Asked for them to close my accounts because they moved out of my area. They also charge mobile deposit fees, which their competitors don't.
So I asked them to close all my accounts, they gave me the total sum of my accounts and told me that my accounts, and I left believing them.
They lied. Peoples Bank left one of my accounts open.

I have been a customer of this bank for several years as has some of my other family members. It use to have the most friendly and courteous staff at all branches. Today was the worst experience ever at the Walmart Branch of this bank. I was trying to cash a small check from a family member with both of us having an account at the bank. After the girl trying several times to make the transaction and then calling the manager over for assistance, I offered to show her one of my personal checks with my account number. I was very rudely told, "No". When the manager also had difficulty I said, this shouldn't be a problem both the issuer of the check and I have accounts here. I was then told very rudely by the manager, "This is a new system, we are just learning, its the first day. So just wait and bare with us." It was not so much what she said, but how it was said. After about 15 minutes of waiting to have a small check cashed as I left I said, you know I have banked here for several years, and this use to be a friendly, courteous place to do business, but after the way you have spoken to me today, I may take my banking business elsewhere. The managers reply, "Good". I have been a business owner, I have worked with the public but never would I ever treat a customer with such disrespect. To top it off when I tried to call the main branch to file a complaint I discovered that none of the listed phone numbers are working numbers. Mostly I am just saddened that what use to be a great place to do business is now full of rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful people who certainly should not be working with the public. Epic Fail Peoples Bank.
