The manager at this bank is rarely there but even when the manager is there, the door is closed and the staff seen somber and afraid to interact with her.   I don't know what it is, but there is just a huge difference in how friendly everyone is when she is there (seem on edge/stressed)  vs when she is not (relaxed).   

I've been to a couple other locations and things seem more normal.  

I've not had many issues and there are consistent staff it seems and they seem to know what they are doing.   Which is good since manager is not around much?   Both assistant managers at desks are very helpful.

Not a fan of new app but I'll adapt.   Not sure why they changed it and seems to be less user friendly.

I'd been to several Atlantic Union branches trying to open a checking account as a POA. I was told I needed an appointment. I called the Laburnum Ave branch and spoke with Jackie Evans (branch manager). She said I did not need an appointment and I could come in now. The process was less than an hour as she fit me in between her other appointments. Words can't express how pleased I was with the branch and Jackie's willingness to assist me in such a professional manner. This is my new go to branch:-)

I recently had an issue with fraud on my account. I called the bank and spoke with Wendy who told me the steps to take to resolve it. She even followed up with me a littler while later to see if I had gotten through to the appropriate department. We made plans to meet up the next morning to sign paperwork. Wendy called my a few minutes before the bank officially opened to let me know that she had the paperwork all printed and ready for when I came in. I was in and out of the bank within 5 minutes(so I wasn't late for work) with the reassurance that it will be handled asap.
Having customer service, and staff who care about their customers like Wendy does makes an aggravating situation easier to handle.
