We had opened up an account with Wells Fargo since we moved here in June. My husband had two jobs here and every time we try to cash his payroll check they say if you don't have enough in your account to cover we can't cash it but we can hold it for you.It doesn't pay my bills for them to hold it. So, then we tried to deposit the checks. The sign says deposits after 4pm count as the next business day. Well we are always there to deposit about 2-3 p.m. it took over 3 business days to even get it cleared and only then because we called and complained. Not a happy customer at all. They then tell us when we ask they say we hold all payroll checks that aren't are company until they clear. These are payroll checks and repeatative at that. I can see maybe once or twice but seriously every time. Get real people.

I've given a request form on a friday for cleared check records, ms Tarmika Shaw told me to come back on Tuesday . I did.. She was out , Wednesday also Friday I went thinking the report would be ready and nope. Apparently she had no clue about it. I've sat there for more than an hour. No apology no hospitality.  She said she had an emergency ...
Basically low customer service bad manners lack of knowledge. Horrible branch. Not the first time this happens.

This is the most professional branch of wells fargo mainly due to the change in management. The new manager Sahlim Sweiss should be commended on his customer service and the professional way he handles customers. This reflects down the line to his staff that are very helpful and professional. This branch deserves 10 stars!!!!!

Having my own business for the past 22 years , I was just thrown out of my bank "Wells Fargo" because I was trying to close out my business account out due to difficulties since the take over.. they said that i could not cancel my account after stating that I have no outstanding check or anything being taken out..they insisted that I could not close the account. and if any charges occurred I would be responsible.. and have to pay the fee.. I called my attorney on the spot, and because I was speaking to my attorney they kicked me out of the branch and decimated my character in-front of other customers..this is the Branch Manager of the bank on general booth at REDMILL cs

Being a customer there for 8 years, the Staff has always had attributes of the condescending with socialistic nature. Insulting remarks that can seem innocent at times and others that are just right wrong from their side of the counter. Having to live with their remarks, I am now in the place I am not letting them go with them UN-notced! The other bank I have banked at for 30 years have dealt their have way and beyond their treatments. If not for Family members that I have to deal with on a monthly basis, I would not go there again! This bank is a wonderful bank , except we have a few staff people that are racist against Hispanic people. There is a skinny black guy .. .He is so racist , he treats you like you are garbage. He is very rude and he gets you checks and says he has deposited them and turns out he decides to deposit them in another account. That happened to me and after 3 days and me talking to the manager I got things fixed but the manager seemed like It was whatever. I HAVE TO PAY MY BILLS AND THIS GUY didn't seem to care , the manager or him never apologized for the inconvenience..... They will take their time and be rude to you .. and never apologize !!! I am not going to have that guy check my bank account anymore! as for the other employees , they are wonderful people !! ...
The manager isn't doing a good job with the staff that's profiling hispanic people and treating them bad

When I walked in to this branch, all the support welcomed me. Nancy took care of me - and was THE BEST bank associate I've been helped with. My bank is actually BOA, but I have a student loan through wells fargo. I went to the Wells Fargo off of Old Keane road - and was told by all the staff that they do not take or even look at Student Loan accounts. I thought this was odd and called up the 800 number to Wells Fargo - they said any branch should take student loan payments.

I found this one and am very pleased with the service and hospitality. Nancy was smiling and very welcoming. I paid $8,000 cash to pay off my student loan. Nancy congratulated me and invited me to open up a checking acct and credit card. I went home and applied and its in the mail.

I think I'll be banking with Wells Fargo from now on.

My only regret is that it seems the WF on Old Keane was misinformed. Also, the interest on my WF student loan was high - but in this economy everything hurts!

As General Manager for a small condominium association,our accounts have been with Margate,NJ branch of Wells Fargo for several years since they took over from what use be Wachovia Bank. The service from both the inside tellers and from the drive thru tellers has been exemplary. The Branch Manager, Finance officers, and staff have been very pleasant, helpful and have assisted myself and the Association on many occasion.  The staff overall cares about customers, and they go out of their way to assist in meeting the needs of customers when ever possible.

I went into this office to inquire about a overdraft fee they charged when a deposit happened at the same time. They were incredibly rude and condescending. I will be closing my account and going somewhere else after banking with Wells Fargo for many many years. What made me sad is that these two jerks probably make very little money and there really was no need for it.

I went into Wells Fargo Bank in Hopkins, MN to cash a check from a Wells Fargo Client on Friday August 24,2012. James greeted me and asked me if I would like to open up a checking account. I said no and not to ask. He told be to take this check and go somewhere else. Never have run into such a rude person and this is the first time that I have been kicked out of a bank. Very glad that I do not have an account with them and have no plans any longer of using them.

Pushy/Overly-Aggressive Teller

Thursday August 16, 2012, is the last day I will ever set foot in the Wells Fargo at 122nd & Sunnyside Road in Clackamas, OR. I had been to Wells Fargo locations all over the Portland area, and had never encountered a more aggressive and pushy teller than Aleigha, the young woman who waited on me at the counter that afternoon.

On three separate occasions, she has reached across the counter to me for a handshake (completely unnecessary; I've never seen a teller do this at any bank)... The first occasion, she offered me some basic promotions; no big deal.

On the second occasion, she approached me as I was filling out my deposit slip, letting me know that she would be happy to fill it out for me, personally. Again: completely unnecessary. Leave me alone.) She also offered me car insurance (pause...). Again, I was just trying to deposit my paycheck...

Then came last Thursday. After a third handshake and introduction, Aleigha was waiting on me at the counter once again. I handed her my paycheck deposit slip, we small-talked briefly, and then she began offering me a credit card deal. I subtly declined more than once, but she kept trying to persuade me, to the point of calling over one of her colleagues. She even asked me if I wanted a phone call to clarify about it. We had an "I'm not interested"-threeway for about fifteen seconds before I walked out.

I was just looking to deposit a paycheck all three times, and now I've been literally talked out of going back to this location. However, I would recommend the nearby Wells Fargo branch at 82nd & Foster Road; it is a much more comfortable atmosphere, accompanied by laid back bank tellers.

I left my wallet on counter and the ladies; Ann marie and team, kept secure for me until I returned. They were super nice about it. Thanks to there superior service.

My son died. Went to bank after talking with telephone representatives on how to handle accounts and what to bring to my branch. I Was treated like dirt.I was told I could not remove son's name from trust account and that my trust was all wrong. I asked for legal departments phone number and was told for internal use only. Left bank, called my attorney and he advised me to go to another branch and he would handle if there was a problem there. My trust was NOT done incorrectly. Branch at 17th and Mabury handled my needs in a matter of moments and I was treated with respect. I did not have to jump through any uncalled for paperwork or notaries. Mr. Goldstein is not an attorney, does not know his job and should not be so high and mighty with others monies or emotions. He also does not have to call the manager on the phone and have a condescending conversation about how my trust and my attorney did everything wrong while I am sitting there. He should be terminated. I have been with this branch for years and they have promoted all of the competant people. My monies are going elsewhere. My god, my son just passed at 32 years old. I did not need his unqualified, incorrect legal accessments I just needed to handle the affairs at hand.

where do I begin?

Upon enrolling for a business account, I was told they would do a personal credit check.  I was assured this would be a "soft" inquiry.  WRONG.  they dinged and hurt my credit.

I struggled for nearly a month to enable colleagues in my company.

Then, upon one enrollment, they changed the account address.

This caused them to fail to send a digital keyfob that would allow me to make direct payments.

I am now delayed in making payment.

Throughout all of this, the fellow who enrolled me simply stopped responding to my emails and calls.

Now, it's time to go to the manager.

What a waste of time!!

On 08/14/2012 I went to my local (Howell, NJ) branch to get an important document out of my safe deposit box, because I needed it for the same afternoon. In addition, I wanted to send money somewhere via "wire transfer" One of the bank employe Mr. Jason Clark offered to help me. When I told him that I want to "wire" money, he asked for a photo ID like a driver license as well as some sort of bank card with a Pin # I gave him my photo ID and told him that I have not a clue what kind of card or pin # he is referring to. I have also told him that I do this "wire transfer" regularly about 5-6 times per year and I was never been asked for anything else than a picture ID. Than in a very agitated voice, he told me that who ever did this before, did it wrong. So I told him, that it was his boss "branch manager" He than proceeded to tell me that he does not have a boss. When I told him that I would think that the branch manager would be his boss, he told me that the manager quit. I said, OK and I have proceeded to show him the previous paperwork to make things easier. When I told him that I never needed to show anything else besides my picture ID, he got extremely agitated and with a raised voice, he told me "not to tell him how to do his job" When I have tried to explain that I wasn't trying to do that,he got even angrier and refused to do the "wire transfer" When I told him that his behavior is unacceptable and I would take my money out of this bank, he leaned over his desk, almost up to my face and told me that he "does not give a damn" regardless of how much money I may have with them and find someone else to do the wire transfer. In fact he has even suggested that I go to one of the other branch in another town. When I told him: why would I do that, once again he leaned over his desk, right up to my face and told me that he does not give a damn what I want.He is a rather large man, about 6'2" - 6'4" and at that point I definitely felt intimidated and unsafe by his actions. Than I asked him to give me access to my safe deposit box. That request was also denied as well, even though I made it rather clear to him as to how important it is to get something out of there. A few hours after that, I have called Wells Fargo customer service and I was referred to a supervisor I have told her exactly about my negative experience and concerns, she told me that it will be reported to a "higher" department and I should be expecting a phone call from someone at Wells Fargo. A few hours later, I got a call from the temporary branch manager, Kasey Uchin and when I told her what has happened, she seemed genuinely understanding and concerned.
So she told me that she will investigate this issue as well as report it to her boss, Mary Yono - District Manager. She also told me that in a day or two, I should expect a call from either her or her boss. Now it is for days later and needless to say, no one has called me.
I have been with this bank for over 18 years without any problem. Ever. Also, I have always kept a rather large amount of money with them.OK. The truth is that Wells Fargo has bought out Wachovia and now there are some new people at the Howell branch. It seem that Wells Fargo isn't overly interested in customer relation like Wachovia or even the bank before that,1st National Bank used to be. How can Wells Fargo expect customers to have to or want to deal with rude, disrespectful and arrogant employees?? I for one, will not!!!

I called about a withdrawal from my banking account and pressed the option to speak to a representative. Someone from the drive-thru picked up the phone. I asked for her help and she didn't help me but tried to give me an 800 number to call using letters 1-800-2WELLS Obviously its wrong. I asked her to give me the numeric digits which she did not know; another inappropriate answer for a customer service rep. Since she could not help me she seemed agitated and stressed and preceded to tell me her problems such as "Ma'am I have 3 cars waiting to speak to me in the drive-thru" What was she telling me? Was she telling me I am not a customer or that I am not important? I called the bank directly, chose option zero for a customer service representative and she picked up the phone! She should have NEVER picked up the phone if she could not help me or find somebody who could. Finally, she transferred me to Steven who was able to assist me with my original question about a specific withdrawal. Steven also reported the incident to a branch manager who phoned me later that day. I just wanted somebody to know that if you are a customer service representative you should actually be able to help customers to a certain degree without making them feel like they are bothering them or make them feel rushed.

Complaint re advance on direct deposit

On my statement every week it showed $500 available for advance on my direct deposit of social security.  No problem.  This is great since SS is not deposited on the same day but the 3rd Wed and each month different thus getting prescriptions etc is difficult and at times I had overdraft charge.  Having this I could advance on the months it comes late and none on the months it is early. Great. So I took advance for the first time in 2 years. I was told to be sure the deposit comes and that there is sufficient funds to pay  no problem.  I borrowed the money and paid it back in a week .  The following month I called to get $200 as I will be getting caught up.  I was told it was cancelled.  I asked why and they said because of overdrafts. I said between day approved there were none and that is why it will help.  Sorry...  I said I would not have paid for my high school reunion to avoid increase in cost had I known this was no longer available but cancelled.  I relied on it and now can not get my chemo infusion because they lied to me.  The bank said it was available because of the automatic deposit. They said nothing about the fact that it could be cancelled at the whim of the bank at a moments notice. All I was told was it was available .

I went to this bank on 8/8 during my office hours just to use the express send service so I can send money to my home country.  I was in a rush because my outstanding bills in my country were already overdue.  Unfortunately, my request was remained "pending" for few days after I went to the bank but only found out that there was a new waiting policy for of up to 5 days after I made a call.  The banker did not even bother to inform me nor call me back after my 2 attemptep calls with him.  It's been a week now that my request has been pending and not been activated yet.  I tried to call again with the banker today but i didnt get a return call.  Hope this branch will improve their service to customers.

... because I have decided that it is just better to move on and join a credit union. I do not want to have bad feelings about the one woman who floats between this branch and the one on Stony Hill Rd in Yardley. However, I will not do business with anyone who treats me with disrespect.
