I was with another very large bank and I am so glad I switched to Horicon  The service is outstanding!

MAYVILLE, WI IS THE WORST BMO BRANCH EVER!!

I have been banking with BMO Harris - Mayville since 2003.  Recently, the staff at this branch has gone downhill.  I deposited a check from another banking institution, and the funds messed up due to misinformation from the teller, so the branch placed a hold on my account.  I was negative for almost 2 weeks, without access to my funds in the bank (e.g. paycheck), and charged with numerous overdraft fees even though I had sufficient funds in the account.  During this time, I was closing on a house, and almost defaulted on the contract because I could not access my funds... instead of helping me out, the branch was extremely rude, and I was forced to call BMO corporate customer service to try and resolve the issue.  Corporate called the branch on my behalf, but they were also unable to resolve the issue.  Finally, I was forced to contact the Lomira, WI branch who was able to assist.  Please do not do business with this branch, and if you choose to utilize BMO services, use a nearby location (Lomira is great!).  What an awful experience for someone that's been with a bank for almost 20 years.  Good thing there are lots of other banks that want reliable customers, so I took my business elsewhere :)
