How do I get Euros from my debit card?

I have a First Keystone issued Visa debit card. I am currently studying abroad in Spain and need to access my account to get Euros. I went to two ATMs today and they both rejected my card. I had enough money put in to the account before my trip to last me a long time and I haven't touched it yet.  What do I need to do to get the ATMs to take my card?
