This bank is awful. The people are beyond rude. The employees treat you like they are so superior to you. I am about to switch banks altogether because of my experience with this branch. Jake Harris is especially awful.

Gave me the run around after I over drafted 5 $ and it accumulated to 180 because I didnt know, my statements were never mailed. They closed my account and reopened it twice without me knowing and it went from 180 in charges to 800 now I have a restriction on my other bank accounts and us bank tells me that they can open it if they want its at the branch managets descretion. They charged off money and put it to a o balance and they took it off putting overdrafts back multuple times. Dont bank with us bank they f@#$ suck

Mortgage loan

My mortgage co. sold my loan to US Bank.  I subsequently had to sell my home in 2010 and tried a short sale. US Bank's response was to send me a Promissory Note and only when I signed the Promissory Note would it accept the short sale.  Really!  The home was foreclosed on in December 2010.  US Bank has reported to the credit bureaus that the foreclosure was in December 2011, said I still owed $11000, etc.  I was able to correct the past due amount because once the foreclosure took place in 2010, I owed nothing!  However, US Bank has failed to correct the date of the foreclosure to December 2010 NOT DECEMBER 2011.  Will never bank with them or recommend this bank to anyone.  All I can say is check your credit reports.

Horrible service

Direct deposit of over 14,000 was refused by US Bank two times. The money was sent by SSD. I will never bank here again.

Loan release

I am trying to get a loan release on a vehicle I am trying too sell.  I have called three times and never can talk to the  same person.  I am extremely frustrated because I want to know the status.  They tell me they can not fax it to the DMV. What is so hard about faxing the loan release to the DMV. Why can't I talk to someone that can get things done.  I will never use US Bank again.  They appear to be the most unorganized incompetent organization I ever dealt with.  Hopefully someone with authority will read this and  straighten out this mess.  This the 21century.  You should be able to scan and email a release form or fax it. Think of the cost saving of not having to mail the form.

I do agree. They wouldn't let me fax a $1000.00 check from an insurance company t fix my car.  They had to have the hard copy in hand. Now they don't know if the check has been returned or not.It seemd to be lost, they don't even have the date it was received or sent back to me.  Don't ever do business with U.S. Bank

Many dmvs will not accept a faxed lien release and are switching over to electronic titling meaning. In that case the lien would need to be released electronically by the bank after the payoff clears which is usually 10 business days or 2 weeks. Most states mail out a paper title once they receive the electronic release, but if you have not gotten it, contact the dmv. If your dmv if saying that a faxed release is ok, calling customer service and having them put a fax and the dmv agents name that said it was ok is helpful.  There may be many reasons complicating your situation like who's name it is currently titled in, if it is a lease buyout and titling is still being worked by dealer/dmv, etc.

For no other reason than liking their name, I gave this bank a try. On the banking end they are okay, but when I went to apply for a Mortgage they were a nightmare. The Loan Officer could not even calculate accurate numbers, and it was a total Bait and Switch on the rate. I scheduled a meeting with the Manager, Joseph Detmer. He cancelled last minute as something happened with his daughter. Understandable, so we rescheduled for the following day. I showed up on time and he was not there. I called him on his cell and he said he was in an appointment but I could hear he was driving and had kids in the car. He made up yet another BS excuse and told me "he'd handle it." He said he'd make it up to me by buying me a cup of coffee and we'd meet the next day at starbucks. He actually showed up this time, and only about 10 minutes late. He made a lot of promises at the meeting, but they were all empty promises. I ended up submitted a loan application with Chase and they closed within 2 weeks. a week after escrow closed, I got a call from the Mortgage person at US Bank asking mre for more information. What a joke, how these guys keep their job is a wonder.

I AM NOT A MEMBER OF US BANK, I WAS PLANNING ON ADDING MY NAME ONTO MY MOM'S ACCOUNT BUT OUR RECENT VISIT HAS MADE ME WANT TO CLOSE THE ACCT AND OPEN IT WITH ANOTHER BANK. THE SERVICE AT THIS BANK IS BY FAR THE WORST, I WAS MAKING A PURCHASE AT SAFEWAY WHILE MY MOM WAS DOING HER TRANSACTION. SHE CAME BACK TO ME EXPLAINING SHE COULD NOT DEPOSIT HER CHECK AND THAT THE TELLER ADVISED HER TO GO CHASE WHERE THE CHECK WAS FROM. I THOUGHT MAYBE MY MOM DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE TELLER WAS SAYING DUE TO LANGUAGE DIFFICULTY. HOWEVER WHEN I WENT OVER TO THE TELLER THAT HELPED HER, SHE SPOKE VIETNAMESE. (WHICH MY MOM'S PRIMARY LANGUAGE) I ASKED HER IF WE COULD MAKE A DEPOSIT, SHE STARTED ASKING ME FOR MY ID, I WAS CONFUSED. WHY WOULD SHE NEED TO SEE MY ID TO MAKE A DEPOSIT? I ASKED HER WHY, SHE RESPONDED BECAUSE THIS WAS NOT MY ACCT. OKAY SO I EXPLAINED THAT THE OWNER OF THE ACCT IS MY MOM, SHE WOULD LIKE TO DEPOSIT ONLY. SHE STARED AT MY MOM AND SAID TO GO TO CHASE BECAUSE IF SHE DEPOSIT THE CHECK SHE WOULD BE BORROWING MONEY FROM THE BANK. SHE WAS SAYING IF THE CHECK WERE TO BOUNCE, THE ACCT WOULD GET HIT WITH FEES. WHEN I WAS TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT THE CHECK WAS DRAWN FROM MY ACCT AND THAT I KNOW FOR SURE IT WOULD NOT BOUNCE, SHE CUTS ME OFF! AND SAID LET HER EXPLAIN...
HOW RUDE! AFTER ARGUING WITH HER ABOUT THIS DEPOSIT. I GAVE UP AND WENT TO THE NEXT TELLER. THE TELLER AT THE NEXT WINDOW TOOK MY DEPOSIT WITH NO TROUBLE. TOOK HIM 2 MINS TO PUT THE CHECK THROUGH....
WHY COULDNT THIS WOMAN HAVE DONE THE SAME?

DO NOT BANK HERE. AFTER THIS VISIT IT SEEMS LIKE THE TELLERS DO NOT HAVE THE SAME UNDERSTANDING FOR BANK TRANSACTIONS.

I think it's interesting they don't show all the reviews. I posted a review Re: this branch and it doesn't show up under reviews. WORST branch by far for Customer Service! They treat their customers with no respect! The manager should be fired!

Manager is not a people person. She has a tremendous aptitude. Manager does not have at all any customer relationship skills. She is so rude. She is a sales person. She is nice with you only at the time she is selling a checking account, credit card or loan. Once you sign for whatever bank service. Manager do not care at all. I am wondering if she has only a high school diploma because she does not have at all any manager skills. This branch needs a Manager with Customer Relationship Skills. We do not need a sales person. Worst Branch, worst experience. Everytime I walk out of that branch I ask myself "I don't know what I am doing here"

I have been a US Bank customer since they came to Omaha. They have great customer service and are very helpful! I highly recommend them for personal and business banking.

I opened an account and told the person that I would be purchasing a vehicle within the week and would need to withdraw a large sum of money. When I came a week later to get my cash they would not release it due to the fact that there was no supervisor present to approve the withdrawal amount. There was no hold on the funds so as you can Imagine I was not happy. I stood in line and on hold with a manager from a larger branch who hung up on me. I am a single mom and had a sitter one night only to get this car purchased. I was livid! By time I made it home the manager that hung up on me called to tell me to drive back up to the bank and get my money. This was after I told her I would call ch2 news. Once I got there they still would not release all the money. The poor teller was in tears because they are severely overworked with no help or manager present. She was sweet and I felt bad for her but the policy in place is terrible and they had to stay late after the bank closed. What a terrible experience and if I did not have to cash child support check there I would close accounts.

Sounds like this customer was wrapped up in desperation and being unorganized she should have called the branch to make sure there was a manager there knowing she was going to withdraw a lump sum also if she read her terms of agreement with her checking account she would have known that instead she ruined Everybody's Day at the bank! The staff here are kind and courteous. I'm sure the clerk was not crying because of being overworked and understaffed had to be because of the customers belligerent antics.

After 2 years of banking here I must say it is the worst customer service bank I have ever experienced.  Their motto here must be: CANNOT DO.

The lease imaginative team I have seen.  Absolutely leaderless with a manager that JUST DOES NOT CARE.

A few exceptions are:  The head teller who does a dozen different jobs at once.  Willie a teller. And Jeff Daly.

Don't bother in Sequim

I went into US Bank looking for a Home Equity Loan based on their advertised rate.  It was nothing but one disaster after another.  After 3 months, we were no closer in getting the loan than we were on day 1.  The loan officer was rude, condescending, and under trained. If she didn't know something, she would just make something up which caused further delays.

Lack of communication was the key downfall.  When things were on scheduled, we heard from them often.  However, when a problem arose, it was though they were afraid to tell us so we weren't made aware of anything unless several calls were made to them and messages left until finally someone got back with us.  Do not expect to reach the person you are calling.  They do not use voice mail so one can not leave a message, only that you had called.  

If you still want to bank there, allow me to provide some translations...
When they say, "No problem",  it means, "That could be a huge problems and cause major delays on your loan."
When they say, "Someone will call you before 2 pm", it means "The person who is supposed to call you left for the day and they will call you whenever they get around to it."
When they say, "That will take about 3 days", it means "That will take about three weeks."

Do yourself a favor and go down to Wells Fargo.  It was like night and day.  Their loan officer was honest, thorough, and got things done.  They did more in three weeks than US Bank did in three months.

This reviewer is nuts. My wife and I have banked with this bank for over 12 years, everyone in this bank is as nice as can be, especially Justin, who is my personal banker.
Sounds to me like this person was probably rude themselves.  DONT BELIEVE THIS REVIEW.

What good does it do if they're open on Sunday if they won't help you.  I applied for 2 credit cards (personal &
Business) at the branch on Mission in O'Side years ago & no problems until today when I needed help.

I was using the copy machine in the store for my recently deceased mother's insurance forms.  I realized 1 page needed my signature with a signature of a witness (didn't have to be notarized).  I thought, wow, I'm lucky they're open on Sunday & asked teller if she would sign as a witness of my signature (I hadn't signed yet), showed her my ID and US Bank credit card.  

There were no customers & no phone calls at the time.  She wouldn't do it & called over another woman and she wouldn't do it nor tell the teller it was OK.  They gave no reason why.  I was so frustrated, I left in tears.

I know this is confusing, but bank policy doesn't allow any employees to be a witness for any document. I worked for US for 6.5 years and now I work for a different bank and it's the same at both places. It's a risk for the bank because the person who witnesses it could be called to court.

I have never known so many mistakes made by a bank, they even took money out of my bank and gave it to someone with the same name, answer? "oops" are you kidding me?

The tellers are rude, the assistant manager is so false and covers mistakes up. She talked very loudly right across other customers to ask a teller something about my acct, after they made a mistake, is a bank not supposed to be confidential?!!!

Depends which teller you get as the rules change depending on who you are talking to/what kind of mood they are in, unbelievable.

An absolute nightmare, even the manager can't get things straight. Go anywhere except US bank unless you want to spend your time trying to figure out the mistakes they make.

I banked with them for about 6 months before I couldn't handle it anymore.  The last straw was last week I went in and Amber helped me.  She was so rude to me because she apparently was about to go on break.  She was texting and talking to the person next to her the entire time I was asking questions about my savings account.  I came in the next day and closed my account. Unbelievable.

I AGREE!!  I have been banking with us bank for over ten years. I Went into the US Bank  Safeway on 46848 Mission blvd, on August 15th. My son and I both bank at US Bank and I wanted to put money into his account.  I had the last 4 digits of his acct number and his SS #.  The guy(with the glasses) told me he couldn't help me because I didn't have his entire acct #.  
WHAT?? I said you can't look it up by his name.  Oh no he tells me, we have been instructed by our manager to not look up accounts by name.  WHAT???  I have been banking there for 9 years.  The staff all knew me  and would always provide me with excellent customer service including looking up my sons acct #.  Now that they have changed staff and managers I will NO LONGER bank there.  Don't these people realize they would not be in business without us as customers. HORRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service.  I've heard for several months people complain about this US bank.  I went on line and US bank has A LOT of bad reviews.  46848 Mission Blvd Safeway US bank.... SHAME ON YOU!!!!  With many banks out there you would think customer service would be rated higher at this bank.  I'm done like so many others I have read about.

The worst bank ever..Horrible customer service..uninformed employees....unprofessional from the top down...as far as my encounters Federal way ...Overlakee..Tacoma top food location.University place Rude on top  of everything .All in washington state. They clearly view clientsclients as.ag nuisance they no longer have to worry about.my small change.BEWARE if you bank with them check the changes they will make on their behalf  to your account.

Why I think US Bank is a bad place to keep your money. I have been a customer of US Bank for 6 years, and for the most of that time the service was ok, but on the 24th of last month I received an email from them that my account was overdrawn, and charged an overdraft. I checked my account online; because I was sure I was still in the positive. I found an E-Check was made out to Home Depot that I did not authorize in fact the name, and address on the check was not mine, so I called US Bank to let them know the check was not mine they told me I should open a fraud case, so I went to US Bank the same day and filed a fraud investigation. I asked them how could someone write a check on my account without being a signer on my account, and the reply was “We can’t look at every check that comes in” I said ok, so you can give me my money and remove the overdraft, because obviously the check was not mine, and they replied “after the investigation has been filed” I waited several days, and then I noticed they added an extended overdraft fee. I am disabled, and living on SSI, and every dollar counts, and they were holding $83.60 of my grocery money. I called to find out why it was taking so long, and they said they had 10 “Business days” to complete the investigation. I sad ok I will wait 10 business days, but if I don’t get my money after that I will complain to anyone that will listen. Well Friday September 8th was 10 business days plus 1 extra day for Labor Day, and they are still holding my money. I feel like I am being victimized by my own bank. I realize that $83.60 is not much money to most people, but it is the difference between eating for 2 weeks or not...

THE WORST customer service I have experienced - EVER!
The "branch manager" has little or no knowledge of procedures and policies and insists on calling "the back office" for everything.

With no concern for customer service and satisfaction (isn't that what banking is all about???) -  this "bimbo" can't figure out how to help the customer and always must differ to some authority who isn't present or informed of the situation because she is more worried about her keeping her job than doing her job.

Maybe the "Bimbo" isnt the manager and just a Banker trying to help. I firmly believe the service isnt that bad otherwise why would you stay at this bank for 10 plus yrs.

HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE.  The fairfax Branch used to have amazing customer service which is extremely important for small businesses.  They then underwent some major changes in which all of their branch management left.  They actually allowed fraud to happen on our account and then did nothing about the $800  That was  obviously stolen from our account, then citing that it was a business account and they then therefore had no responsibility to protect us from what was obvious criminal activity.  When we attempted to resolve the issue our CEO was actually told not to go into the branch to resolve as that would be inappropriate.  When they  did in an attempt to resolve what was an obvious situation of fraud they were then sent a letter by the bank stating that they were closing all accounts personal and corporate.  Wow.  NEVER, bank here.  Yes, we actually had to file police reports

went there to add a power of attorney to my dads account, they said they would send the information to the legal dept and get back to me, never got back to me and never sent the paperwork for review. what did they do, sweep it under the rug? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Absolute worst bank in Idaho Falls

EVERY TIME I go into the Shoup branch I'm treated like a second class citizen.  There tellers are incredibly rude, as it's the branch manager.  If I wasn't forced to frequent this bank every couple if months, I would never again set foot in this bank.  EVERY single time I go in there, they give me problems and are extremely rude.  This bank needs to be shut down!

I am NO fan of Bank of America but their customer service seems like rock stars compared to this US Bank branch.  They don't seem to know how to do simple functions.  The management is borderline rude and it looks like I will be taking my business accounts elsewhere as of this week.  Is it really that hard to get decent customer service in the banking sector for a small business?????
