I have been a customer for over 5 years and I love this bank. The people are so helpful and truly take time to help. They know me and I know them. It is a pleasure each time I visit the bank. I feel like they care and will always find the answer to my questions. It is nice to be more than a number like I've experienced at "big" banks. Thank you for great service and always being so helpful!

First Community is an excellent bank for those looking for a financial partner in very difficult economic times. Small to large businesses are just one focus of this bank. First Community Bank supports the local community, with active support of local schools including visits to students to provide information and knowledge of what young people need to know about living in the "real world", personal budgeting and cautious use of credit. I know this because I work at a Davidson County School and FCB provided a home equity loan when we needed a temporary boost in tough times.

I banked with Bank of America for 12 years before they sold my branch to First Community Bank. In those 12 years of banking with BOA, I never had a single problem using the tools and resources they have for online banking. First Community Bank's online banking tools are rudimentary at best. The portfolio management tool they offer, called "My Finance" is weak, and as often as not, simply doesn't work at all.

I am not impressed and would not recommend this Bank. FCB requires you to change your password every three months. Every three months, I find myself in the same predicament of being locked out of my account, numerous time, even after calling customer service and having them reset my password. It does not want to accept the user login, does not want to accept the old password, or the new password. I will give credit to my personal banker, who has been as helpful as possible, but I have no desire to call every three months to resolve this. I'm done, finding a new bank asap!

Well, I must say that this bank was a complete and utter joke. I would never recommend them to anyone their fees were extremely high. Their staff is not only rude but highly incompetent. Not really a surprise when consider they hired two commercial officers from Newbridge Bank to complete the all around terrible experience. Use caution when dealing with them, they are not trustworthy ethical or honest.

This bank ruined us!

First Community foreclosed on our property when were not behind on our payments. We got behind on our property tax and when we went to set up payments with them (We did that in the past)they told us the bank had paid it. We went to the bank and we made half the tax payment in addition to our regular payment that month and promised to pay the rest the next month. They contacted us after they received those payments and said they were foreclosing anyway. They never made any attempt to work with us at all after that. We lost everything and they made money when they sold out farm.
