I've been a member with community Bank since 2012 and I have never been unsatisfied with any of their services or employees always friendly an have a smile my on their faces

“Too Busy” (Not Interested)

I accompanied my 16 year old daughter into our local Chittenango branch to open her first checking account and was met with the greeting of “I’m closed” by the first of four tellers who promptly placed a sign in her window and walked away. (There was only one other customer in the branch at the time). After a few moments another teller assisted, provided paperwork to fill out and told us that it should only be a few moments as “Roberta” was finishing up with a customer. We asked initially if this could be handled this morning as we were traveling out of town, and were assured that it would be no problem. Twenty five minutes later we were approached by a teller informing us that “she was too busy with a fraud case and it was going to be “ a while”. She could not provide any time estimate. Time management, and general common courtesy seem to be an issue with this branch. We took our business to the local Empower branch and had three accounts set up within 30 minutes. Not quite sure when CBNA started going downhill, but as a former 5 year employee in their Corporate Audit department, I was both saddened and disappointed.

Community Bank is a Premier Bank. The hold extremely high standards. I had a situation that I presented to Nancy at the Oneonta office and she handled it with extreme compassion. I cannot emphasize enough that because she handled the situation the way she did, I have the highest regard for Community Bank and will continue to support them.
