My wife and I submitted an application to refinance our automobiles. We provided all the necessary information, and were quoted a good interest rate. The process took about a month, and finally we were called in to provide  the titles. We went in and did so, and were told at that time that we would be called the next day to let us know when we could go in to sign the papers. Well, after all this time, we did receive a call the next day informing us that due to an oversight on their part, we could not get the loan with the lower percentage, but, rather at a rate much like what we are currently paying. They said my credit score is one point short of that number necessary to get that loan, and that they had not noticed that previously, which is definitely not the truth. We had reviewed all the paperwork including the credit report. What really irritated me during this process, is that whenever I called the bank to ask for a particular loan person, that person was "always" busy with a customer, and put into her voicemail, which she would not respond to. This bank states in it's promotional material that it "Takes care of it's customers one at a time". Well, I certainly question that!!! If this is the way customers are treated, it's a losing battle for a bank trying to attract new, and keep existing customers...
