This is by far the WORST Wells Fargo bank to attend. Not only are the tellers nasty and rude, but they also make you feel uncomfortable. I usually go to my Wells Fargo Bank on Morris Ave (which is excellent service), but went to this Wells Fargo for the second time and was disappointed YET AGAIN. The first time I went to this bank, the teller was giving me an attitude about my check because it was handwritten by boss and made me feel as though I was a shady customer. I work for my money as much as everyone else. On top of this, the teller even had the audacity to give me the third degree on why my CHECKING account was -1.00, when it was only negative because they transfer that dollar into your savings. The SECOND time I went to this bank (which I only went to because it was convenient at the time), not only was the line out the door, but the staff in general seemed lazy. After sitting in line to give MY money to the bank for 20 minutes, I decided to deposit my check into the ATM (bc normally my regular bank clears my money every Thursday when I deposit my check at 3:45 pm), and again ANOTHER issue occurs with this bank. Not only was my money never cleared, but after calling the Wells Fargo customer service center I was informed that this was an act of pure laziness. After the customer service rep looked at all my transaction history he informed me that there is staff at the bank that clears the checks deposited. If I didn't deposit my check right before closing my money should be available to me. At the Wells Fargo on Morris Ave I deposit my money at 345 every Thursday and my funds are available to me immediately because THEY DO THEIR JOB THERE. There is no reason why a legitimate check is being deposited almost 3 HOURS before the bank closes and my money isn't available until the following morning. PLEASE THINK IT THROUGH BEFORE YOU GO TO THIS BANK. You will be unsatisfied every single time, because I am not the only person who attended this bank and had these issues. I really hope this helps those of you who work for your money and use the bank to HELP ASSIST YOU WITH YOUR MONEY, not give you a hard time and inconvenience you because they are lazy.

Identity Thieves Working At WELLS FARGO locations Coast to Coast! We were victimized!

by IDTheftReport2020, Oct. 22, 2016

From California to Florida WELLS FARGO has a huge problem with employees who are identity thieves. In Port St Lucie Florida our friend Mary Ann Schoens went through hell after Marland Anderson stole her identity and emptied out her account. She was in her late 70's and the stress from the event was horrible; in fact she died a short time after the WELLS FARGO thief who pretended to help her when she went into the branch location where Marland worked. Instead he stole her identity and several other customers and created duplicate debit cards illegally used them to access cash from ATMs! Marland was caught on video taking the cash using the fraudulently created cards. He was arrested - convicted and went to jail. Lots of the 5300 employees WELLS FARGO CEO John Stumpf talked about firing when he was in front of the Senate and House hearings investigating WELLS FARGO were actually identity thieves!! No wonder John Stumpf did not want to discuss it but many of them can be seen at IDTheftReport2020,including Marland Anderson. Bank of America has a huge problem with employees like Mario Elizondo stealing customers identities. Elizondo worked at CEO Brian Moynihan's Bank of America Chicago branch location called the Six Corners Bank of America on Irving Park. Like Marland Anderson, Mario Elizondo created bogus debit cards from the identities of senior citizens he stole and then emptied out their accounts! Mario Elizondo even used the funds for extravagant travel like the trip to Barcelona Spain and Mykonos Greece that he took his lover Jorge Cadenas -also a veteran identity thief - on during August 2016! There are thousands of victims in these cases which are usually at the megabanks rather than community banks.Bank of America was never even aware that Elizondo, a veteran Bank of America employees, was ripping off customers. It was only through a tremendous amount of investigative effort by IDTheftReport2020 associates that led to Mario Elizondo as being the perpetrator. Bank of America denied the claim of the Chicago senior when they conducted their so-called bogus investigation and told the victim he was the person their investigators said was responsible! That was completely unacceptable and ultimately untrue. The victims account was an untouched Roth IRA account which Elizondo attached a checking account to and then the bogus temporary VISA ATM card. BEWARE IN DEALING WITH BOTH WELLS FARGO AND BANK OF AMERICA! Many more details can be viewed at IDTheftReport2020.

this bank is scammers they are so quick to accuse people of doing wrong and will lock your account up with no warnings or written notice. do not mess with this bank im telling you! I have dault with them in the past and each time I regret ever dealing with them!I'm 31 years old and i have four kids and a teen. I hate when I'm treated like a child because of my looks and voice.  People assume I'm a very young adult and not in a good way, but I let them just to see how far they will go and to see what kind of person they are. well this younger banker basically tried to accuse me of planning a scheme with my debit card by the way don't even have my name on it. she went on and on about how they fix it to were the scam couldn't be done anymore. my whole thing is she was so worried about me and other folks when the fact of the matter they was on the world news for scamming their customers and opening accounts in people names just to make it look like they were meeting sales. but anyhow this young banker had the nerve to ask for my log in information and not only that ask me what was my source of income and ask if I was planning to do direct deposit with them and i told her yea. but ofcourse by law the bank isn't allowed to set up direct deposit without me filling out a form I honestly don't know how she did it but she did it she cancelled out my direct deposit with my other bank and set up the direct deposit with their bank I was waiting and waiting on my money to post I thought my other bank was holding my funds. I was going off on them like crazy because I missing almost 700 dollars in my account and i started getting a feeling like what if somehow wellsfargo had It sent to them and sure enough I got a message saying my direct deposit has posted. do you have any ideal how stupid I felt going off on my other bank accusing them if stealing my money and sending them emails and calling them I swear I'm not letting this crap go! this was pure fraud and i have solid proff thank god this may not seem like a big deal to you but to me it Is. that is just creepy for someone to call with your personal information pretending to be you or even signing your signature to get what they want. my entire day was taken up today because of this crap and not only that I tried to close my account out and they wouldn't do it I wasn't negative or nothing didn't owe them crap tell me why when i went to the bank to pull my money out from the direct deposit they setup they tried to tell me i couldn't get it out ofcourse after a good 25min they came off it and I told them my account should've been closed.and i also said my money wasn't never suppose to come here to begin with. I didn't tell any of you to setup direct deposit for me and then I said again I want Thus account closed.well the next day I logged in my account to make sure nothing was going on but sure enough my direct deposit that I withdrawn they made it disappear like it was never their now I owe them like 659.07 and when i called they tried to say they sent my money back because my account was closed at that Time but it's not even closed so that was another lie and the 2nd lie they said was I have to pay the money back. thats one thing I hate about wellsfargo they know how to make transactions disappear. but they messed with the right women I'm sueing them for emotional distress and finacial distress because I was late getting paid because of them and the stress they caused me of not knowing were my money was for six days was wrong. like I said I have kids to take care of and I'm pregnant all this unnesserary stress and also they lied about a check I deposited last month they said it was counterfeit when that wasn't the case and i have prof of that as well I never deault with so much bs in such a short period of time in my life with a bank I can't believe they took a chance of lossing their job over something so silly all I know is you can't do harm to me it's splitting a pole or crossing a paths with a black cat you jenxs yourself for nothing!!!

While traveling on Saturday, July 30, 2016 I stopped by this branch to get some extra cash while I was on the road. This was just after 9:00am in the morning. This is not my branch that I do business with andI am so glad. As I was trying to withdraw $80from my account I called the girl in the drive thru and told her I needed to withdraw some money. I sent her my bank card and license and she sent me back a withdrawal slip and a pen. When I opened the tube the pen fell out where I could not locate it. I grabbed a pen i had and filled out the form and sent it back to her. She immediately called back on the speaker and said mam this is filled out in pencil. I sent you a pen. I explained to her that the pen fell out of the tube and I couldn't find it so I used my own pen. So she said in her nasty voice i will send you another pen. But wanted me to fill out the same form i had filled out already. so i filled in the amount with the 2nd pen she sent me and sent it back again. She called me again and said i needed to fill out the form with the pen. Now i was confused. If i needed to fill out a form again why didn't she send me a new form? By this time I was so angry. I proceeded to call her and tell her to send back my card and my license. I had had it with her. She was the rudest individual I have dealt with in a very long time. She had my blood boiling. I didn't get her name because I was fuming. I left the drive thru and had to stop and sit for awhile because this witch had made me so angry. I have not only experienced other people in Palm Coast before but she won the race. Nastiest people I have ever come in contact with. Very poor customer service. My job involves extensive customer service and if I acted this way to any of our customers I might as well be looking for a new job. I know who you are and you should and I will make it a point to complain to the top of Wells Fargo.

The most horrible banking experience I have ever had. So much for big corporate banking that does not care about the client.
The branch manager does not even have courtesy to call me regarding my concern even when I went to the bank 5 times to address my problem.
They promise the world but does not deliver. What a horrible experience from the manager and staff of Wells Fargo.

As soon as we walked in Monica Awasthi looked at us like WHAT DO YOU WANT?
We wanted notary service which they couldn't do it the way we wanted but that's fine we understand but please please explain and say it in a a nice way rather than so rude. The manager came to talked to us he was not better either.Monica said to go ahead and complaint about her.
I went to the missouri city location the day before showed the branch manager the paper work the way we wants it done.
He said that's fine that's why we came here.At the missouri city location also I had same experience they were all so rude. When I told the manager i don't have much time left to turn the paper work in so I need it notarized as soon as possible he said it's not his problem.Since it's a free service please don't be so rude.We came to you because we have an account with you. Please understand we have a choice and there are plenty of other banks out there that provides better service.

A teller told me that I was unable to make a cash withdrawal from my account, because a cash deposit was made the same day. Most institutions recognize cash deposits as "available tender" immediately.  I went to another Wells Fargo branch and was able to withdrawal MY money. Also, the customer service was excellent.

It's really a shame that this beautiful Wells Fargo location in Astoria, Oregon has such an over bearing and degrading management staff. I had gone in to make a simple deposit. The teller who was quite nice told me there was a problem with the check and needed to ask for assistance from a manager. I told the teller that would be fine and waited for the assistant manager to help. The assistant manager came over looked at the check and proceeded to lecture me on how the check was potentially fraudulent and refused to deposit it into my account. It made me feel as though I was a criminal instead of a account holder at this bank. I had asked the manager why my deposits where such a problem only at this location? I was trying to understand what the potential problem was and how to go about fixing it. The manager replied that due to the fact that I had not had my account here for more than a year they would not accept any of my paychecks from my local employer with no further discussion to be had. Then the manager proceeded to inform me that I was welcome to cash it over at the Bank of the Pacific. A bank in which I do not have an established account and I was not looking to cash my check regardless. It's a shame when a bank will not accept your funds with nothing asked for in return and have their pretentious and demeaning staff treat you like dirt.

They keep turning-over new hires, the good clerks leave, the good manager left also. The current manager is some what offensive in her interactions.  The staff-are- either, real good and/or real bad, but good ones leave. I went into the Keizer branch and the first question the manager asks of me is "Are You OK?" Very odd question, not- what can I do for you today, but instead she asks again "Are you sure your OK?" I was a little offended by this- so I asked Her "are you OK?" Her response was very LOUD "Of course- I'm fantastic!" So then.... I wondered what was she really saying, that I'm not?- But she is?
I found her behavior exaggerated, superficial and detached from reality.
-Who does the hiring and do they actually care what their staff portray? And/or do they know what the inside workings really look like? I wished the other tellers were available I really don't do superficial all that well.

This branch just hired a new "service director" named Brent Cook. This is my home branch and I expect a personal relationship with the bank I have done business with for over 20 years (since before this branch even opened)   While on vacation my account became overdrawn because of a bank error that caused my mortgage to be paid twice.  Brent refused to help over the phone.  He refused to call the mortgage department for me to correct the problem.  He refused to reverse the overdraft fees.  He refused stating that it was bank policy that he could not help me over the phone, even though he could certainly have verified my identity and I know most of the staff at this branch.   He offered to "help" me by shirking any responsibility for the problem and telling me to call the main 800 number (apparently the call centers are "allowed" to help over the phone even though my own branch refuses to!).   Then he told me that the only way that the problem could be addressed was to send me out of my way in the middle of vacation to a branch office in Beaverton , OR. to speak to the branch manager there by the name of Damon Brissett.   I called in advance to Damon and told him I would be there by 5pm, and he said that he would be there until 6pm.  At 5pm I arrived and Damon was conveniently leaving the branch and could not help me.  He instead introduced me to a teller since he "was unavailable" .  The teller, Sandra, was fantastic and did her best to help me but did not have the experience and simply documented my needs to Damon in an email so that he would take care of them as soon as he could..  Damon, in turn, did NOTHING and did not even respond to the email.  In the wake of the refusal by my branch's "service" manager, Brent Cook, to assist me, and the unavailability of the manager he referred me and whom I went out of my way to meet with, this small problem got bigger.  Wells Fargo mortgage continued to attempt making a double payment for my mortgage, and my account continued to have fees applied due to their error.   Hours and hours of my vacation time were lost and I was very stressed and upset by this experience and total service failure by the bank.   Both Damon and Brent seem to think that as managers it is their job to pass my problems on to someone else as both of them refused to take any ownership of the situation.   Both of them deserve to be fired.

I need to say we had a experience with the local branch not able to do anything.  We are coming into the office to payoff a loan on the day the payment pulls.. we called to have the auto payment that comes from our account stopped and the branch doesn't have the capability to do that and had us call the 800 number which we did and my husband ill and in bed and he wouldn't even have my husband verify that I could talk to him to try to get payment stopped.  It appears that Banks in general are run by corporate bologna ..Even when we go into the branch they have to call to get payoff as they have no ability to do that. They can take your money and charge you fees and it is rather funny they can't even service your account for a simple payoff question.  It doesn't feel very hometown like it used to be..sad but true
Don't go here if you want good service

Poor luck at my Stonehenge branch in Raleigh, NC. I needed a warranty deed notarized & witnessed, which I've always had done at my bank. Even though two other Wells Fargo banks had already done this for my siblings, the answer was a firm and ungracious NO. Not at all the kind of service I'm used to. I closed my account. The bank manager (who was chewing gum, of all things) confirmed to my face that he didn't care if I closed it. Another branch of W-F had tried to charge me $5 for a cashier's check, even though I had a qualifying amount on deposit. Bottom line: I am tired of being nickel and dimed. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I just moved across the country and went to set a checking and savings account through Wells Fargo. Seeing that I am used to Credit Unions I did not know how costly the fees would whined up being. Gladys Escamilla was the lady that I set up my account with and from the start she was very short with me and acted like she was above me seeing as I had a lot of questions about what everything meant, because banks are So different from Credit Unions. I got my bank account and I was told that there would be a $35 fee everytime they overdraft from my savings to my checking account and also that I would need to use my card at least ten times so that I would not get yet another fee. This was on a Friday. By Monday I get an email confirmation charging a fee and I had not even touched my account. I looked through all of my papers that I had received and realized that I was not going to pay $40 in fees a month just to keep an account open. I went into the Wells Fargo on Lawyers Rd. in Mint Hill and Gladys Escamilla came over to me asking why I was there. I told her that I wanted to cancel my account because I did not have the money to pay so much in fees a month she said there were not any fees. So I proceeded to go through the papers she had given me and explain the different fees and I was being polite the entire time saying that I just need to save the little money I have after this big move and the only thing she continued to say to me was "You read it all wrong." I walked her through it again and showed her exactly what fees and after each she agreed and at the end all she said was once more "You read it all wrong" she never bothered to correct me or explain what it was that I was reading wrong because I had the proof in my hands. I stayed polite and she just stuck up her nose to me and I finally just said that I did not want to do business with her anymore and at that time she got her manager and did not even say another word to me. I am eighteen years old and I am beyond polite and considerate of others and I work with customers all the time and I know that you NEVER tell your customer that their wrong, even if they might be. She was very Unprofessional and snooty. I will NEVER do business with these people again!

I opened checking/savings accounts at this branch back in 2003 when I moved to FL and never had a problem until it changed over to Wells Fargo.  About 1 1/2 years ago problems started.  Most of the trustworthy people who use to work there left and the new employees were worthless.  They couldn't provide services for the simplest requests such as a debit card in my son's name.  Got it wrong 3 times, never did receive one.  The last straw was when they opened up an account and transferred money out of another account without my authorization.  When I questioned them about it, all the manager could say was I'm sorry and could provide no explanation. The guy that opened an account without my permission was a total jerk to me when I went in to close my account. My whole family closed their savings and checking accounts with Wells Fargo and while we were doing so, the guy at the teller window next to me was having the same problems.  I told him I had the same experience and if he were wise, he would close his accounts also.  They really are clueless.  Unfortunately, I moved some of my accounts to another bank, only to find out that the manager that had apparently been fired from WF was hired by my new bank to be a teller.  Still looking for yet another bank that I can feel confident about.

Firstly, we applied for a mortgage loan and the next thing we know we're getting notified our information has been sold to everyone and is all over the internet.  We're at huge risk!  When I confronted Everett he didn't even respond.  Next, after so many years with Wells Fargo, in the last 2 years we have constantly been notified of a security breach and that our debit/credit cards need to be replaced.  This is the biggest hassle!  My husband signs on with his new card and within days someone has duplicated it and is using it everywhere.  We are in Dallas using the card and they are in Humble and the surrounding area using it like crazy.  In one day they hit us for $1400 and Wells Fargo didn't do one thing to stop it until they tried it at a Mexican grocery store.  We are not Mexican.  They hit us for much more than that before we knew it and days later we are still waiting for a reversal.  They said it could be 10 business days.  Many people don't have the money to spare!  And NO ONE knows why they didn't stop transactions in another city at the same time on the same card.  PATHETIC!  Mary and Kineesha have worked with us to fix the issue, but this is really the last straw.  Don't put yourself through this.  Wells Fargo has problems.

Maybe you agreed to have your info sold and didn't read all of the papers????  I haven't had any problems with Wells Fargo since banking with them in 2007.  I even refinanced 4 years ago and everything has been GREAT!!!! Mary is my Personal Banker and she is excellent at what she does.

I was banking with this branch since 1999 when it was First Union and then Wachovia and now Wells Fargo. I have bad experience after it became Wells Fargo.
Please check your statements as wells fargo is ripping of customers with monthly service fee even though you met the requirement. Bankers do not know hot to fix this issue. I have this issue for 6 months now.
I am going to close all of my accounts.

Please DO NOT BANK with WELLS FARGO.

I closed a checking account out on March 2 with Kevin Fehr and received written confirmation of the closure. On March 10, a charge was  attempted on my checking account. Instead of Wells declining the charges as account closed this bank actually processed the charge and accessed my Wells Fargo credit card to pay for it ( since my checking account was closed). What kind of bank allows charges on a CLOSED  CHECKING ACCOUNT?  Then if that was not enough,  this bank  in turn actually charged me an overdraft fees to my credit card for this!!!!!  REALLY AN OVERDRAFT CHARGE ON A CLOSED BANK ACCOUNT?? APPARENTLY WELLS IS REALLY HARD UP FOR MONEY.  I called Kevin Fehr about the matter since he closed my account out. Kevin  said he would look into it and "call me back" to ensure this was taken care of as that should not of happened. Well Kevin never called me back. I left two messages for him after that- no return call. I then physically went in this bank to get the charge removed and to get the overdraft charged returned. I asked to speak to the manager, however "he was busy" and I got stuck  speaking with Eduardo about this issue. He told me he could not help  me.  REALLY HOW HARD IS IT TO REVERSE AN OVERDRAFT CHARGE THAT SHOULD NOT OF OCCURED? Instead I was told  I had to open a fraud case.   REALLY, GIVE ME A BREAK!  IF A PERSON CLOSES A CHECKING ACCOUNT THE ACCOUNT SHOULD BE CLOSED PERIOD. ALL ATTEMPTED CHARGES SHOULD BE REJECTED/ ACCOUNT CLOSED!
Apparently that does not happen with Wells Fargo.

I will be reporting this issue to the Colorado bank commission. This is just poor business.
One would think personal bankers would have the ability to reverse overdraft charges. If these two cant do something as simple as that do you really want them assisting you with bigger financial issues.....

My father got a loan and the teller from the bank from Kearny nj Felix Garcia gave us wrong information on a loan. He informed his manger and she was no help was rude and always said she was busy. Then they put this employee in the jersey city branch. We have a lot of accounts with well Fargo and are very upset the help we could not get. We us a family are thinking of moving our business accounts and no more working with this bank.

"Someone will be with you in a moment" means "have a seat, this could take awhile."  Several times I have waited 10-15 mins to talk to someone and just gave up and left.  Also I do not recommend getting a home loan from WF.  The process can take 1-2 months, they keep asking for documents you've already sent, and good luck trying to reach someone on the phone in their mortgage center in Charlotte.

Hours are horrible,,,they need to stagger their teller starts times to accomodate all customer depositurs who work night/graveyeard shits...such as people who work in hospitals to be able to do banking before 9am and after 5pm,,,,how about 6:30a-3p shift, normal 9-5 and a evening once or twice week from noon to 7pm...gee that would be what real places of work do for customers...how about a weekend too,   Moving all my money out

Waited in the drive-thru and was tended to at 1:00 p.m, their closing time, I was told that the cashiers check I was looking to refund needed to be transacted inside the store, but they were closed, when I insisted that I was in line and simply needed to do a simple procedure, they went on to tell me that the doors were locked. Lol, locked at 1:00pm ON THE DOT.
