I am a US Bank customer and I called about having something notarized.  They won't do it unless it's a US Bank document.  First bank I've ever been too where this was the case. They referred me to the UPS Store across the parking lot.  Will be looking at other banks.  Not sure if this is a California law but the state I'm originally from would certainly do it.  For free as long as I am a customer.
