The male personal banker does not give complete accurate information to his customers. He comes across as monotone and not even interested. It's like he's getting his training right there on the job. Some important information comes across very confusing. Which makes an easy situation or matter... difficult. It seems they spend time pushing products then really addressing what is most helpful.

US Bank processes transactions between the hours of 12 am and 6 am and then posts these transactions for the previous day. This is not what their own policy states, as seen below:

Transactions are received differently by us, depending on the method used. Some are pre-authorized when you complete the transaction, like debit card transactions, but may take several days before being sent to us. Others, such as online account transfers, are completed and received by us at the moment you make them. And, in still other cases, we don’t know about a transaction until we receive it (for example, a paper check or ACH). In any case, the transactions we receive are accumulated throughout the day, then posted to your account each business day in the evening.

I attempted a funds transfer and the person who helped me was snobby and rude. If it wasnt for this banks manager, I would go elsewhere for banking services. Need to hire more respectful people if you wish to have a sucessful branch... very ANGRY

Just would like to say that I have a business relationship with US bank because of my job and there is a certain teller who does not like me at all (I have no idea why) whenever I come up to the drive through she does not aknowledge me, she does not greet me, she does not say a word to me.
I have a call into the branch managr. so far he or she has not returned my call.

Mortgage payment was running into grace period so I went to the branch. The branch wasn't open yet so I put the payment and coupon in the night depository. Next statement showed up with a late fee because the payment wasn't processed till 3 days later which the teller said was normal procedure. Apparently they can't make enough by legitimate means so they soak you every chance they get.

US Bank IN Kennesaw, GA if you have any dealing with them you are better off going to another bank. But by no means don't us US Bank. this bank is incompetent, the right hand don't know what the left hand is doing. I fill unappreciated. by no means will I ever deal with any bank under US Bank

I had deposited a local bank note to my account at US Bank and not only did they put a 7 day hold on it (could have been more, but I had to call my bank to tell them to release the funds), but I had tried transferring my money to another financial institution and US Bank charged my 36.00 because they said I had insuffeccient funds because my check had not cleared. I also recently had tried to wire funds from my usbank account to another financial institution and I was charged 30.00. This is not a charge that I receive from most other financial institutions. I would not recommend anyone to do business with US Bank.

My husband and I together have several accounts at the Sunrise & Swan branch of US Bank. On June 11, 2014, one of them was overdrawn with a "soft posting." The tellers can see this information and they call, however, Dinelle Caldwell (teller) waited to the next day to place the courtesy call at 10:56 a.m., advising us to make a transfer or deposit, which we did immediately. The transfer says immediate/ same day. At 11:00 a.m., we later learned from bank records, there was an overdraft charge applied. When we went in and spoke directly to Ms. Caldwell, she claimed that (1) she cannot apply or reverse any charge. This is a lie told by the banker to us, the customers who have entrusted our deposits to this institution, because when something similar happened once in the past with other erroneous charges, they were able to reverse those charges and were glad to do so. (2) We then called the online bankers, trying to reach a supervisor. They claim that they cannot reverse it, but that the branch could. Again, some person or persons at US Bank are lying to customers about bank procedures. (3) this same phone official denied us access to a supervisor, refused to give access to a supervisor. At the Sunrise & Swan branch, Dinelle Caldwell was very unprofessional, and condescending when confronted with the inconsistencies between what she said and what we know to be bank practices from the past. She also claimed to be the branch manager, but claimed to have no power to reverse the erroneous charge. After the humiliating treatment that we received I returned to the branch to request one of her business cards. I overheard her loudly ranting about me and my account details to a new teller, Eileen and within hearing of Safeway customers and this is also a breach of trust and unethical behavior for the representative of a financial institution.

I've been asking for something on my statements to be fixed for three months. Since receiving Mays statements, at the beginning of June I have sent three e-mails which received no replies. When I called, the phone number had been changed and no one answers the new one that was given by the phone company.

ATM is never available

Almost every time I go to the normal branch ATM, it is unavailable to do anything but balance inquiries. I need money, that's why I chose a large bank that supposedly has many branches for convenience. There is zero convenience with this bank. How about you fill your ATM on Saturdays before leaving! Is this a novel idea for you? Horrible branch.

Almost every time I go to the normal branch ATM, it is unavailable to do anything but balance inquiries. branch manager with bad attitude

I had an account with this branch since 1993. I moved from the area, and due to convenient locations, I switched banks. I missed a magazine subscription that was auto billed to this account. Yes, my fault, but the understanding of this branch manager was nonexistent! I totally understand that I need to pay an overdraft fee, but I was not informed of the overdraft until this branch charged me 2 additional extended overdraft fees!! So, I had to pay $92.88 on a $6.88 overdraft!! He did not return my call, and when I called the next day, he was very snarky and refused to remove any of the fees! I can say, up until this experience, USBANK got high marks from me, but this guy does not have customer service in the best interest, only making money. Ridiculous!

Today I received the worst customer service I have ever been given at this branch. The young ladies working in there gang up and are not friendly, even thou they pretend to be. After 10 years and never having any problems with this branch, Kristin ruined that for me today. I closed my account. The manager Tricia didn't even care. Horrible experience. Good bye US Bank. Canyon branch in Boulder Colorado is just awful.

The teller April accused me of breaking the law for using a personal account to conduct a business transactions claiming that it is illegal !! She is wrong it is not illegal !! She has no right to accuse customers of breaking the law because she is ignorant lol

The teller was rude and dismissive . She didn't even know the different sizes of the deposit boxes and told me I would never get one. Oh really?
When I told her to put me on a wait list she act like it was annoying. I'm sure she threw my request away. Then I tried to tell her there are different sizes she said they didn't have room for different sizes only small and large. Oh really? Before I left I tried to confirm my request and she just kept saying goodbye, goodbye. I called the the manager and the asst mgr took my info and never got back to me. VERY POOR Customer relations!!!!!

I REALLY LIKE THE LOCATION ON POWERS AND CONSTITUTION. AWESOME FRIENDLY STAFF AND WHEN THEY DON'T KNOW THEY INVESTIGATE. I ACTUALLY GO OUT OF MY WAY TO VISIT HERE SINCE I HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE BRANCH THAT IS CLOSER. REALLY COMES DOWN TO THE MANAGER OPERATING AN INDIVIDUAL BRANCH

I wanted to give a shout out for Evan at University Hills branch who is one of the bankers. He is always so friendly and positive. US bank is lucky to have him. I hope he moves up the chain of command quickly.
Before him, there was a banker named Robert. I liked him as well. One time there was a mistake on my loan papers and Robert hand delivered them to me so closing could take place. I think this branch has particularly good service. This branch is located near Colorado and Yale.

Don't bank with the brand, Balwin Arcadia, California. The Assistant manager, David Wei, is very un proffession and rude! I have never met anyone who act like a big shot and a big talk with no delivery. He treats customers like they are all under him and not worth his time.

This US bank drive thru staff would not let me cash a income tax check stating my husband had to be present. My husband had already signed the check and I have several accounts with this bank and the necessary funds to cover the check. The service was extremely slow and even a customer in another car asked me if everything was okay because her transaction was completed before mine. Beware this bank is always slow and has the worst reputation for customer service. I asked the gentlemen if he had spoken to his manager because I have never had any problems cashing a check in the past and I have cashed many checks that was endorsed with my name and my husband's name. He stated the manager said the check could not be cashed. He did not offer me the opportunity to speak to his manager.

This US bank drive thru staff would not let me cash a income tax check stating my husband had to be present. The service was extremely slow and even a customer in another car asked me if everything was okay because her transaction was completed before mine. Beware this bank is always slow and has the worst reputation for customer service. I asked the gentlemen if he had spoken to his manager because I have never had any problems cashing a check in the past and I have cashed many checks that was endorsed with my name and my husband's name. He stated the manager said the check could not be cashed. He did not offer me the opportunity to speak to his manager.

Tried to have a parental form (downloaded from Brazil's consulate) signed by a notary (at Issaquah branch) so my husband can travel with our younger son and the notary refused to sign it because there was no verbiage on the form - the section dedicated to notary was not good enough. She directed me to the mail clinic across the street to have it signed. I paid a $10fee and I resolved my problem. If US Bank needs to introduce a fee to have notary services available, please do that and straighten out your process. It's not plausible that "other banks can sign it but US Bank needs the verbiage" in the notary's words. Very disappointed with US Bank!

This comment is in response to the woman who is disappointed because the notary at the bank refused to sign a form she brought in that she had downloaded from the Brazilian Consulate; I am a notary, and the company that I work (I do Not work at a bank) for pays the fees associated with renewing my notary stamp And the bond that is required to be a notary. However it is up to ME to ensure that the correct verbiage is on the form that I am notarizing. Just because I have a notary bond doesn't mean that I cannot personally cannot be held liable if something isn't correct, I WILL be held liable if I notarize a form with incorrect verbiage. My guess is that the form that this customer had brought in did not comply to the WA State laws that are in place; these are rules that all of us notaries have to abide by. When we, as notaries, are not certain of something or know for a fact that the form you have presented us with doesn't have the correct verbiage on it, we have to refuse to notarize your signature because we could personally be held liable for errors. The notary was simply protecting his/her interest, and the fact that the customer was able to "fix" her situation across the street for $10 tells me that some people that have notary stamps don't care if they could be held liable for an error or not, they are just out to make money. Believe me when I say that once you've had an investigator show up with obviously forged documents that you supposedly notarized and are then forced to surrender your stamp and have a new one made that looks different because of the forgery, you tend to pay Very close attention to exactly What you are notarizing and for Whom.

Useless 'banker' refused to notarize a document because she didn't feel comfortable.
This branch is always understaffed, a situation made even more frustrating because the tellers engage in chit-chat regardless of the length of the line of people needing attention.
Downtown branch is so much more helpful!

Yesterday, I went to the Uptown branch expecting to have a cashiers check made so that I could purchase a car. Everything was verified. The money was good, transferred to my checking from a US bank trust in downtown MPLS. 3 people including 2 managers denied me my money because they weren't "comfortable" also. I had to call the dealership and let them know that I would have to wait longer now to purchase the car. Hooray almost losing my deposit, and this isn't the first time I've had trouble with this location. I should keep going to Lake St on the east side, I feel like Hennepin is their training center.

This branch is a joke!! They will place a hold on your check so they can hold on to the money. I deposited a check on a Tuesday. They put a hold on it, and that some of the money would be released on Thursday, and told me there was nothing they could do about it. I found out that branch did NOT release the funds on Thursday when I went to pay get my car out of the shop, the debit card was denied.
When I called they said there was nothing they could do and that the funds would be available in another week. I asked is there was anything to get the funds released earlier.
Sandy told me I need to call the Title company that wrote the check and see if they put a stop payment on the check. I did and the Title officer told me she did NOT. I called back and Sandy told me she would look into it. Sandy called back and said I needed a copy of the cancelled check and then the funds would be released. When I called the Title company back they told me they were pro-active about this and they had a copy of the cancelled, and they emailed me the copy. I then called Sandy back and told her I had the copy and that the check had cleared the next day (Wednesday). She told me she would call me back. This was on Friday. She NEVER called back.

Don't do business with them for loans of any kind. My local branches (Plymouth, MN and Robbinsdale, MN) have incompetent loan staff partially because they're always new hires that don't know anything. Worse, they give incorrect information. The corporate loan application phone help line is a joke.
Just like any big bank--NOBODY at US Bank cares about the customer. I'd advise looking for a hometown bank. That's what I'm doing this week.
