opened my account.  This month I get a letter from them that I will now have to pay $14.00 per month in fees for my ATM card and that my VA isn't enough to be deposited.  The man I opened the account with was a used car salesman...I mean one of the bank managers.  Never, I mean NEVER again will I deal with this bank.

I went to the bank to make a deposit. There were multiple cars in the drive thru and about 10 people in line. I was at the front door ready to open the door when a representitive named Paul stopped me and said in a rude fashion we are closed... Then proceeded to talk thru the crack in the door. Obviously they closed at 12 and I was there a few minutes after... dont they call this customer service... I guess he was too worried about going home than the customer. Needless to say I will research other banks to do business. oh and by the way I went next door to Bank of America and they accomidated me!!!

I will be banking at the Parkstone branch exclusively from now on. Excellent customer service from the entire staff and a friendly, inviting atmosphere. The branch manager was excellent in answering all of my questions and assisting me with some opportunities on how to grow my business. He referred me to an excellent CPA. Highly recommend this branch.

This bank is extremely racist. They only cater to spanish people. They ignore white people when they come inside as if they dont want them to bank there. I stood in the lobby for 30 minutes while the staff just sat around talking and laughing. Then a good looking spanish female customer came in and they took care of her right away. After they did someone came up to be and asked if I had been helped after close to 40 minutes there. They also lied and said if I had 500 in activity I would not be charged the monthly fee. They charged me anyways. They also put a hold on my card without notifying me. When I called to take it off they could not do it. They said it would be off from 12-6am. I tried using it at 9am and it did not work. They canceled the card. I was stuck in another state with no way to access my money. There is no communication from teller to automated service. This bank is HORRIBLE! I would never recommend it to anyone. The only thing they have going is Carlos. He is the only person there with any respect for races other than spanish people. The rest of the staff is racist as hell and rude. I also speak spanish and here them talking bad about the only one white employee teller they have. This bank and its employees are a disgrace to the Regions name.

This bank is a waste of time. When you open an account they don't disclose all of the terms of what you can and can't do. Other banks give you plenty of options and flexibility with what you want to do with your money. Umm HELLO IT'S MY MONEY! Not this bank they tell you what you can and can't do. They wouldn't let me transfer money to an account when they told me to come in and that they could do it that day. They then said, "I'm sorry but we can't do anything." I asked, "Why?" Response "You are a new customer." I told them that I was closing my account with them because I can't believe that we were lied to and then turned away. FROM OUR OWN BANK?! The reps response, "I'm so sorry you feel that way. Have a good day." WHAT? They didn't even try to help us or make it right? I guess customers aren't valued at this bank, but they'll tell you to have a good day! Switched banks totally happy now that they let us use our money and transfer it when we want too! duh

i am customer at regions bank and in pass had too many smart answers from over the phone after inquireing about inside bank fraud with my account over deducations with a fraud irs setup within dickson tn and security. the bank allowed near 500 dollars to be deducted from my checking account from another person with fraud tn, useing mine and after me calling it in on the fraud irs.these folks working within tn sen lamar alexander and i am not sarha paylin from alaska

Keep mailing "close this account" notices since February 2011 to the Branch but to no avail. I keep getting not only statements but also overdraft notices ( I guess on non-activity charges...). How can my account be "overdrawn" when it was closed several months ago with a potitive balance? Amazing... I give up!

Regions is Regions. I invite you to check out their profits online. Fees too high and returns too low. Local Branch Managers are no longer able to make individual decisions or interact with customers on a personal basis. I suppose that is the way with our computerized world. The staff is friendly and courteous, but are just instuments of a conglomerate. I believe that I will find a locally owned bank or credit union within the next week. If money has to be spent, lost or saved keep it local!

Give credit where it's due. There's a lady named Dava Stiles at the Dallas Bay branch and she wrote the book on customer service. Great job. There are a lot of people at the other branches in Hixson TN who could learn a lot from her because they behave like prima donnas doing you a favor when they help you.

I made a deposit via check for 580. When I got to my office I saw online that the teller deposited only $58. When I called about that she was too busy to help and when she did help she just said that it will be fixed downtown and it'll be all right. She never acknowledged that she made a mistake and never bothered to apologize. Sloppy work is ok, because someone else will fix it. That's the attitude.

What terrible PR to have cars towed from your parking lot during the Main Street Festival. I can understand that you needed spaces available during business hours, but on Sunday afternoon-seriously???

My dad had banked at Regions for a couple of years and when he passed away I started trying to get the address changed (I live over 1000 miles away).  I am the court-appointed executor and I mailed them the court's signed Letters Testamentary naming me as the executor and the Death Certificate, with a request to change the account name to "Estate of [dad]" and the address to my address.  Nothing.  Called their 1-800-REGIONS number repeatedly and tried every option imaginable trying to get the number of a live human being.  Nada.  Then I went to the website and my dad's branch in Bossier City, Louisiana, wasn't even LISTED.  So I wrote to the customer service on the website and told them the problem and asked for their guidance about what I should do. No reply.  At all.  That was at least three weeks ago.  Not that they're refusing to change it, they just WON'T REPLY AT ALL. I did not have this issue with any of his other accounts -- CapitolOne, Red River Bank, Citizen's Bank.  DO NOT BANK HERE!

I began banking with Union Planters, and they were awesome to work with.  Then Regions bought them, and within the next 3 months, lost ALL of my accounts.  It took me nearly a year to get my checking account back, over 3 years to get my savings account back, and 5 years to regain access to my Home Equity line of credit.  As soon as I got the credit account back, they threw it into collections, and have ruined my credit.  

Then, while trying to straighten all this out, they released my loan information to my ex wife with out my permission, a CLEAR violation of privacy law.

I am currently seeking legal action against them for both situations.  Do your self a favor and bank somewhere else!

I have been banking with Regions over 18 years (DeFuniak Spgs, Fl branch) and when Manager Martha was there - this bank ran like a charm.  I can honestly state that when the new manager took over, the customer service plunged to an all time low. With their next to last merger - their in town tellers changed, and all they care about is getting your money IN and keeping as much as possible. Oh! And my "Free Checks" - now cost almost $7.00 (so remind me why that was a "fantastic" reason for joining them?  I already have another bank where i live in Idaho- and will shortly be transferring all deposits to a small local branch.

These have to some of the most ignorant people I have ever dealt with (notice I said some, not all). I was told 3 different things by 3 different people.I have been trying get my mother's money after she died. I've been to court, filed for a small estate and still can't get it.  They said they don't care what the courts say, they have there rules to follow. ????  Not sure what that means, they couldn't explain it either.  Finally, will have lawyer call and let him deal with these ignorant people.
