I had fraud in my bank account and I didnt get a refund. This is for the branch off poway & community rd. Customer service is horrible and all they want is your money.

We offered some clown Broyron Stoke a easy layup due to the severe incompetency of suntrust bank. And yet we have serious doubts we chose the wrong alternative bank. We opened a CHECKING ACCOUNT. Yet Byron forgot to order us check and three weeks in we still have no checks. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt but its a CHECKING account he forgot to order CHECKS for. How fing difficult can this job be. I'm sure he claimed credit and reeived compensation for aquiring the assets when in reality we could went screeming and yelling from SunTrust who lost our account twice to fraud into Byron's arms, but I seriously wonder if we jumped from the frying pan into the fire with this incompetent clown. Do not recommend this branc and certainly do not recommend Byron if you choose to risk it.

I have been Banking with WACHOVIA, now WELLS FARGO with my Business Account as well as my Personal Account. I usually go to WOODBRIDGE or METUCHEN and always receive excellent service and feel very welcome. I recently started going to the WELLS FARGO in WEST ORANGE NJ because I have been working a lot from home. My impression of the Bank has been spoiled by one particularly Rude Teller SCHOLA EKE.
Everytime I go there, she has given me a hard time. 1st time she said I couldn't cash my check because I did not have a Bank Card, and try to push me to get a Debit/Bank Card. I told her No, I don't want one and yes you can cash because I gave her my Drivers License. She reluctantly cashed checked and SHAMELESSLY asked me to give her HIGHEST rating when I get called to rate her service.
2nd time I had her she said I couldn't check Balance in my Business Account because I didn't have a Bank Card again! When I again told her, " Yes you can, because I am the Owner. She said, "How do I know you're the Owner?" I said because you have my License and I am signer on the Account! She again reluctantly gave me information and AGAIN SHAMELESSLY asked me to give her HIGHEST rating when I get call from Bank.
3rd Time, I get another teller I give my checks to another teller to cash, She sticks her nose over from other counter and says Checks can't be cashed because they are too old. When I explain that I am the owner and it is from my own Payroll account, she asks, "If You Are the Owner then why didn't you cash the checks earlier?" OBNOXIOUS, OVERBEARING, and VERY RUDE!
Other tellers like Anna Weiss at location have been pleasant, Notary Public at this Location was also extremely helpful and very polite. Brinder Kayr was polite and trying to be helpful but should listen to my grievance rather than try to convince me how good the Branch is.
Think I am going back to Metuchen or Fords Branch.

The service at Wells Fargo Bank located at 735 W. Wisconsin Avenue is horrible. I've waited in line to DEPOSIT funds and it took 15 minutues standing in line - remind you I'm the ONLY ONE in line to be serviced and no one is at the TELLER windows. The tellers are always fummbling with something or trying to figure out how to perform their job. The Manager actually trains the staff while trying to assist customers. At minium hire teller staff who can at least read. There is an extreme amount of socializing between the tellers and customers, I actually witnessed a female TELLER hitting on a male CUSTOMER. The lobby is filthy, filthy, filthy with deposits slip laying all over the counter tops, on the floor everywhere except where they need to be. The appearance of the staff needs improvement. Wearing caps, men with braids, tellers with blond hair, nose rings, dirty finger nails, not a good representation for a customer wanting to deposit their money in your bank. On a postive note the banking staff does attempt to provide customer service, but somehow they have missed the boat by a long shot, I actually witnessed the Managerlying to customers in the BACKED-UP drive thru that the lines were so long because the lobby was extreme busy. I had just left the lobby, there was no one in line or at the Teller windows - what were they busy doing? This location need improvment and immediate attentin by the Direct Manager, whom I've tried to called (even left a message) and yet to recieve an answer. But i guess that normal since there are probrary a MILLION complaints to deal with.

I have been with Wells Fargo since 1999 for general checking ans savings. I used to like them, but over the past few years the customer service has really gone down hill. Tellers are nice but bankers, I do agree, are extremely pushy and think rather highly of themselves. Have banked there for 15 years and went for a vehicle loan and was extremely disatisfied with the service there; when I have ample savings to outright buy the damn truck anyway. I also have a wells fargo credit card and they jacked my apr up to 15.7% and said tough shit and i got an americard at 10.99 and wells fargo still refused to budge so i transferred balance. They are just incompetent all around not to mention the damn book you have to write just to make a deposit holy christ. Also, a 2.50 fee for a non wells fargo atm transaction assessed by WF is such a shitty scam but i guess you have to pay those million dollar bonuses somehow since the government bailout money is gone. Currently in the process of going back to the credit union more personal and willing to work with you.

I have banked with FUNB and Wachovia since FUNB in Charlotte, both commercial and personal.
Over these years I have always received courteous service, even for sometimes difficult transactions.
I am now leaving Wells Fargo. The current branch manager's attitude, discourtesy, and inflated opinion of himself as a branch manager, has triggered this change.
I do not intend to change over 30 years of banking habits just because Wells Fargo has a new branch manager.
Other than the branch manager and one other employee, I have always received courteous service at this branch

My husband and I went in to close our account after switching to the Secu. His payroll check deposited into the Wells Fargo account the day before we closed the account. I called at 9:00 in the morning and spoke with a man to make sure I would be able to come in and withdrawl the amount and close the account. Come to find out they would not let us withdrawl the funds and they said it would be 2 WEEKS before they MAILED us a check with our remaining balance... which was well over a thousand dollars! I have never in my life heard of someone being able to hold a payroll check with there is no negative balance. I will NEVER step foot in this joke of a place again.

I was a good client with this branch for a few years....I had a checking account linked to a savings account. When the checking balance went low there was an automatic transfer of funds at no charge. This worked well for a few years.....then the link was changed by the bank without my knowledge. Went into 75th Street branch and was treated like an idiot saying they would not refund charges.....I closed account. Now they have a debt collector calling every morning for the fees as I closed my accounts last year....yes, they couldn't even close the accounts efficiently. DO NOT BANK AT THIS BRANCH!! Just spoke with manager Josh Collins.....he doen't care and said bad reviews were not his problem when I made him aware of the scale of his extremely poor customer review record. I am going to the local TV stations to tell my story.

FINGER PRINTED TO CASH A CHECK

Normally I conduct my mortgage payments with Wells Fargo in McLean, VA office branch. But today, It was convenient for me to stop at Wells Fargo in Largo, Md to cash my Escrow check from Wells Fargo. The teller "Chantel" ask for two ID's with my check and I gave it to her. Then she gave me a small device with ink in it along with my check, and replied " Press your thumb print in the ink and press it on the front of the check". What the Hell, so I have to put my finger print on at check to cash it. I felt discriminated and racially profiled by her, my name was on the check as well as both of my ID's. It was very embarrassing to stand at the tellers window with other customers and finger print my check. While other were watching, I have never been exposed to anything like this. This has never happen at Wells Fargo in McLean, VA, where I cash checks there all the time. DO NOT BANK HERE! There are better customer services somewhere else. And by the way the teller "CHANTEL, DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT COVER". STAY AWAY

With a child in tow, it is easier to bank using the ATM. At least half the time I need to make a deposit, I am unable to due to the ATM not accepting deposits! Really a draw back because then I have to get back in line either at the drive up window if during office hours or I have to actually go into the bank and then wait on a 20 minute line!

With a child in tow, it is easier to bank using the ATM. At least half the time I need to make a deposit, I am unable to due to the ATM not accepting deposits! Really a draw back because then I have to get back in line either at the drive up window if during office hours or I have to actually go into the bank and then wait on a 20 minute line!

This bank can't make a correct deposit. How hard is it to deposit checks - its a good think I have try to deposit currency I know they couldn't handle thant.

This bank can't make a correct deposit. How hard is it to deposit checks - its a good think I have try to deposit currency I know they couldn't handle thant.

Ineffective Service

I lost my wallet and canceled my credit card. After many phone calls to the terrible credit card department who said they would "rush" me a credit card in 5 days for a fee (I refused) After 10 days I still had no card (the non-fee period) and when I called to ask where my card was they offered to "rush" me a card for a $15 fee. I reminded me that I was supposed to already have my card, and refused th pay the fee. They supposedly sent one. I finally went to the branch to find out what happened to my "non-rush" credit card, they promised me that as a "high value" client my card was on its way. It has now been 3 weeks and I just found out that they never sent me a replacement card at all and instead by account was "blocked" No one could tell me why and to this date I still do not have a replacement card. I have been a customer for 27 years. I am now looking for another bank.

Even though my husband and I have been banking with Wells Fargo for almost 6 years, this branch WILL NOT LET US DEPOSIT CASH INSIDE THE BANK!! They make us deposit cash outside through the ATM, which is a big hassle to go outside to an ATM after you we inside with a teller. I have no idea why this branch has this policy, at other Wells Fatgos we can deposit cash inside. Something is seriously wrong with this branch.

A manager was called over to give approval and basically said that she didn't have time to deal with it. This is after knowing that I have been a customer for over 20 years!!!! I was thumb-printed and we had to produce several forms of ID. I have NEVER received that kind of treatment in ANY bank ANYWHERE!!

This bank closed one of my account w/o notifying me in writing or by phone. I did not receive any message that my business account was closed. I tried to deposit a check and I found out that my account was terminated. I waited 15 minutes for an account specialist and finally the branch manager. When I asked the NEW branch manager for one good reason to stay with Wells Fargo she could not give me one. I just walked out and withdraw all the money.

After banking with them for 10 years I had to get in touch with my branch due to an error. I called for two days, left several messages and finally got a call back after threatening to go down there. The manager picked up the phone with a bad attitude and instantly went into insulting me.
She proceeded to tell me she had more important customers in the bank and was too busy to help me. Well I was a customer too, until that day. I went right down and closed all my accounts. Mine isnt the biggest account in the world but I refuse to bank somewhere I will be treated rudely. If you make a mistake just apologize and get on with it. It was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had in my life.
