I went to this bank today to open a new account with a program that I received in the mail. For a $15000.00 deposit and open a new checking Chase would give you a small rebate. Unlike any of the other Chase Banks there was no one to assist with your banking needs. A teller who tried to be helpful asked me what was needed and I told her it was for new accounts. Banker Tryce Kennedy yelled from a back room "Grab a seat and wait" I ask who long to the teller and Kennedy yelled again. " I don't know" Amazing how this bank put so much into advertisement and then allow workers like this to deal with it customers. I took my business elsewhere, Stay Away!!!

the location in Toms river , 24 main street has become a disaster recently.  the bank has changed all staff members. the new team is very lousy....I do not know why chase is paying them. They do not know their job.
they should be fired.
I am so frustrated, I am planning to drive to another branch, to see if they have good staff.

The treatment I received in the branch was poor customer service. As I sat there waiting for an 1 hour and 45 minutes; I watched Lane M. treat customers differently. She was friendly to some but rude to others. She had the worse attitude ever. I will never go back to this branch.

TELLERS DO NOT FOLLOW PROTOCOL, EMPLOYEES DISCUSS THE CONTENTS OF CUSTOMER PHONE CALLS WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS, STAFF CHANGES ATTITUDE AFTER BEING REPRIMANDED. MANAGER IS VERY UNAFFECTED BY COMPLAINTS.

I AM A VERY SATISFIED CHASE CUSTOMER FOR OVER 10 YEARS, HOWEVER I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE WHO EXPECTS CUSTOMER ACCOUNT SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY IN TRANSACTIONS OR PHONE CALLS RECEIVED AT BRANCH.

This bank sucks, 1 imparticular female manager of West Indian descent is horrible in hospitality and shows very little interest in resolve of customers banking issues...This branch n its embodiment needs a total overhaul, in addition it gives whole new definition to the phrase  "caviat emptor"!!!!!!Stay far away

I completely agree with this evaluation. The blonde woman who provides customer service is inattentive and a diva. She went to the manager and complained about me after I took issue with her asking me the same question three times in less than five minutes.

I was convinced to open an annuity account with the local branch with the assumption I would qualify as a preferred client and get all these great benefits.  Long story short based on lots of oversights by the company and investor that did not happen.  Makes you wonder if they have these kinds of oversights how well are they watching your money

Went to the Visalia CA chase bank on Mooney to cash AND deposit a check. The banker practically accused me of trying to cash a fraudulent check even though I have plenty of money in the account to cover it and I have direct deposit of almost 2K every two weeks. He was arrogant and just plain rude. Closing my account and will never be back.

they own an abandoned house and will not maintain it

They own an abandoned house at 415 brookridge st that looks terrible lawn is terrible, a huge dead tree in the back yard is waiting to take out electricity in the neighborhood and they seem to not care about any of this.

Something was wrong with my paycheck, stood there called my boss. When I got off the phone I was yelled at by the branch manager. I was confused, trying to figure out the man's problem. Especially because as I walked in he was telling his employee he has to be friendly at all times.

Poorly run branch. Manager has begged me to move my car loan and home loan there for months. Gave him my score ahead of time and advised they would not finance me. Mr Mathew assured me his girls could. Made an appointment for last Saturday and the Marie did not show up for work that day. I was a Chase customer for years and this group of clowns lost me with empty promises

New branch manager makes promises he can't keep. He would be better off not dealing with public. Mr Matthews stands breathing down tellers necks begging everyone to move their mortgage there! Move your car loan there.  Give him your credit score and he assures you his girls can get you a loan. Day they pull yout credit your score drops 30 points.  Made appointment with loan officer marie and she does not show up for work that day and never apologized for her being a now show.

Pathetic crew under the direction of an idiot captain. The lower rung staff are rude, unhelpful and couldn't care less.  Typical example is Mr Pho Bi, yawns in your face " long day today" at 11:30am !!! Gives you wrong information at every step and you leave the premises feeling insulted. Will never go this bank again.

The new manager, Jeremy, is completely incompetent.  The business and personal bankers do not have the knowledge required of their positions.  On the surface, it appears that the manager is happy with the less than stellar performance of such employees.  They are unable to handle the simplest transactions, such as providing copies of statements or tax documents.  They don't care one iota about the customer and much more interested in defending their little kingdom.

Tim, the investment banker is by far the dumbest bank employee I ever met.  He can't even handle routine paperwork.  Doubt he has any knowledge about investments.  I'd have better luck throwing darts at a stock report than to listen to him.  Do not investment one dollar with him.

The only bright spot about this branch are the tellers but their service was enough to stop me from closing my accounts.

I opened a business account in early December of 2013 that took me over 2 hours after I had already been sitting in the lobby waiting for almost 3 hours. No one approached me during my lobby time to ask if I had been helped. The "expert" business agent that I worked with did not give me my ATM card but rather cut it up when he discovered he forgot. My office is across the street. He didn't call me back for 6 weeks to talk about opening the other 10 accts I opened elsewhere in the meantime. Today I closed everything out.

I deposited cash into my account at the drive thru window at the vista lakes branch in Orlando to Michael, the teller. Several hours later my husband tells me I didn't make the deposit which I did. I had my receipt and noticed the last 4 of the account number weren't mine. I called and was on hold forever. I went back to the branch because it was close to 6pm. The bank proceeds to do research. The Asst branch manager Michelle Knight told me that it was deposited into someone else's account and reversed out but does not show it was ever deposited into my account. She had the NERVE to ask me if I was sure the teller didnt give the money back to me? Why would I deposit cash to ask for the same cash back! She said they needed to research this and it might not be resolved today and would make the deposit IF they see there was an error! They were NOT going to deposit the cash into my account. I accused Michael of shenanigans! He would NOT come out to talk to me! It was not until I threatened to call the police that they deposited the money into my account. I am disgusted! I feel like they were trying to covering up for their crooked teller! I am going to tell EVERYONE what happened. Now you can't even trust banks with your money!

The drive through banking takes 30 minutes if your lucky.... You better not be in a hurry bc once your stuck in line you are going to sit there for 30-45 minutes and there are only 2 cars in front of me the whole  time. ITS A FREAKIN JOKE at this bank. This is my last day next time I'm switching banks

Laura the branch manager is incompetent.  This idiotic bank would not accept a $2,200 cash deposit.  Absolute positive idiots!!!!   Laura is the queen of idiots.

This bank is terrible. Do not come here or you will be waiting for hours. They need to hire more staff. I have stopped going to this bank and I tell everyone I know not to come here because of the bank's poor services.

Mean teller

It pains me to give this review only one star, considering everyone, except for one teller was absolutely wonderful. While waiting in line, I witnessed a toddler playing with the red velvet rope that holds the bar/stands together, forming the line for people to stand in. One of the tellers, a heavy set african-american woman with wavy hair, asked if the little girl belonged to the customer who she was currently helping. When she said that, the little girl's mother, who was sitting in the waiting area, seemed realized that teller didn't want her to play with the rope. She got right up and made her stop. Then, to my surprise, the teller and her customer continued to talk and laugh about it. I'm sure the mother could hear it, because I could hear it, while standing in line. That was very rude and unprofessional. I don't even think that the little girl was being bad. She was just playing with the rope for pete's sake.

Shocked at the lack of privacy for individuals personal information

I had the WORST experience at the chase Band located at 58 W Ramapo Rd Garnerville, NY.  ( I have to say that the tellers at this branch have ALWAYS been a pleasure to work with and this review is certainly no reflection on them) I went in to get something notarized and waited over 30 minutes.  The long wait time was certainly annoying as I sat and listened to Erica talk loudly and incessantly to the couple she was serving but I figured this was their idea of friendly service.  What I found absolutely UNACCEPTABLE is the way this couples private information was broadcasted across the bank.  I know both of their names, how much money they make jointly, their home address including apartment number, his mother maiden name and the approximate time their cards are due to arrive in the mail .I guess the couple are lucky that I am not a thief because the bank employee would have made my job very easy, if I were one of the bad guys.  In this day and age of identity fraud I was absolutely flabbergasted at the unprofessional and dangerous business practices being displayed right in front of me.  If they care so little about this couples privacy, how in the world and I supposed to feel safe about how my information is handled?


Erica, the chase employee in question, could tell that I was very annoyed at the situation but it was her believe that my frustration came from having to wait so long.  I was fine with letting her believe this was the reason for my frustration until she then curtly told me that if I had called and made an appointment for notary services then I would not have had to wait.  I replied that I DID call and if making an appointment ahead of time was such a great idea then perhaps the person on the phone should have informed me of that option.  She went on to make a quip about how it was 20 minutes until 6 ( I arrived at 5:15) and that I was lucky that they even had a notary available to help me.   I informed her that during my phone call I was assured that a notary would be available until 6:00 on that specific day.  So I guess now I am supposed to feel lucky that there was even someone there doing their job?


So the privacy of  personal information is obviously NOT a concern (what I witnessed has to be against the policies and procedures of any banking establishment) and I as customer who tried to do her due diligence and called ahead of time is somehow left feeling that I should feel fortunate that she even bothered to help me at all.  So why am I banking with this establishment? I have no idea but I know a lot of other banks that would welcome my business.   TD bank for example, which is located diagonally across the street.  After I left Chase I drove over to TD bank, where my daughter has her account, so that she could count all the change she saved up...a very nice feature that TD bank does for free for its customers.  I was met with a smiles from the abundant number of staff members they had working on a Friday evening.  I was promptly offered assistance, I never felt rushed and when we left we were thanked for banking with them (what a novel idea!) and even offered some Valentines day chocolates.


The difference in customer service between Chase and TD bank was an eye opening experience.  The times they are a changin.  I guess when you bank with an establishment for over 15 years they just assume you will never leave....how wrong they are.

Wow I can't believe someone else had issues with this banker. I received several letters with my social security blasted all over them that weren't suppose to be. When I made a complaint about it after about the 3rd time the woman.. Director of chase seatac branch as she called herself fully defended her. I could not believe she defended her sooo strongly for putting peoples social security numbers all over regular paper sent out from chase. Sooo rude I finally came to the conclusion nothing would be done about this so when I saw the review below I can't believe other people had problems with her too & nothing was done.
