Called the valley stream branch for assistance in an account. I was placed on hold 14 minutes no reason why’. Finally the call was picked up and I was told they can’t help me with something from. September. She told me their computer systems do not go back that far. I advised her that’s incorrect as I have called before and have done it. She asked me for my account number again placed me on hold for another 5 minutes came back and said sorry we can’t assist with that to call the main customer service line. Every time I go there or call it is nothing but problems or rude people. I’m disgusted the incompetency of these people and I’m supposed to trust my money in this bank. With some many banks you would think they would want to stay in Competition with them. The level of customer service is by far the worst service I have ever received. I normally give chances but this was the last chance. I did lot deserve to be spoken to that way nor should I have been lied to. I hung up with them and called the Massapequa branch and was assisted immediately. I don’t understand how Massapequa was able to help they did everything I asked the valley stream branch and it was done promptly and professionally. Although it may seem trivial to some I do not think I asked for much. The young man who placed me on hold was absolutely rude and the woman who finally picked up after the third time I was placed on hold straight out lied . I am shocked at the differences between the branches. Valley stream needs an overhaul . Sorry
