where do I begin?
Upon enrolling for a business account, I was told they would do a personal credit check. I was assured this would be a "soft" inquiry. WRONG. they dinged and hurt my credit.
I struggled for nearly a month to enable colleagues in my company.
Then, upon one enrollment, they changed the account address.
This caused them to fail to send a digital keyfob that would allow me to make direct payments.
I am now delayed in making payment.
Throughout all of this, the fellow who enrolled me simply stopped responding to my emails and calls.
Now, it's time to go to the manager.
What a waste of time!!

On 08/14/2012 I went to my local (Howell, NJ) branch to get an important document out of my safe deposit box, because I needed it for the same afternoon. In addition, I wanted to send money somewhere via "wire transfer" One of the bank employe Mr. Jason Clark offered to help me. When I told him that I want to "wire" money, he asked for a photo ID like a driver license as well as some sort of bank card with a Pin # I gave him my photo ID and told him that I have not a clue what kind of card or pin # he is referring to. I have also told him that I do this "wire transfer" regularly about 5-6 times per year and I was never been asked for anything else than a picture ID. Than in a very agitated voice, he told me that who ever did this before, did it wrong. So I told him, that it was his boss "branch manager" He than proceeded to tell me that he does not have a boss. When I told him that I would think that the branch manager would be his boss, he told me that the manager quit. I said, OK and I have proceeded to show him the previous paperwork to make things easier. When I told him that I never needed to show anything else besides my picture ID, he got extremely agitated and with a raised voice, he told me "not to tell him how to do his job" When I have tried to explain that I wasn't trying to do that,he got even angrier and refused to do the "wire transfer" When I told him that his behavior is unacceptable and I would take my money out of this bank, he leaned over his desk, almost up to my face and told me that he "does not give a damn" regardless of how much money I may have with them and find someone else to do the wire transfer. In fact he has even suggested that I go to one of the other branch in another town. When I told him: why would I do that, once again he leaned over his desk, right up to my face and told me that he does not give a damn what I want.He is a rather large man, about 6'2" - 6'4" and at that point I definitely felt intimidated and unsafe by his actions. Than I asked him to give me access to my safe deposit box. That request was also denied as well, even though I made it rather clear to him as to how important it is to get something out of there. A few hours after that, I have called Wells Fargo customer service and I was referred to a supervisor I have told her exactly about my negative experience and concerns, she told me that it will be reported to a "higher" department and I should be expecting a phone call from someone at Wells Fargo. A few hours later, I got a call from the temporary branch manager, Kasey Uchin and when I told her what has happened, she seemed genuinely understanding and concerned.
So she told me that she will investigate this issue as well as report it to her boss, Mary Yono - District Manager. She also told me that in a day or two, I should expect a call from either her or her boss. Now it is for days later and needless to say, no one has called me.
I have been with this bank for over 18 years without any problem. Ever. Also, I have always kept a rather large amount of money with them.OK. The truth is that Wells Fargo has bought out Wachovia and now there are some new people at the Howell branch. It seem that Wells Fargo isn't overly interested in customer relation like Wachovia or even the bank before that,1st National Bank used to be. How can Wells Fargo expect customers to have to or want to deal with rude, disrespectful and arrogant employees?? I for one, will not!!!

I called about a withdrawal from my banking account and pressed the option to speak to a representative. Someone from the drive-thru picked up the phone. I asked for her help and she didn't help me but tried to give me an 800 number to call using letters 1-800-2WELLS Obviously its wrong. I asked her to give me the numeric digits which she did not know; another inappropriate answer for a customer service rep. Since she could not help me she seemed agitated and stressed and preceded to tell me her problems such as "Ma'am I have 3 cars waiting to speak to me in the drive-thru" What was she telling me? Was she telling me I am not a customer or that I am not important? I called the bank directly, chose option zero for a customer service representative and she picked up the phone! She should have NEVER picked up the phone if she could not help me or find somebody who could. Finally, she transferred me to Steven who was able to assist me with my original question about a specific withdrawal. Steven also reported the incident to a branch manager who phoned me later that day. I just wanted somebody to know that if you are a customer service representative you should actually be able to help customers to a certain degree without making them feel like they are bothering them or make them feel rushed.

On my statement every week it showed $500 available for advance on my direct deposit of social security. No problem. This is great since SS is not deposited on the same day but the 3rd Wed and each month different thus getting prescriptions etc is difficult and at times I had overdraft charge. Having this I could advance on the months it comes late and none on the months it is early. Great. So I took advance for the first time in 2 years. I was told to be sure the deposit comes and that there is sufficient funds to pay no problem. I borrowed the money and paid it back in a week . The following month I called to get $200 as I will be getting caught up. I was told it was cancelled. I asked why and they said because of overdrafts. I said between day approved there were none and that is why it will help. Sorry... I said I would not have paid for my high school reunion to avoid increase in cost had I known this was no longer available but cancelled. I relied on it and now can not get my chemo infusion because they lied to me. The bank said it was available because of the automatic deposit. They said nothing about the fact that it could be cancelled at the whim of the bank at a moments notice. All I was told was it was available .

I went to this bank on 8/8 during my office hours just to use the express send service so I can send money to my home country. I was in a rush because my outstanding bills in my country were already overdue. Unfortunately, my request was remained "pending" for few days after I went to the bank but only found out that there was a new waiting policy for of up to 5 days after I made a call. The banker did not even bother to inform me nor call me back after my 2 attemptep calls with him. It's been a week now that my request has been pending and not been activated yet. I tried to call again with the banker today but i didnt get a return call. Hope this branch will improve their service to customers.

... because I have decided that it is just better to move on and join a credit union. I do not want to have bad feelings about the one woman who floats between this branch and the one on Stony Hill Rd in Yardley. However, I will not do business with anyone who treats me with disrespect.

I wish I could give this bank zero stars. It happened in the office located on 16830 San Fernando Mission Blvd, Granada Hills, CA. My husband recently passed away and I wanted to bring the original DC. I notified them for the constant harassing phone calls. The officer was very unsecure in his work, asking the next window woman for help in a “village gossip style” instead of scheduling an appointment or taking her directly to me Indeed, very law level of professionalism!!! I just WIDOWED. The supervisor refused to serve me and open the door. They treated me like shit - I will never ever go back. What goes around comes around.
No wonder, the representative go fishing for young clients in a low income neighborhoods in college campuses.

I've banked at this location for more than a decade. The previous manager Mike was there for all those years. About 18 (or so) months ago he was transferred out. Prior to that many of the other bankers had been moved to other locations.
I went in to close an account because I was suddenly being charged a service fee. After being told I couldn't close it the banker was finally able to do so but forgot to transfer the remaining funds from it to one of my 3 other accounts. He told me that it wouldn't be a problem & the money would be transferred the following day.
It's now been a month & I still am trying to get my money back. I ended up calling the 800 number hoping they could do it but that was also a waste of 20 minutes because I was told he was unable & I would need to visit the branch location since the account has already been closed.
On top of all this I decided to take advantage of a balance transfer offer I received for my Wells Fargo (previously Wachovia) credit card. I've had over $10k credit limit since the day it was opened in 2008. I've never been late on a payment, have never had more than a $2500 balance & never carried a balance for more than 2 or 3 months. Most months my balance is around $75 (the autopay on my cellphone).
Enough back story, I received the transfer offer along with a notice telling me that my limit had also been increased. I called to have the transfer done electronically & was told that I am no longer valid for that offer because I've not paid off my balance quick enough. My current balance is $800 (which is less than the increase they gave me).
I can't understand how they advertise as being number 1 in customer service. Everyone I speak to about Wells Fargo seem to be having 1 problem or another.

I was told I got pre-approved for a mortgage with Wells Fargo. My closing date was suppose to be July 17, 2012 and it seemed like they didn't start working on my file until 2 days before closing. Of course, we didn't close on that date. Not to mention we got an extension, and we're suppose to close in 2 days. I haven't heard any updates from anyone. No one will answer the phone or return my email. I think this is very unprofessional to avoid a customer especially after I have put money into appraisal fees etc. This is the worse treatment and service I've have every gotten from a company.

Our Wells Fargo account has been repeatedly compromised. With debit card charges in various different states. Each time a new debit card is issued and we are told the account is secure. After Wells Fargo investigates, we get a letter stating it was their error. After this last time I told them we will be closing our account. I don't know if they are doing this on purpose or not, but it doesn't seem write that I get a new protect yourself from fraud every time this happened and that I get their reps trying to sell me on more protection. It should already be secure, it is a bank and a long standing one at that. I suggest people monitor their accounts and move to a different bank, but always close your account after the first time. We kept ours open because they suggested there was no cause to worry. Well we were wrong, don't be a victim, this bank will not protect your assets.

How can this bank get away with charging $35 overdraft fees??? I thought there were laws against this now. They take out the larger amount 1st, so that you bounce numerous checks instead of the occasional 1. HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!!!

Horrible service, incompetent, constant turnover of employees. I had to order my business debit card 3 times to get it. I am both a biz and personal client. Once I ordered the biz debit card they started to mail all by biz statements to my house! All they care about it opening new accounts so they get their commissions and kick you to the curb afterwards. They also misinformed me on what the online banking system could and could not do. My montly biz fees skyrocket on the 2nd year w/ them. Also all my personal accounts started to get a 25.00/mthly fee beginning two months ago. I'm off to a new bank.

I HATE this branch. I've been banking at this one for about three years and every time I go inside, it's completely new bankers. At one point, their "team" was made up of a bunch of young guys who would actually rate women as they walked up to the teller counter. I had a banker sit in front of me and my husband and use the "F" word in conversation. He convinced us to open up a second savings account because it would "look good" when applying for a home loan. It ended up being lies. But not to worry, when we went back, he didn't work there anymore because no one stays for long! Today's experience was having a teller treat me like a pauper because I don't have checks and I needed a money order. This was followed by her announcing at the front counter the total balance of my accounts ALOUD for everyone to hear. I HATE this branch.
