Had my account frozen over what they considered to be fraud. Had to go through total nonsense to verify that I was the account owner.
What is it with these CS reps that they feel the need to apologize and understand how I feel about what I'm trying to do? It's like they've lost contact with the ground floor with the unnecessary language.
Apparently I was mean enough to get a letter overnighted by FedEx out of Richmond. That's an achievement worthy of framing to hang on the wall. About as good as the Harry Reid smear letter to Rush back in the day. LOL
Well, I'm in the process of closing my accounts due to too many bad experiences. Brian back there in the server room has messed with me long enough.

the manager, a rather portly african american man was nasty. Told me he did not have to give his name to me! I did not have my glasses and could not see his name. I am calling my son and taking our our savings of just over 100K and going across the street to Ccitibank.

The service at the Commack location leaves a lot to be desired. The bank used to be fine with cash deposits or transfers of any amount. Now they have a policy of $2500 (used to be $4500) at thecdrive in window. Nowhere at the drive in window or in the bank is this policy posted to the public. The manager, as usual, was not there. The employee in the bankvtold me "we don't have to" when I told her the new policy should be posted for all to read. The bank now also requires double identification for all cash transactions (why?). The teller at the bank today tried to peel off the backing of one of my laminated id's until I told him to stop.

I used the cash machine and then did a transaction in the drive through. It took forever and then later we got a phone call saying we signed the wrong receipt (there were two and she did not specify which one to sign). I asked her if she could use the signature from the other receipt, she asked her manager and then said no. I had to drive out there again! So unprofessional.
