I could have given less or more, my experience with loan officers after I bought the house were not 5 star deserving, but, at least this interbank that gave me a mortgage 7 years ago after I tried with high collars like US National Bank and Welsfargo.
My income was little low, my credit may not have been A+ like now; but my bills were paid on time; I had more than 10 years of excellent rental payment; and I had secured job. I wasn't asking for expensive houses.
All know that mortgage payments are lower than even a one bedroom apt.
Even after excellent credit, my bank, US Bank, refused to refinance my car.
So good for Bremer Bank.
