Just received my child's bank statement tonight--my in-law opened an account kids at a bank bought out by Morton. Unfortunately, it does not receive much inactivity and they charge after no activity after one year. We only receive statement every 6 months and they charged 5 months of inactive account fees without any notice before sending me this statement. I would expect some notice before FIVE MONTHS of fees. Will be closing account today.
