We buy and renovate residential rental properties in Hobe Sound having over 30 at one time. We are capitalized with all equity; no debt and have always had a good reputation in our community. We have never been able to establish a loan relationship with this bank, but we did receive a long lecture from the Stuart office manager about how we were not a real business and all our tenants could leave at once! We left them with the advice - if you can not figure out how to make a loan to Julian Rogers and his wife you should close your doors and leave town. They did in 2020.

I've been with BankUnited for 15 years. I've had a great history and up to three accounts with them. Today I left feeling crushed with the treatment given to me by the Miami Airport Branch Assistant Manager. Not only does she appear psychologically imbalanced but she is extremely rude. Worst customer service and treatment I've ever had at a bank after having so much money in deposits with them throughout the years receiving 0 back.....

Bank United is just out there to take your money, with bogus excuses, they post every transaction "pending" or on hold" for 5 to 8 days so they can eventually charge unauthorized overdraft fees, taking advantage on their poor online service, which is never clear on your current or available balance. It is IMPOSSIBLE to keep track of ones finances when even cash deposits are placed on HOLD. Above this issue ghost paper fees they never tell you about, plus the customer service is terrible, Manager Jared from the South Beach Branch has a terrible attitude and treats customers like if he where doing a favor just by providing customer service which is his Job, also Manager Ibrahim from the branch at 41st Arthur Godfrey also in Miami, has no idea of problem solving or simply just doesn't care and prefers to just wash his hands on the first teller he can get. Manager Liza (I believe also from the South Beach branch), although she did follow up on the first case i had with this issue, her attitude leaves a lot to think of, as she also seems to be careless on the clients frustrations. I have 3 members of my family which unfortunately I personally recommended this bank, all 3 of us are going to close our accounts immediately, all 3 of us have had the same issues with our accounts. I personally feel your advertising is misleading "No B.S.Bank", I would not agree so, unfortunately I was mislead. I hope this mail get the the hands of someone responsible enough to take action in order to improve your service for future clients.

This second review must have been written by the bank. I was scammed at an employment site on Craigslist, and Bank-United made it possible. The account the $1550 check was written on was closed. I am now in debt for this amount, and have various payments coming.
I am going after the scam artist(No Armchair quaterbacks)having filed a police report, and hired a internet expert to track thes worthless SOB"S playing Robinhood in reverse.
