I signed up for on-line payment. I made an err by entering one number off. I have a total of three accounts with Comenity bank with payments being accepted by the same bank account that I use. When submitting the payment it should have stated at that time that the account number did not go through. I found out by going to one of the stores to make a purchase and the card decline. I call Comenity bank what I was told that the account number was incorrect therefore they put my available credit to zero so I would not charge. So how is it that they are aware that the account number was incorrect? Because I have an account already that I use to make my payments with Comenity bank. I made the payment in the store this same day. Which was five days late. Comenity bank stated that the account will not open until after ninety days. Let me remind you that the payment was still made in the same month that it was due. Payment was only five days late. This service is the far worst I have incounted with any bank. No other banks will close the account due to being 5 days late. The bank made no attempt to call or write stating we have an incorrect account number that is not on file.

I owed $11 four months ago and made a payment 1 Day late. My next statement said I owed an $11 late fee plus a $2 minimum interest. When I called 3 weeks later when the $13 was due it was late and I owed $28. All late charges. When the next statement said $56 I called BJs and they called Comenity and got the balanced reduced to $$34 and I paid it that day. Today I received another statement and I owe $29.46 plus a $2 minimum interest charge. This item is the only black mark on my credit report. Those people at Comenity are criminals extorting late fees by threatening my credit. I destroyed the card 2 months ago. BJ s has been no help.

The Absolute worst credit card ever. When B of A ended its reward program with Harrah's I went with the new bank, Comenity. IF you use your card more.than 2 times in 2 days your transaction will be denied. Doesn't matter that you have a $7500 credit line. Their Fraud Dept. Will decline your transaction . Doesn't matter that the store is in your City. Doesn't matter if the transaction is less than 100 dollars. I pay in full every month and thus has happened to me 2 times. It is embarrassing. I stayed with them because of my relationship with Harrahs but today was the last straw. I cancelled. I don't need them. I would advise everyone to be careful they are a horrible company to deal with. Comenity is the worst ever.

I applied and was approved for the Comenity Credit card with the total rewards feature. card had wrong players number, has never been corrected.Told casino would correct it at their total rewards desk, ( had 17,000 credits by then) they would not upgrade the card or honor the earned credits. I have written several E/Mails, no response, at least 15 phone calls and still no card, no platinum casino card, no credits available.The BY FAR the worst credit card I have ever owned.
