No doubt the worst ever, miss the days of Jefferson Bank, friendly knowledgable staff, after a few mergers then I get this stuff. Closing all accounts and are done with them. They should visit Wells Fargo to see how banking should be done - GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.Corporate office are lost in space.

Will only use this bank for back. I have business accounts here and since the change from commerce this bank service is not small business friendly. There is no relationship anymore with the costumer.

Deliberate Manipulation of Credits Increased My Overdraft Fees

Have been a loyal customer of TD Bank (formerly Commerce Bank) for years, have multiple business, personal, credit card handling and escrow accounts. I am pulling ALL accounts, as this bank deliberately failed to credit deposits until AFTER multiple overdraft fees of $35, $70, and then $105 had been charged, over a weekend. Bank manager claimed reversing the fees to correct the problem was "not in his authority".

This bank is impossible to deal with, overcharging late fees and denying any ability to fix problems. On a $20 charge on an invoice that was never delivered to a forwarding address, the bank charged the cardholder, a charitable organization, over $200 in late fees. It took numerous appeals to a branch manager to get most of the fees waived, but even after a $50 payment mailed 3 days before the due date, the bank claimed the payment was late and again refused to waive the late fees. DO NOT USE THIS BANK!!

I have been banking at TD Bank for many years. There service is better, and better every time I visit the branch on 260 Park Avenue, I like there offers, the tellers are friendly and trying there best.
The new manager is a very professional, polite, and handsome young man.
I will continue to used the TD Bank, and I will recommend it to all my friends.

I have been with this bank since it was originally Commerce Bank. I never had a problem until they started taking out money if you go under $100 in your bank account. I'm currently unemployed and cannot afford the extra money they are taking out ritually. They will not let me freeze my account and the people at the branch I'm at do not seem knowledgeable and the wait time on the phone is horrendous. I do not suggest this bank to anyone, especially young adults that may go under the 100 dollar mark. Once I pay my negative balance, I will be switching to another bank.

After contemplating opening an account with TD bank, I 'took the plunge' in or around July of 2010 since they were currently offering a promotion which included a Flip Camera and no minimum balance checking for one year. I completed the required tasks in order to 'qualify' for the Flip camera, however it never arrived. After visiting the branch repeatedly to inquire, I was given the run around and finally gave up! In July of 2011, my one year of no minimum balance had expired and I was then being assessed a $15/month 'below minimum balance fee'. I expressed my disappointment and the 'no minimum balance' was extended for another year and $50 of the money for the fees they had withdrawn from my balance.
Still No FLIP Cam though....!
Since the account was registered to my New Jersey address and our family (Pennsylvania residence) had not been there in several months, I had not received any statements I was again faced with a similar situation. They had again began hitting my account for $15/month fees. Keep in mind, I was not utilizing this account at all. Not their checking account, bill payer services, etc. They withdrew the remaining balance I had, charged me an additional $45 before I even knew what was happening. They then closed my account and I am no considered a 'Charge off' and in collections!
I could understand assessing fees if I was late on an auto loan or mortgage payment or if I had bounced checks, but what exactly was I being charged for? Charging me for nothing. No services were ever provided and not even the Flip cam ever showed. My husband and I will continue our banking at our Credit Union to avoid these fees and poor customer service from TD Bank. I plan to let everyone know the experiences we have had via SEO, Facebook, etc. I certainly hope the $45 is worth it them!!

This bank is a training bank- the tellers are not knowledgeable or friendly,the atmosphere is very very impersonal,no one seems to care how longs the lines are, how many mistakes are made or how disgruntled the customers seem to be. There is no service- its like pulling teeth to get any answers to a question- and then, the answer is wrong. Even when this was Commerce bank its service was poor. Customers left this bank and went to TD Banknorth- now we are all forced back to this mediocre establishment. This is the absolute worst TD Bank in the tri-county area.

Tried to obtain cash from ATM in TDBank, Merrimack. ATM gave me a receipt, but no cash.
Clerk in bank said, this was a problem with their ATM machine...had happened before.
So now I am charged with a withdrawal without getting the cash. The ATM machine should have been taken out of service the first time this happened. LOUSY SERVICE

I have no problem writing reviews on any business, good or bad. In this case I have to give high marks to the Bensalem Branch on Hulmeville Rd in Bensalem,Pa. Lets be honest this is big business and most big businesses could care less about the little guy but this branch is different. I had to get a new license because I thought I lost mine. It showed up a week later in my mailbox. I'm guessin the teller forgot to return it when I was last at the drive thru and didn't realize it. I told them that I thought they should reimburse me for the cost to replace my license and they DID! They've always been nice to me and as accommedating as possible. I'm sorry to see so many bad reviews and wanted to let anyone who reads these to see that all the stores are not bad. I guess it just depends where you go.

My family has done business with this bank since the 1950's; yet they treat me very badly. There are a variety of things they have said and done that i don't want to mention here. The thing is they are far too nosey and "small town" to do business effectivly.
I'm going to use the Barton branch whenever possible.

i went in to the bank at the kittery location for a deposit from my store, and i was appauled at how the teller spoke to me. she told me that a piece of jewelry i was wearing was gottie. i totally understand that everyne has their own opinions but she did not need to repetitivly tell me that somethin i was wearing was ugly and elaborate at how she does not know how any one would wear some thing like it...
i WILL NOT use this bank in the future for my own banking, but i am obligated to use it for work deposits. VERY UNHAPPY. . .

I love having a neighborhood bank where you know them and they know you! Margaret is always so friendly and helpful. She is always able to help me figure out my needs and concerns, and always is as happy to see me as I am to see her! The bank is always clean. The hours are awesome! I am one very happy customer! Absolutely awful. We have been banking with TD Bank in Brevard, NC for almost 4-month now. Customer service is HORRIBLE. We filed a loan application and had to call them 3 times to find out the status. They take no pride in providing quality banking service to their customers. Two of the managers at the Brevard branch are never there and impossible to get ahold of. Left multiple message with no response. We are closing our account. Do not waste your time.

i have been banking at the brevard location, one day i go to the bank and it is closed. i was never informed of this, and was told that the closet location is in hendersonville. i am very displeased with this due to , i am disabled and don't have reliable transportation. so now if i chose to keep the bank as my bank , i will incur atm fees when i use my atm card at any other bank. this is VERY BAD BUSINESS... AM CLOSING MY ACCOUNT AND RECOMMEND NO ONE TO UTILIZE THIS BANK.....

At the local TD banks I use--Main St in Northampton and Russell St in Hadley--I have always found calm, competent, friendly, skilled service. Short lines, help from managers, free notarizing, lollipops. Tellers are universally polite regardless of the customer's apparent status--to those depositing a few pocketfulls of coins and crumpled bills, to people like me who always need their account number looked up.

We have been banking at TD in Kingston NH since we moved here 2 years ago. The people that work in the bank are very competent, professional and extremely pleasant. We have five accounts and do a lot of business with this branch. I frequently use the drive-up window too. We have used branch services in side the bank many times, always with great service. They have a couple of notary publics on staff, and we have used that free service several times. We have never had to wait long. My little boy loves to use the automatic coin counter inside. Five star rating from us! We love this bank and the people who work there, especially as compared to the lousy service we were used to at the other bank (won't mention the name).
