U.S. Bank is the worst bank period.  They have so many fees you will be lucky to not get tons of them for nothing.  The only way around this is direct deposit if they don't mess things up or you $2500 sitting in your account.  If I have $2500 its invested not sitting doing nothing! They used to allow for an automatic deposit from checking to savings to cover the fees but they do not do this anymore.  The staff have messed up my accounts more than once and then seem to make you feel like you messed up.  They will not cover their mistakes and trust me this is a bank that makes a ton of them.  What happened to all the great credit unions?  The only thing that works about this bank is the hours of operation but you pay for it.

Everytime I over withdraw my Acct they lock my bank card down and each time I got to call to get the block removed so my card can be used again

Gina Walden assistant manager at US Bank Alhambra branch has a bad attitude and horrible service! This bank sucks all the way around!

Each employee of this branch is mindless, incapable of independent decision making, incompetent, and worthless. I would never hire people of such poor caliber at my company. From their most basic representatives and tellers to the assistant manager to her manager, they are, simply put, useless human beings on this planet. Each one of their employees is currently under investigation for termination by U.S. Bancorp. You're welcome, Whittierites.

The worse bank ever , watch your account the are thief
They screw my biz account the hold my deposit
Do time charge my account many times over and over
I call them they place me in hold for five min no one pick up
Phone also they take my lost money to charge whit over draw .

Went to see a manager regarding my non-use account which continues to charges fees, interest, etc.  she said she would get to the bottom of it .  Gave her my email, she has my cell....nothing.

I think I paid around $360 for not completely shutting down my account.  The service people there said I would be okay.  I think they are trained to keep accounts active so they can always generate a revenue.

Twelve years earlier, I was going out of town and had a son deposit into my account. Unfortunately, they put it into savings, not checking.  Got around $700 bounce fees.  I tried to solve it but gave up as the current manager was not friendly, interested or helpful.

Why am I still here?  I tried to schedule my Visa payment on line.  Their two options are ten days before the bill is sent, ,pay the day it is sent, both options before you see a statement.  I asked if there could be an automatic payment the day it was due, but that is not an option.  I am not going to give the money weeks before it is due.

I guess this is my incentive to move.  Intern didn't relay my call to a banker, the banker I spoke to never followed up,  Hate to leave as it is convenient and I have been here since 1980.  However,  the service I asked to be corrected was just not addressed.

I sat down with Tony, the loan officer on November 26th. It dragged out until July 10th. That's right 8 stressful months. The last offer was to refinance my 5.00% loan with a 4.85% loan PLUS fees. This is predatory lending. There were so many mistakes by the loan officer, branch manager, regional loan officer. They insulted my intelligence, had me find and submit documents for 8 months, and added so much stress to my life.  .  .

Yes, their Management Team is a JOKE. These clowns are like the Lost and the Clueless. I had so many problems while trying to buy my home, I just gave up and went elsewhere.

Went to two different locations to cash my check from state farm who goes through us bank and both locations didn't have enough money in the whole bank to cash my check for 4000$ one bank told me the manager just walked out and would be gone for an hour or so and I should drive up then only I don't have a car BC I can't cash this check to get one. Irony!

This is the worse branch in latonia,they overdrafted me ove 250.00 over 22 cents that should have overdraft protection ,the manager Heather is the worse manager anyone could have,she knew of problem at 92.00 and let it go higher and wont help,blames it on me when it shouldnt be over drafter in the first place,Heather your the worst person you know you stole my kids christmas money and refused to help

Went to cash a check from management company who happen to use another US bank branch. The woman told my husband, both my husband and I have to physically go in to let her check our identity,(I had signed at the back of the check already, and it was not good enough for her.) then we can cash the check. so my husband went out to get me( while she keep my husband's ID and the check) and two young children. after we went in, she then told us, we will have to leave our "finger prints" and there will be $5 charge. At the same time, she had a rude facial expression. I decided not to cash the check at the moment and was glade that I had closed my account 2 weeks ago.
I have to say she was not the only one that I am not happy with, I would say every time when I had to physical go in to this branch, I was not pleased, because their rude attitudes. I opened the account because it is close to our house and I did thought of using this bank to replace my current bank because there is no branch in this town. The reasons that stopped me from switching were "bank teller's attitude", and I don't feel they really appreciate my business. My husband told me multiple times, the clerks work at this branch always made him feel as if he is stealing our own money. He even refused going in to this branch. I had to force him to go in today, because I am very pregnant.  
The managers are actually good, but the clerks need to be replaced, I have noticed these people got worse when the managers are not at desk, for example, the lunch time.

I closed my IRA at maturity and US Bank charged me $30. When asked, the bank's representative said it was a fee they charged when an account was closed and funds moved to another institution. Nothing was disclosed about such a fee when I opened the account and nothing was sent to me between then and the time I closed it. Seems to be a way to punish customers for moving funds to another institution. Beware before opening an account with this bank.

Have my mortgage and a checking account with US Bank Wenatchee.  Doing the right thing, making my mortgage payments on time and trying to pay it off early.  I am now being charged a $18 monthly maintenance fee because my mortgage is under 25K.  I guess the fact that I have already paid US Bank $1000's of dollars in interest already means nothing.  Oh, and now I don't qualify for a free checking account due to recent changes in their account structure and they want to charge me an additional $7 a month for the privilege of accessing my own money.  Talked to a manager and was told, "Times have changed, and these are the fees we charge."  My response, "You only get to screw me once.  So I guess we are done!"  An absolutely naked money grab by another greedy bank.  US Bank Wenatchee has lived up to the BIG bank reputation of screwing over the working man.  I will never do business with US Bank Wenatchee and can only recommend customers find another option.  Unfortunately one person means little to these banks.

I'm a 60 year old lady on oxygen and can't get around well. So my grandson went to their ATM bank to get money and he left my card there the  um lady! Decided it was her duty to immediately cut up my only card. We found this out with in ten minutes of it being left there. And they she was the most uncaring hateful thing I've EVER experienced.   My cars was NOT from their bank. One would think they could if face me at least 24 hours to claim my card!!  I'm wanting her to be fired!!  She may have been a little to hateful to the wrong person !

I've had an account for over a month and still can't use my debit card because the pin hasn't came in the mail. The card took about 3 and a half weeks to get to me in the mail. I also was not aware when I made an account that for the first 30 days they hold $550 in the account that cant be accessed for a month. You get charged to send a check in using the mobile app. Terrible and excited to switch.

I agree with the previous comment from Awful.

I experienced the same issue with receiving a Debit card.. I had to wait 2 months just to get an actual card because everytime they sent it to me it wouldnt get sent.. so they finally let me have a temporary debit card after the first month of no luck.. and then i finally asked them to just get mine and my fiance's debit cards sent to their branch (to see if my address was just the issue) and they finally got it! it was hectic and finally when we got it, of course we couldnt use them immediately, we had to wait for the pin and OF COURSE the idiots in US Bank sent it to my address instead of their branch after telling them repeatedly that my address was the issue (for some weird ass reason).. and I ended up not getting it after a couple of weeks.. so they had to send it to themselves... AGAIN.. finally after another week or so we got it.. but after a week of using the cards with no issue.. our pin decided to not work for some reason. so we had to get it reset by using the atm. and mine has worked now for a good month without any issues but my fiance is still having issues so he always has to run it on credit.
So far not a great experience as far as that goes but I overall LOVE the bank, funny I know. I guess I just like chaos.

This branch should hire people with a brain. The staff at this location is rude, ignorant and just plain horrible! Never in my life have we ever been so disrespected like at this particular branch. They charge accounts a monthly service fee even when you have a direct deposit going through and then tell you it is your fault that this happened. The staff is always unfriendly here and never willing to help. Never again will I ever go through this bank. Will be banking else where.

I had a huge concern and issue with my check and money not showing up in my bank account after a deposit was said to be successful and accepted. I did not understand why I was standing in the negatives for my account so I made a call and the worker who picked up is named sam. She was the most disrespectful, impudent, and laziest worker and individual ever. She did not even help me in anyway and I really want her off the team and fired. Anyone with an attitude as her is not worthy to be on any team who gives beyond poor customer service, especially if it's our money that people like her are handling - I do not trust that one bit. I am greatly dissatisfied and I am going to go out my way to report her. Anyone who works in a bank setting should always show and take any situation serious and with an upright attitude.

I always have trouble getting things done at this branch.
When I first moved to iowa city area i wanted to change the address but they wouldn't let me cause "the proof residency" wasn't enough and I had to go back and forth till I just went to a different branch with the same document and they did it in 5min. When I sold my car and wanted to know if the Cashier check of the buyer is legit, the guy was too political and didn't give me an answer. The other time I was trying to deposit the checks for my company like I always do at every us bank and only this bank gave me a hard time, even when I was trying to deposit my on paycheck they wouldn't let me cause it wasn't signed and the manager lady didn't even said she's sorry and was rude saying "this is not a legal document!"

an unauthorized person (my boyfriend) wrote 4 checks on my account to himself and signed my name.  once I discovered this, I went to US bank and they refused to credit my account (even though I signed that I was the only person authorized on my account and they had my signature on file). they refused to credit my account and file fraud charges against him.

Went in to simply withdraw money from my checking account. Clerk ran it the wrong way once, and told me because she ran it and it didnt go through I had to DRIVE to CHICO to withdraw my money.  Tried to withdraw an amount that I had quadruple of in the account...super simple transaction. Went outside and ran a balance inquiry to show her i had more than enough funds...She scoffed condescendingly and walked away. I had my toddler with me and it was 108 degrees outside - ended up outside doing 5 seperate transactions to withdraw the amount I needed. Totally uncomfortable withdrawing that amount from an outside ATM, but the two ladies could totally care less.  So rude, so unhelpful, and so catty. I hope I never have to go back there.

we tried to get a lot loan through usbank and after showing them excellent credit scores, excellent income, a long standing history of employment in silverthorne, hardly any debt, still no loan.  
stay away and go somewhere else is my recommendation. this is an incredibly conservative bank.

Rude ppl. My atm card was stuck in the machine and they wouldny let me get it out because it had my dads name on it, on there system it said I was a minor, I showed them my I'D which clearly stated I was19. Bitch made my dad cut work, lose money, iI was without gas to get home, missed summer school: ending in a drop class, and had the nerve to talk shit Abt me in Spanish thinking I didn't understand. I seriously, I'm 19 and shouldn't have gone through that stress..  that bitch was so heartless, I waited three hours to get home because I had no money...

What on earth did you expect?  The card didn't have your name on it. It's called security. Personally, I'm glad they take such precautions. I'd want them to do that with a card with my name on it, son or daughter or not. And, anyway... since when is 19 a minor? Grow up, show some responsibility, and quit playing the kid card.

I am in the process of buying a house.. we are working with Amanda freeman. All started of great everything was going good we were suppose to close may 10... well it ended there. we have still yet to close everyday something new pops up and some reason closing gets pushed back.. 2 months later and still wait. to make things worse there is no communication. I call email multiple times and hear nothing back by the 3rd or 4th day we hear another reason why we are not closing.. Seems to me someone is dragging there feet. even today I email Amanda didn't hear anything back.. 5:45 comes around emails me tells me since its been so long our rate is no longer locked in and we have to rewrite or loan... well guess what rates went up today... so now instead of getting our 3.25 we locked in our 2 months ago we have to get a higher rate.... this is ridiculous stay away from these people!!!! This wont stop hear I will make sure I let every person I come in contact with know they stuff they have pulled.... I could go on and on about stuff they promised and under delivered on but I don't have enough time to vent.... STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

I had my account breached. I followed all the steps the bank told me to in order to secure my new account with them. They ended up connecting my compromised bank card to my new account and $250 was removed, unauthorized from my account and then they charged me $80 in overdraft fees because of a mistake they made. After being on the phone more than 3 hours and the branch 45 minutes, I was told I had to wait for my branch to contact me. It has been 5 hours. NO call and they still have my  money.  Avoid US Bank at all cost if you have limited funds because they will find a way to charge you due to their mistake and weasle out of reimbursing you. GO CHASE BANK

After not being able to reach me by phone one day, randomly,  (my number changed, no big deal right?) this branch at cave creek safeway, sent a letter to me stating that they are closing my savings account because they were not able to reach me by phone.  
The manager and staff lack the basics of logic and reason when it comes to customer account management.   Who hasn't had a phone number change, or an address change, and DIDNT immediately call their bank to let them know? Yes, pretty much everyone, but if you are a customer of USBANK at CAVE CREEK SAFEWAY, AZ, your failure to do so will result in your banking privileges being revoked and your value as a customer, unappreciated.

If they had given me more than 7 days to respond to a letter that I wasn't aware was coming,  I would have provided what they wanted obviously.  Its like they are so paranoid that if someone doesnt check in with them regularly, then something is remiss,  which of course is absurd, but thats how they act.
THIS BANK IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
