I've been having problems with the online Chase Alerts since July and the I.T. Dept can't fix the problem.  2 different representatives via Customer Service indicated it's a problem with several of their customers.  So I called this local branch to help resolve the problem.  The manager has tried to help resolve the issue; however, the problem is still not fixed.  The regular banker told me that he has not heard of the problem from his customers--only from me--and that it is not a Chase Branch problem and there was nothing he could do about it.  What a customer 'friendly'  response!

I took my daughter there when she turned 18 to open an account and the bank rep took advantage of her and rubbed her!! I am very dissapointed with the bank. She received a card in the mail that she is going to get $125 if she opens a new account, and deposits $100 into checking within 60 days. The rep there told her that she needed $600 to open and did everything he could to talk her out of it, and she and up opening a student account. I looked at the fine print on the card when she got home, and all she needed was to deposit $100 withing 60 days and 10I after she'd deposit they were supposed to give her the $125. I am extremely upset as a father to see some prick of a rep taking advantage of a innocent young girl. I am goof to have her close the account, and go somewhere else! Its ridiculous!! To even think that I am a Electrical Engineer working for DWP Department of Water and Power, and I was going to open one myself over there its absurd. I would NEVER give them my business!!

The best personal service ever! People don't really take the time to know you these days,  but this is not the case here.  I am always greeted by my first name and feel very welcome. With times being so hard, it's nice to have someone do their best to help out! Thanks, ladies!

The  assistant manager at this branch helped me take money out & I had no ID..... I went another branch in Beverly Hills & they turned me away without any help.  He  verified my information & was nice..... I had gym clothes on & it did not matter to him!  Thanks to him I was able to eat & get gas for the car!  Thanks Aaron... He would not let me call corporate to make him look GOOD even though he does not need it :-)...... I just wish there were more of him!

I went to this branch of Chase to get my first credit card, to build my non-existent credit history. I brought my father in case he needed to cosign/guarantee a card for me. I filled out an application and was told there would likely be no problem with my application as I have had Chase for years and have my paychecks direct deposited into my account. Days later, I receive a letter stating that I have been denied for lack of credit history. I call the bank and speak the the banker, Tiffany Lopez, who I had previously spoken to, and she tells me that if I come in with my father again we can have him as a cosigner and then my card getting chances would be like 99%. So I tell Tiffany we will be in between noon and one, call my father, he drives the two hours up to Portland, and we go in to see Tiffany, except she is not there (although she assured me she would be). We are seated with another banker who spends 20 minutes filling out my application. She then realizes there is no spot on the app for a cosigner, so she calls her boss and is told Chase does not allow cosigning like that. However, she says, my dad can get a card and let me use it, which is 'pretty much the same thing as having your own card'. We left soon after without any card. The employees at this Chase Branch are uniformed about their occupations, and will waste your time before you figure that out. Fine for simple transactions, but if you need to sit down with someone, go somewhere else.

The Asst. Manager at the 92 E. 103rd Street,Chicago branch is rude, discriminatory and harassing. Tinzella Carter need to go for customer service training and take a hand analysis class. She needs to learn to relate to the customers she deals with. How are to going to question someone who presents all ID required by Chase. I hope everyone that has been harrassed by any chase branch files a formal complaint with chase. We dont have to take this behaviour from anyone.   Write all concerns to the Corporate Headquarters Chairman and Executive Committee, 9900 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77055-6207

The little handful of good reviews about chase are written by individuals that work in its communication department. Don't believe the hype folks, they're paying people to find the thousands of negative but honest reviews that are posted about the bad customer service, mistreatment & blatant rip offs that chase gets away with every day. chase (I refuse to capitalize its name) is one the largest financial institutions in the world so, of course they have a communications/marketing department to circumvent these negative reviews…

I feel compelled to write a review after reading the reviews below.  I am a former WAMU customer and had reservations about the services that would be provided to me by Chase after the transition.  I have been treated with the utmost professionalism both at this branch and on the telephone.  It's dissapointing that some of the customers Chase has to serve are so rude and obnoxious.  Really, do we need to call people names or bully them about their physical appearance?  That has nothing to do with anything.  I plan on being a Chase customer as long as there is a branch near my home.

If I could give this branch a negative star/less than 1 star I would. That midget branch manager may not have gotten past the 7th grade, I’d rather stab myself in the eye than deal with the troglodytes that work at the front desk and I’ve yet to understand what purpose those so call personal bankers serve as all they do is sit around behind the customer service desk having recess. This branch defines what poor customer service is …

The Judson Branch Manager, Michelle Debeaux is beyond rude and unprofessional; she refuses to speak to her customers. It's ridiculous to go into your bank and not be able to speak with a manager! If you call this branch no-one will help you or return your call; well that is if anyone actually answers the phone. We banked with Chase for over 18 years and always had a great experience until the past couple of years when this new manager was hired. Due to lack of courtesy and respect from Michelle Debeaux, we closed all of our accounts, investment accounts and will be moving our mortgage from Chase. I guarantee if you go to this branch you will receive poor customer service and unprofessionalism. I will NEVER recommend and tell EVERYONE I know to never go to Chase Bank!!

Mrs Debeaux was equally unpleasant and unprofessional at the Chase branch in Marshall. I closed all my accounts at the time because of her. Same problems as the earlier stated; poor customer service, incompetance.

The branch manager, Amanda Tomlinson, seems to be on vacation more than she's there. The rest of the staff hides whenever someone walks in. T

he tellers act annoyed if you don't have a deposit slip.

The tellers work even when they're violently ill and snotting and coughing and sneezing all over the money and paperwork.

I've had holds placed on deposits where the call center says the branch placed the hold, and the branch says the call center placed the hold.

Last week, one of the tellers saw that I was depositing a large check, and asked if she could have some of it.

The convenience of having branches everywhere isn't enough to make up for the way Chase does business.

Chase Bank Munster Indiana have sent me to Foreclosure, I have never missed a payment, I have paid more on my Mortgage than needed and they cannot fix their computer issue. They have reported me to credit companies, so I cannot refinance, They are illegally trying to steal my home and force me to foreclose.  The Chase Staff will not help saying they cant figure out what is wrong. I have started a website to document Chase Mortgage Fraud. They add on illegal late fees when it is Chase Mortgage Dept. problem, I pay the late fees and Chase Bank office in Chicago and in Munster, Indiana will not help. $28 Billion bailout  money and they treat their customers all like thieves and Liars.  http://www.chasemortgagefraud.com

Switched from TD to Chase

I have gradually switched from TD Bank to Chase.  At TD I never see the same people twice and this is only one of many complaints I have about them.  Not so at the Hicksville branch of Chase.  I have dealt with the same person every time I have gone in there and he knows me as soon as he sees me.  Their rates are not so great, but that's true in any other bank and whereas at TD I was paying half price for my safety deposit box which I thought was a bargain at $35 a year, at Chase I am getting it for free.

There is one and only one branch of Chase that I deal with now and it's because of the excellent customer service given by Amanda at the Van Born Branch in Dearborn Heights, Mich.  She never disappoints and always follows up as promised. She goes out of her way to make customers feel special like they are the only customer there despite how busy she is. She the only reason I have kept all my accts including my business acct with Chase.

Even if you are the only person in line to get service it is very slow! If you have a question the tellers rudely answer, and if they are unable to help you they pin the blame on others and have a horrendous attitude at the customer. The last three experiences I've had make me want to switch banks swiftly! Good customer service is a must in my life.
