Instead of getting a check on payday, the company I work for puts our money into a Powercash Debit Card. On payday the card is activated and it contains every penny I earned.  To access my cash I have to do a bank transaction called a "cash advance."  It's a fairly complicated transaction.

Nearly all the banks in Virginia, MN, will charge a fee for doing a cash advance.  The American Bank in Virginia, for example, charges a 4% fee for doing a cash advance whether you're a customer there or not. The American Bank fee would come to $45 per payday.

The Frandsen Bank doesn't charge a fee.

I took my Powercash Card to several banks in Virginia and they couldn't make it work. In desperation I tried the Frandsen Bank in downtown Virginia. The smartest teller in the world works there. She was able to access every penny on my card and didn't charge a fee. Not only that, but she treated me like a king.

I'm totally happy with the service and the people at the Frandsen Bank.  Try it, you'll see what I mean.

Very happy with the service at Frandsen Bank & Trust in Montgomery, MN. To my surprise I forgot to record an entry in my checking account which caused it to overdraw. With the help of Mike and the friendly staff I was helped out with the overdraft charges. I appreciate their understanding and service provided.
Extremely unhappy with this bank

This bank gave me a construction loan promising to get me a mortgage at the end and never did, instead ordered an appraisal who came into my house without my prior knowledge or consent.  After putting all my money into building a new house, I lost it.  They wrongfully levied on my corporate account I had the same account there for 20 years for a personal debt, then started charging me nonsufficient funds and causing checks to bounce. After I had to bring my articles of incorporation in, they put the money back into the account, but several electronic online payments made from the account to credit cards were still returned causing my credit card companies to cut off all my cards.  They don't do you any favors that is for sure.

Disgusted with this Bank! They Reordered Debits to Charge Me More Overdraft Fee's. This Bank will Process the Amounts by Listing Larger Amounts to Smaller Amounts instead of Placing them in the Order they Took Place! The Lady(Audrey)that is in Charge of the Overdraft Fee's is Very Rude and Should NOT Be in Customer Service. Very Poor Bank Practice! If it was Processed in Order I Would Have had $56 in Overdraft Fee's but Instead I Had $140. I Have No Idea How These People Sleep at Night.I DO NOT Recommend this Bank at ALL!!!!
