Had my account frozen over what they considered to be fraud. Had to go through total nonsense to verify that I was the account owner.
What is it with these CS reps that they feel the need to apologize and understand how I feel about what I'm trying to do? It's like they've lost contact with the ground floor with the unnecessary language.
Apparently I was mean enough to get a letter overnighted by FedEx out of Richmond. That's an achievement worthy of framing to hang on the wall. About as good as the Harry Reid smear letter to Rush back in the day. LOL
Well, I'm in the process of closing my accounts due to too many bad experiences. Brian back there in the server room has messed with me long enough.

I've used Capital One since they acquired ING Direct, and I've never had an issue with anything. It's been easy to open accounts, and any time I've had to call customer service the person I've spoken with has been knowledgeable and friendly. I like that you can have multiple savings accounts and tag them for different things like emergency funds or vacation savings.

It's interesting how many ppl have bad issues with Capital One bank (Me & my husband have a joint Capital One acc & each of us has our own Capital 360 acc) we have never had a day one issue @ any location. The one by us is closing & we're gonna have to go to the next one about say 20 min.s away but that's ok cause we love Capital One. We have always been greeted with a smile & great teller service even @ the drive thru. I'm sad our location is closing (it happens to the best banks & it's just how it is) but 20 min.s isn't a hassle for us. It's worth it so no big deal. I have 4 other Banks & they're just as good. All of my banks are respectful. I guess it depends what state you live in but here in Houston Texas we have no issues. If you have inside teller problems if possible do your banking thru the ATM so you'll have peace. It's not worth your frustration. But for us we love Capital One & have no plans to close out our 3 acc.s now or later. So I wish all you bad reviewers luck. You can come up with a solution if you sit down & think things thru 1st
